This place is very clean and the newer single load washers do the job. The older dryers have older baskets and sweaters might get roughed up or the tie on a hoodie can get caught. A little expensive for what it is but they do have a monopoly on this town. Friendly staff. read more

The Terry Gibbs the owner of this business would not allow my service dog in this business. Terry said sínce he's a private owner he doesn't have to allow service dogs in the cops came and we looked up the law. The cop told the cop he has to allow my ADA dog in the owner still said no. I talked to the ADA office here in New Mexico they said if the owner let's people come In his business then he has to allow my service dog in. Terry Gibbs said no.. This Beckers is a ran down place. It may be the only one in town, don't waste your money here, find another source. The Susie who claims to own this run down shack, seems to be a miserable person who mistreats customers who unfortunately come here. I can see how it would be a miserable place for her to have to try and eek out a living. But there is no excuse for their attitude and ignorance. I have serious health issues and have a service dog who helps keep me among tge living. That stupid Susie demanded I get out of her laundry after I had all of my laundry in her old machines. My dog is well behaved, has better manners and intelligence that that ole gal. So if you are disabled lije me and have a Service Animal and you are looking for a well deserving idiot to sue, then go to this run down Beckers Laundry. Very dirty, and the most disgusting laundry mat we've ever been to, we rv and had to go do laundry. well we walked in and it was filthy, and the stench was so overwhelming , but being it was the only laundry mat in town, and we mean only laundry mat in ruidoso, we had no choice but to use their facility, well I'll have you know that the machines don't wash properly at all and dryer's don't heat so 50$ dollars later I asked the young lady working there, in her pajamas mind you !!!if they clean the dryer's from the lint,cause they don't heat up !!! She called the so called owner which had her very disrespectful grandkid's there running around and bumping into everything and everyone with the laundry carts, and that woman comes down from the office and just screamed for us to leave, her place we gladly left that place, had to go take a shower cause that smell in that place made you feel stinky and dirty just by being in there, so for all our fellow RV's use the facility in the rv parks, even if they just 2-3 machines , cause this place is disgusting!!! Worst place ever to do laundry. The dryer's don't dry. It'll take your quarters all day long. The laundromat is dirty. Kids running around uncontrollably. The owner doesn't care. We expressed our concerns to her and she asked us to leave which we gladly did. Never returning that's for sure. read more

Lots of machines, very clean facility, decent prices! A great place to get your laundry done in Ruidoso.

I brought a comforter in to be dry cleaned and when I asked the owner if they dry cleaned she said, "Oh we can just wash that, it'll be fine." So, I let them wash it. When I went back to pick it up, it was clearly not in the condition I dropped it off in and I was given a $5 dollar discount. After the summer ended and I needed my comforter I unwrapped it to find it had been completely ruined. I called in and took the comforter back only to be yelled at. I was told it was my fault because I, "Went against the direction on the comforter." I WAS reimbursed the $11 dollars for cleaning the now destroyed comforter but only after being reprimanded over the phone for a solid 5 minutes. I even told the owner I wasn't trying to be nasty...that didn't matter, she wasn't taking ANY responsibility for the mistake. I will never go back and I suggest you keep your belongings FAR, FAR away. There is another GREAT cleaning service right down the street that is WONDERFUL!! GO THERE. read more
