We've used Beck's Plumbing twice in the past 6 months at a new house in Justin. And both times, Beck's has been able to send out an expert within 24 hours to help resolve the issue with our toilet and both technicians (Aaron came out today) were extremely kind, easy to work with, and gave additional insight and tips into A) why the problem likely happened, and B) how to prevent it again - most importantly - providing self serve and full service offerings through Beck's (instead of taking advantage of our ignorance in this department). Because of this, we'll continue to use Beck's and I would recommend to others. read more

I am tired of business's doing bait and switch. They gave me a price of $3,500 to replace 2-50 gallon HW heaters with a $225 attic charge and a $75 service call over the phone. When they saw my house and did another estimate on site with all new everything they changed the estimate to $7,138. I knew their first estimate probably didn't include everything but didn't expect them to double it. They were my first call since it was such a good price I wasn't going to shop around. They got their $75 service fee and were told to leave. read more

This is the same Beck's Plumbing from the older reviews in Roanoke, but they are now in Justin. I've been a NE Tarrant resident for 20 plus years and we used Beck's the first time 'back then' because we wanted to give our business to a local small company. Beck's has delivered ever since on a variety of plumbing issues. Today's latest visit reminded me of how efficient and polite they still are. Always on time; friendly, competent, and well spoken employees, and still that small local business that I like to hire for domestic fixes. No one likes a plumbing issue, but it's always nice to get in a visit with one of the guys, and its comforting to know they'll get the job done at a competitive price. I am forced to rate this company higher than they deserve because you can't give a negative rating which is what they deserve. The office manager doesn't care about the job that they do. She is all about the money. I have reported them to the BBB and will go to the licensing board if I don't get resolution from them. They came out to fix a bathroom issue and made a bad problem into a catastrophe. They came and didn't finish the job. We had to hire another plumber to do the work. They said they would run the camera and they never did. They never tested their work except to see that the toilet flushed but they left it running. They are inexperienced workers and caused a flood in my home due to their inefficient work. Buyer beware. You are warned if you use them. read more

I called them at 6:30 tonight because we had a leak and didn't want to wait all weekend to get it taken care of. Jacob came out this evening, was very professional and knowledgeable, answered all my questions and gave me a few DIY pointers as well. He fixed the leak in our wall and I have no complaints about what we were charged. If you need some plumbing work done, don't hesitate to give them a call. Had a Leak in my Main Water Line, close to the meter. Reached out to Beck's based on references from Facebook Groups. Called them first thing this morning, they were onsite by 10:00a. The two young man they sent to our house didn't a great job and we would not hesitate to have them back

If I could give this establishment less than 1 star, I would not hesitate to do so. We had issues with our plumbing because for over an extended period of time, there was a distinct smell throughout our house and we could not find the source. The owner of our house (we rent) hired this service at the beginning of August 2020. They came to the house a total of 3 times. The first time they came to our house, they claimed it was a line behind the refrigerator that needed to be capped. Owner paid to have that repaired. The second time they came to the house, they claimed it was a pipe that needed to be replaced because there was a hole in the pipe. Owner paid to have that replaced. The third time they came out, they claimed it was a piece of plastic that was left on the ring of the toilet. Owner paid for labor. Every time this plumber came to our house, he claimed it was probably "the sewage". None of these issues were the source of the smell. The smell never went away although the plumber, Jacob, claimed he could not smell it. My father, step mother, sister and I all began to experience frequent headaches. It was then, when my father reached out to his close friend who is also a plumber and has been for all of his working life, to see if he could come and identify the source of the smell. He came to take a look yesterday, which was 10/2/2020, 3 months later. As soon as he stepped into the house he smelled what he identified as a gas leak. He followed his hunch and went under the house to follow the smell until he was under the bathroom, and noticed the smell was the strongest at that location. He took a look the gas line beneath the house, under the bathroom, and saw that it was rusted and barely holding together. He touched the line and it completely busted. The smell of gas consumed the entire house to the point where every window and door in our house was open to help air out the smell. The smell that had been lingering throughout our house for months was a gas leak. On 3 separate occasions, Jacob came to our home and "identified" everything else other than this dangerous safety hazard. My family lived with this leak for months and could have been dangerously injured or much worse all because of the lack of competence of this entire establishment. Not to mention the customer service was terrible. Every time my father called to explain the smell had not been identified or fixed, the receptionist had the worst attitude. I would absolutely not recommend. If a plumber cannot identify the smell of a gas leak not once or twice but three time, does he deserve to keep his license? The owner of our home continued to pay for this horrific job not to mention it put my entire family at risk for any potential medical issues. Avoid this establishment at all costs. read more

With living in Southlake for22 years, I've discovered the best business I've ever dealt with is Beck's plumbing. I hate dealing with service people because the repair is usually not done correctly or is only temporary. Then I have to schedule someone to come out again. Try living without indoor plumbing. I thought my pipe going to the septic tank was clogged again. Richard came out promptly and ran a camera through the pipe to check for a blockage. Everyone else ran a 'snake' through first and then wanted to charge extra for the camera when that didn't work. Richard discovered there was no blockage but I needed the tanks pumped out. I was trying to dig the hole to access the tank to save money, Richard took over and dug all the way down to the tank. I tried to pay him and he didn't want to take any money. I had my credit card out to pay for the work but after hearing that I worked two part time jobs he didn't even finish the paperwork for the service call. He didn't charge a penny. I almost cried. Who does that? I wish Beck's did other work so then I would never need to call anyone else. Beck's plumbing is honest, professional, friendly and has a heart as big as Texas! The best experience I've ever had. Call them. You'll finally find your forever plumber too. read more

We called at about 8:25AM after we noticed a gas smell in our garage, and they were able to be at our house by 8:45AM to check it out. Jacob the technician was great and found the issue and got right to work. He fixed the problem and walked us through everything. We were very happy with the work, and will call them in the future for any other needs. read more

We have called Beck's Plumbing 2 times now to our business to fix our toilet (same restroom). The first time they fixed it; it lasted exactly 1 day before we had the same problem of over flowed toilets. Granted we work with kids and they are not nice to our toilets; but it seemed like the minimum was done to fix the problem. I called to have them come back again; and let them know the problem was not fixed but is happening one day from the time they fixed it. This time; they were going to run an "eye" to see what was happening, all we got was there was a lot of poop there (hmm, interesting thought). 2 Days later; same issue of overflowed toilet. We weren't given any suggestions or solutions to why this may be happening (besides Poop and Paper Towels; to this we have taken our the paper towels from the restroom since their first time fixing the toilet). The last call I got from them was to pay the invoices; which we have sent the check out to recently. After about $400; we have had no resolutions, or suggestions to a bigger problem. I would not recommend them to my friends in Denton or anywhere else for this matter. read more

Awful customer service. I had a backed up kitchen sink. I called to make an appointment and was scheduled two days later. They were a no show! This was due to an error caused by their scheduler "Carol". Her excuse was that they are very busy and she is doing the best that she can. Beck's offered no incentives and refused to waive their service fee. All they offered was to try and work me in. What good is an appointment??? Luckily I found another company that actually showed up and fixed the problem and did this all before Beck's called to reschedule me. If I could rate them a negative star I would. I rarely every post negative reviews, especially on local small businesses, but we felt that this experience left us with no choice but to warn others. Our insurance company put us in touch with Beck's Plumbing to repair a toilet in our condo. Because we live out of state, we asked Beck's if it would be possible to call the number we provided (belonging to a neighbor who lives next door) so that he could come down and unlock the door for the workers. The office at Beck's reassured us not once, but TWICE, that they would pass along the number to the plumber with instructions to call upon arrival. Because of the four-hour service window, our neighbor stayed in his home waiting for a call for the entirety of those four hours. When they still hadn't arrived, our neighbor called the company and they told him that the workers were on their way. Some time later, the workers had still not arrived, at which point he called us, and we called Beck's for more information. The treatment we received next was unprecedented. The woman who identified herself as supervisor over the phone ridiculed the idea of the worker calling upon arrival and denied that her office had ever approved that request. She claimed that the workers had arrived at the house, no one had answered, and so they left. We tried to explain the situation but were cut off multiple times by her telling us that since we were the ones who missed our appointment, we would have to pay the service charge for that appointment and schedule another work order for a different day. She also added that she would absolutely not ask her workers to call/text upon arrival because she did not want them "texting and driving." We kindly explained that we also did not want the workers texting and driving, and that if they could just call once they've arrived and parked, that would be great. Her response? "They would still be in the vehicle so it's considered texting and driving." To make matters worse, I suppose she realized she was not making sense and abruptly spurted out, "Nobody tells me how to run this business!" and hung up on us. At this point, we realized that nothing was going to be done and that we had essentially been scammed. Thankfully, our insurance company understood and transferred us to another plumbing company. This was really a very unfortunate incident and we wouldn't wish it upon anyone else. read more
