We found a mystery exterior leak on our property the weekend before Christmas and had to shut off water to the house. After another plumbing company scheduled an appointment for us and then later canceled it with no explanation, we called True Plumbing on Monday morning. Eric from True Plumbing showed up when he said he would, took a quick look at our problem, and explained the three possible causes of the leak, along with how much each would cost to fix if said problem was found. The area would have to be minimally excavated to locate the underground leak. He was very up front about what the diagnostic process would be and what the repairs would entail for each of the three possible scenarios, including what he would do to avoid damaging the driveway. Eric was transparent, very easy to communicate with, and obviously a knowledgable, experienced plumber. After that five-minute conversation, my husband and I both felt 100% comfortable hiring True Plumbing to come back with a team to excavate the problem the next day. True Plumbing got to work when they said they would, the day before Christmas Eve no less. Sure enough, the problem was scenario #1 on their list of three possible causes of the leak. A decade before we bought the house, the sprinkler system had been connected to the house's water pipes using an illegal part that had finally failed. True Plumbing said that since sprinkler technicians are not certified plumbers, problems like that are common. Be careful who you hire to tamper with your water pipes! True Plumbing fixed the leak and we had water restored to the house within a couple of hours! The cost ($800) matched the verbal estimate to the penny. Use a debit card or cash to avoid the 3% credit card fee. They even completely cleaned up their work site. Real professionals. 100% recommend.

So I contacted Plumbing Service Repair on Saturday - made an appointment with the girl- told her about the transaction with irrigation specialists. She booked an appointment between 9-11a for Sunday. (Great!). Surprisingly, plumber calls 9a on Sunday ON THE DOT, and says - I'll be there at 10am. Plumber calls back 15 minutes later and says "I can't do sprinklers." My husband explains again that the irrigation people were out the day before and it is NOT the sprinklers. Plumber says okay. We wait, and wait... and at 11a- I call the company again. Same receptionist as Saturdays call- "oh he said he can't do it" But no one called to tell us he wasn't coming?! She tells us it is our responsibility to have called them to find out why he no showed... but she'll book us another plumber to come out between 3-5p on Sunday. Fine, ok. Just need to get this done. As we are leaving our house (11:45a) to run errands - phone rings the 3pm plumber wants to come right now. Told him no, appointment is at 3pm. Plumber shows up at 3pm in an unmarked van, not in uniform.. is outside our house for 20 minutes - comes to tell me he can't find the leak, he isn't a leak detector and cannot do anything but it will be $125 for him coming out. He also has no way to process a CC and starts writing down my CC number - which I immediately stopped and shredded the paper. Eventually someone calls me from company number and I pay my bill (begrudgingly) for literally no service rendered. He tells me to call the company tomorrow and have a leak detection person come out and he can come back out to fix it - and my $125 will go towards that bill. My husband calls today and service is refused. And he was hung up on multiple times. This company is being reported to BBB for being complete frauds. Why actually help customers when you can charge $125 for a fifteen minute "consolation" and never have to fix anything.

DP called back the next morning and assured me they'd talk to a manager and get back to me. 4 Days later I called back to inquire and I had to speak to two different girls who were well equipped with excuses and more promises to call me back. Eventually they did call back to say they could come out to my property for a $175 service fee and they wouldn't touch the pump which is what I called them to repair as they installed it. I decided to call a different company at 3:30pm who arrived super fast in 45 minutes, diagnosed, repaired and then came back bright and early the next day to replace the pump. Diversified called back Monday morning to say they could now come out for $175 just to assess and this wouldn't go towards any repairs. This was 8 days after my original call request. I said no thanks. Poor treatment and poor service. Very disappointing as DP used to be great. Now, they have diversified excuses.
