The details were amazing! The little baby cake topper was so cute, and they gave instructions on how to keep her (to dry her out) which the mom will do. The cake not only looked amazing it tasted delicious also. Often so many of the ascetically nice looking cakes don't taste so good. In this case it was a win win all around. We wanted something very special and beautifully decorated and since we're not from the Princeton area we found Kathia's website and were blown away by her designs and reached out to her. Kathia was very responsive to our email messsges and worked with us to make our final cake decorating decisions, she also delivered our cake on time for a small delivery fee to our venue at Palmer Square. The cake was beautiful, simple and elegant just as we wanted and actually matched our flowers and was most importantly DELICIOUS! The vanilla cake and fruit filling flavors were perfectly balanced, the icing wasn't too sweet and the texture was nice for both the cake and icing and didn't overpower the strawberry fruit filling. Since I had to work in the area nearby, I placed a pre-order for a bundtlet tower at this location. I got her two of her favorites and a chocolate covered strawberry cake in the tower. They usually wrap it in cellophane, tie it with a ribbon and add a little flag with a saying on it, depending on the occasion. When I arrived at this location, the store was packed and there was a line to the door. I'm not sure why I was surprised at the line. It was Valentine's Day, after all. Despite the line, it moved fairly quickly. When I got to the counter, I told them that I was there to pick up an order and gave my name. The cashier went to the back and came back out with my order. She asked if I would like anything else. I decided to get two bundtlets for myself: chocolate covered strawberry and white chocolate raspberry (my favorite). The chocolate covered strawberry cake is a seasonal flavor that they had due to the holiday. It was basically a strawberry and cream cake topped with a chocolate ganache and heart-shaped sprinkles. I enjoyed this cake but wish the chocolate was more of a sauce rather than a hard shell. As with all of these shops, the store itself is bright, colorful, and cute. I'm glad to know that if I need to pick up a treat on short notice for a celebration, Nothing Bundt Cakes is the place. I placed and picked up my order on the same day, which was also probably one of their busiest days.
