Didn't bother to take me privately into a desk area where I can open a new act take my name off an old act and look at my CC balance. Take some things off auto pay. If these are things bankers can no longer do I don't need a damn bank!! My debit card was flagged as fraudulent down the damn street and these lazy people couldn't even remove that? Absolutely worthless! I'm not paying $15mth for this crap.

I decided it would be easier to go into the branch to get my application done face to face . The Good- I was greeted and acknowledged right when I walked in , I communicated what I wanted and I got help in less than 5 min. The guy that helped me got the application squared away with a new card coming in 1-2 days , also helped me add the new number right away to my phone wallet for immediate use. He was helpful. The Bad- probably why I won't return . The guy that helped me , I forget his name . I told him clearly 2- 3 times . My application didn't have the correct address which is why it got archived in the system . I brought in the hard copy proof today to redo it . His first question to me was "Are you a citizen?" I stared at him blankly for a second and said.. yeah. I was thinking , I literally just told you multiple times what happened, what's the need to ask that? It has nothing to do with what I need help with . I brushed off the micro aggression and just finished the process . I wonder if he asks all the other customers, that are white and look like him if they are a citizen before he helps them ? Or perhaps he felt the need to ask me , because you know , brown ppl couldn't possibly be American citizens , that HAS to be why I'm having problems, just go ahead and ignore the whole explanation I gave you about why I'm here . I get that this is a small , not very diverse town and we've had our fair share of run-ins and micro aggressions, but if you're working with customers on a daily basis , watch the offensive, inflammatory things you might be thinking and maybe just don't say them out loud.

I've not been a bofa customer for years now (for reasons like these) but I was…read moresadly forced to go into this branch to withdraw some money in an UTMA account that my deceased father opened years ago. I went in and tried to withdraw it but was told I needed a death certificate. Ok fair enough. Got the copy of the death certificate and tried to call ahead to make an appt. Literally called 8 times throughout the day and nobody answered the phone. Decided to just try my luck and went in to see if I could talk to somebody. The manager advises all her bankers were unavailable and would need to schedule an appt later that week. I show up to the appt, and send them the death certificate. Turns out the format needed to be in pdf form, that was never disclosed to me. So I had to convert it to a pdf on the spot (thankful for tech that allows us to do such things). Go through all of this only to be told that apparently I need to get a court order to be appointed as a successor to the account. WTF?! Why did nobody tell me any of this the first two times I went in? Also why does nobody answer the phone? Thankfully another employee stepped in and advised they would try to find a solution that did not include me going to court just to try and get what is lawfully mine. They told they would get back to me and never did. Just failure after failure. Utterly unacceptable experience. I don't reccomend BOFA to anybody at this point .
