We drive 45 minutes just to take our dogs to Boones Creek because of how much we love the care. We have three dogs and all of them are weird and have their own needs and personalities. I have seen all the staff work so well with each one of them. When my older lab had to get surgery I wasn't worried for a second because of how much I trust this staff and their expertise. They were able to get him in quickly when we didn't have an appointment. They are professional, kind, everything is always clean, and I just feel so lucky to have them there. Now we are 5 hours past our appointment time but I get charged a fee...Nice..oh and there is a 4.00 card fee. So my 100.00 grooming now grows. Guess what you just lost a ev d ry 6 week grooming. Very nice animal hospital. Gal on the phone was very nice. (Our kitty had thrown up over a dozen…read moretimes in an hour and was having trouble breathing.) Once she confirmed it was an emergency with the doctor, they told us to come down right away. They were able to work us in and took great care of our kitty. Both the doctor and veterinary tech/assistant were extremely kind and caring. Since we didn't have an appointment, and because it was Sunday, it did take some extra time waiting in the exam room but that should be expected. X-ray was recommended, which we approved, and treatments were discussed with us by the doctor. Nothing was done without our consent and nothing was done as a surprise. We did have to pay the add-on emergency fee. But frankly, if that fee keeps people without actual emergencies from filling the place up on the weekends when our regular veterinarians office is closed then we are happy to pay it. (It was a $65 add on and in my opinion was well worth it.) We hope to never need another emergency veterinary visit when our regular vet office is closed but are very happy to know Robinson Animal Hospital will be here if we need them. If you are serious about taking care of your pets we highly recommend Robinson Animal Hospital. If we lived closer we would seriously consider switching to this vet. I called and talked to Sherry, and she was not helpful and was not professional. When you spend almost $500 you expect the things that you paid for to be done. I have taken my puppy since he was 8 weeks old there and told them that they needed to make this right and they just kept saying that they could do it for FREE, I have already paid for it!!! Stevie was COVERED in ticks, hot spots, and matted hair. She looked like she had been terribly neglected or had been a runaway for a very long time. The vet said no chip and gave us antibiotics for the hot spots but said we had to get her groomed or at the very least trimmed because her 5"+ matted hair was making the hot spots worse. After a failed attempt to bathe her myself and after calling multiple groomers who couldn't get her in for a visit for several weeks, we finally found Heavenly Cuts. She transformed this dog! No more burrs, ticks, or fleas! And no more smelling like a homeless person!
