I can't in good conscience recommend this business. Although the staff are nice and seem friendly…read moreand caring I believe the business side is a little broken. We dropped our dog off on the way to the airport after booking on the phone. No one mentioned that they only take cash nor was it on the web. Luckily we had withdrawn cash for our trip so we didn't have to seek out an atm. The website stated that with a 5 night stay you got a free bath. Our dog was there for 7 and when my wife called to check they said it was for a 10 day stay. She took a screenshot of the website and sent it to them so we didn't get the bath. The website has since been shut down. We also left her medication with them and they said they would handle it. We left exactly 7 pills for the 7 nights. When we picked her up they returned the bottle with 4 pills remaining.

A friend of mine has used Dr. Presnell for years with great success at a lower cost than my current…read morevets prices, and so when she was giving up an appointment slot I jumped at the chance to take it for my aging dog who needed to be seen. Unfortunately, we were seen by a new, younger vet and NOT Dr. Presnell. The bloodwork came back less than favorable and she suggested they keep him for two nights. She said they couldn't keep him longer regardless of his condition because of a one day holiday (that should have been a red flag). I inquired about overnight hospitalization prices and was told it was $60 a night. We agreed. We called to get updates (they never called us with any information) and the one and only time they called back, I was told he seemed to be doing better with fluids and had taken a spoonful of food. After the second night, we picked him up with the expectation (by what we had been told up to that point) that he was doing a bit better and anticipated a $300-$500 vet bill. The bill was nearly $1000!!! We were then told "he may, or may not recover". I know there is no way to predict the outcome, but my dog came home even worse than he was. Once we saw him it was obvious that he hadn't improved at all. He refused to eat, vomiting and had labored breathing. I wish the vet had given us a true prognosis of how bad things were. I would have preferred a truth bomb that it was his time, rather than given hope when things were hopeless of improvement. I had to go to my regular vet and have him put down after having had him home for 1 1/2 hours. I felt horribly guilty that the last two nights of my aging dogs life were spent having test and being given injections surrounded by strangers.
