I was in here a few days ago looking for a specific type of floor lamp with shelves. When my husband and I walked in, an employee greeted us and asked if we needed any help. My husband responded that we did and asked where the lamps were located. The employee pointed it out to us. Well, my husband and I didn't follow directions well because we ended walking pass the lamps. We were talking to each other about how we couldn't find the lamps when the employee from earlier walked up to us and said, "I noticed you didn't find the lamps. Let me walk you to the area." The employee proceed to walk us to the lamp area. They did not have what I was looking for, but I appreciate that gentleman for following through with making sure we were in the right area to look for what we wanted. The smell in here was so strong that it gives you headache. They need to ease up on the home fragrance here. It is very cluttered in here as well. You can find a lot of stuff in here but I didn't last long because of the overwhelming smell of air freshener. I like when stores put clearance outside makes it easier to shift through. read more

Popped into this BB&B looking for Christmas presents. As is their customer, narrow aisles and high stacked shelving help me to feel just a little bit overwhelmed and claustrophobic. But they do have everything you might possibly need to out fit your kitchen (except food), bathroom (except a toilet), living room (except a sofa) and pretty much every other room in the house. I have to be honest this is another one of those stores I kind of forget about. I was driving by the other day and saw the sign and thought I would run in and check them out. So this may have been a mistake, I ended up spending at least 45 minutes looking around. First, the quantity of household items they have is really quite large. Every area of the home is covered here. Really if they don't have it you will probably have a hard time finding it anywhere else. So the other thing I found out was, sign up for their email or text club. Within 24 hours you will get a coupon for 20% off one item. Plus you will get regular specials. Next up clearance items. So they have clearance items throughout the store. So anything they have with the yellow clearance pricing is an additional 50% off. Then to my surprise one item even rang up for an additional 30% off. My $150 item ended up costing about $32. Hard to beat deals like this! Staff was friendly and had coverage all over the store. As I was looking I has several different employees ask if I needed help finding anything. Great store! now I just need to remember to go in a little more frequently. read more

Was moving and searching for the color schemes my daughters and I discovered we wanted while riding down the road. Figured lets start here since we saw it sitting there while at a traffic light. They had the cutest bedding sets ever and they were having the sales of all sales apparently. I found all of us a bed in the bag set. Only one of the sets didn't have sheets but I found them elsewhere. I love the helpfulness of the staff and the organization of the store. You could easily buy something from every section because you see things you semi need at every turn. A bit pricy for me but you can always find good deals as well. read more

I placed an order online and when it was delivered it was an empty box!! I called and it is supposed to be resent, so we'll see.

Another visit to Hoover's Bed, Bath and Beyond...once again, just a pleasure to be there and shop. The store is always clean and stocked to the brim with all kinds of wonderful gift and gadget ideas, some that you just don't see anywhere else. The sales people are super helpful, and if they aren't sure where a product is, they get on their radios and get answers from other staff. I could stay in there for hours, looking around and finding really kewl things. It's a great place to go for that hard-to-buy-for person on your Christmas list. read more

Even though they didn't have the item I was looking for the coworkers did a good job as far as making sure that I found everything. This was my frist time coming in bed bath and beyond they have so much stuff from cleaning stuff, towels, ect if I ever need anything out of here I will come back in the future read more

Great store! It was the only place for at least a 20 mile radius that has the particular item that I was looking for (refill CO2 canister for Soda Stream). They could use more focus at the cashier positions, though! read more

As much as I loathe shopping (unless it's in front of a monitor and keyboard), BB&B is where it's at for wedding registry. And they always accept the 20% off coupons that come in the mail. read more

This is a fairly large one with lots of choices. I would suggest that they clean the ladies room a bit more.

The service at this location is stellar. Which is good, because I find that it is often difficult to find things, even with the "rooms" being divided into different sections.Items are often hidden on endcaps, and sometimes there is only one choice per item, and it gets hidden amongst ALL the other things there. THANK YOU For being so customer service orientated! I shopped at your Hoover AL store yesterday and was dreading it since it was TAX FREE WEEKEND. When I commented to the cashier that the store was not crowded she said officially they were not open for another 15minutes. Surprised, I apologized for coming in too early, she said, "Not at all, we open when we see the first customer" WOW! Thank you for not making busy shoppers wait outside the store a few minutes before opening. I would also like to add that every employee I passed while walking through the store was welcoming and greeted me. You have a lifelong customer! read more

I went in to the Bed Bath and Beyond in Hoover today to return two items that I ordered online that did not work. Denise could not have been more helpful and patient. I really appreciate her taking the time to make things work in this complicated return (PayPal, two order numbers, no paper receipt, etc.). I purchase a few items in the store then ordered another item online at the store with Kevin's kind help. He was great. He made it super easy and I was thrilled to have an associate's help making sure the order was accurately placed as opposed to doing it myself at home. If you want to buy an egg poaching pan you'd probably think BB&B is the place to go. After all its a specialty cookware item. The problem was the night I went they had a lady at the information desk who said "What's that?" Rather than search on her computer, this lazy twit told us to "look around the cookware aisles and maybe you'll find it." After 15 minutes of searching we gave up and left. I later found the item on amazon and ordered it. THIS is how brick and mortar businesses that depend on foot traffic end up closing their doors. They're so determined to get someone to stand at the information desk for minimum wage that they don't care if the person runs off customers or not. The next time I need specialty cookware or anything else BB&B carries I'll skip the frustration of driving to the store and will get on Amazon instead. And I'll share my story with others and suggest they don't bother trying to get customer service at this store read more
