Fortunately BBB had it in stock at this store so I found a coupon and placed the order for store pickup - I got the last one! Within two hours I got a notification that it was ready and that curbside was available. When I arrived, I hit the button in my email to notify the store and entered the space number where I was parked. Before I could make room in my trunk for the box, an employee was pushing a cart out with my order. He helped me get the box in the trunk and I was on my way. I purchased a "Hello Laura" Collage Wall Picture Frame. These 12 4x6" frames had to be attached to make this collage. When I tried to screw the pieces together I had trouble getting the holes to line up with one another. After trying for hours, I contacted Bed, Bath to start a return. Bed Bath then told me this was a marketplace seller & I had to contact them. This seller said they do not provide a label for return & I would need to pay for the shipping. The price the post office gave me was more expensive then I paid for the frame. The seller also said I couldn't use any other method for the return. They would not help me at all. Bed, Bath does not stand behind the products they allow to be sold on their website. I was very disappointed with their service. I bought the same product on Amazon from a different company. I had no problems putting it together, the quality & directions were much better. I had piece of mind knowing if their had been a problem I would have no problem returning with Amazon. read more

This Bed Bath & Beyond location is hanging on by a thread. I recently visited and the store was almost a shell of its glory days when there would be large end caps, displays and crowds of people. Now it seemed that there are more employees than customers, the shelves are disheveled, unkept and bare. The customer service is non existent and when asking for help, I get nothing meaningful. I have been to this location several times as I used to live close to here. If you haven't visited a BBB then you're living under a rock. There are so many items here in the store that you didn't know you needed. So yes, I needed a new paring knife but I did not need the egg cooker that you put in the microwave. I just thought my hubby would enjoy it and guess what, he did. I walked in to look around, and ended up buying several items. The shelves here were well stocked and neat. The isles were clear as well. I enjoyed seeing and browsing the "As Seen on TV" section of the store. My checkout experience was pleasant. The lady asked me if I had any coupons, which I didn't have on me so she directed me to put my phone number in so that they system could search for coupons. Came here this past weekend to get some new pillows and a couple other things that they carried in store which would be cheaper with the coupons! Some of the pillows we wanted were too high for us to reach and it was no issue for us to find someone working to immediately get them down for us. Then we went to another area of the store and were acknowledged by someone in that area to see if we needed any help and let us know that she was there to help if we did. All in all, a good experience at this location with great customer service. Made for a nice time of shopping! This is a pretty standard bed bath and beyond. We came here to return something we got as a gift that we didn't have a receipt for. Unfortunately, they just changed their return policy. They used to let you return things without a receipt and you would get 80% of the current item price as store credit. Now you have to have a receipt or credit card number to return. We were able to get the credit card number from the person that gave it to us, but it's a lot less convenient. The return process was slow and the manager had to be called multiple times. In the end we were able to exchange it which was good. The store is similar to other stores although it felt a little more cluttered. Is it just me, or does BB&B have the narrowest aisles in the world? Two shopping carts can't pass by each other - someone has to go around. This place is packed tight and from floor to high ceiling, it's a ton of stuff. Most of it, the sort of "Oh, that's clever!" kinds of gadgets and gewgaws that you never really knew that you desperately needed until you came in here. I found that I needed a slide-out tray for under my kitchen sink and I needed a rolling tray for the coffee maker so that I could push it under the cabinets when it wasn't in use. I wouldn't have thought I needed it, but now that we have them, we can't live without them! Also, towels and linens and bed stuff and more vacuums than you can shake a stick at. Holy crap, this place goes on and on and on! Tip for you shoppers... please go counter-clockwise as you peruse the aisles. One person going clockwise gunks up the whole experience! Been to a Bed Bath & Beyond? An amazing concentration of home stuff. Almost like a hoarder put it together as the aisles are narrow and the shelves so high that one cannot get to everything. And to a guy on a mission in this store that is well-known by women, it was daunting. My 99 year old dad got blood stains on his assisted living pillow. Apparently blood stains on bedding is a big no-no, especially if the state inspectors find them. So I got a call to replace his pillow, and to make certain that I got a waterproof cover along with a dark pillow case. I asked my wife where to go and she sent me to BB&B. I was blown away lost when I entered. Where do I start? Wandering around did not help much at all, though I did find the pillow area, at least one of them. But I was saved by Arion, an employee. I gave her my story and mission and she simply took over. Leading me to the pillow section she briefed me on what was what, along with the prices. We selected a pillow...good start. I had not noticed the number of additional pillow-related items that were there but Arion showed me different types of protective covers and one was waterproof and washable, and was not plastic. And it was relatively inexpensive. Then the hunt for dark pillow covers that were not expensive. I did not know how expensive bedding was and how many different brands and fabrics were available. We kept finding dark colors, but in the too-expensive category. Hum... Arion led me to another bedding section, which had things on sale and there she consulted with another wonderful employee: Val. Val had been working in BB&B for many years and she REALLY knew where things were, so off we went. We did find some dark pillow covers, but were still expensive. It was frustrating as these expensive covers were nested among others that had been marked-down. Val came through and scanned one that fit the bill and on the computer it way marked down. Bingo! I had what I needed. But now to get an additional protective cover and pillow case, which Val and Arion put together. After giving my profuse thanks to Val and Arion, I turned to make my way to the cashier and Arion came with me. Nice. And Arion is a very nice person anyway. Once up to the cashier, I was asked if I had a coupon. Coupon? Apparently BB&B continually offers discount coupons. Two women at the cashier line offered me their coupons for 20% off. I declined, saying that I did not want to have them lose their discounts and they both laughed. "Honey, most all women carry at least one BB&B coupon with them, just in case they need one." Incredible! Yes, I did, with loads of thanks, accept one of the coupons along with a lot of smiles. When I got home my wife told me that she had forgotten to give me a coupon. I told my story and she just smiled. After all, I'm just a guy on a mission into unknown woman's land. Bed Bath & Beyond is truly a great place, made doubly so through their knowledgeable, friendly and helpful employees. I am not afraid to go there any more. So I have been buying here for years, probably like most of you. I purchased an item with cash, lost my receipt. When I wanted to return the item I was told too bad you do not get store credit or anything. I understand losing my receipt I would not get my money back, typically every other retailer gives a store credit. Not this large corporation you get nothing. I will not support this company in the future as they do not do anything for their customers. Not too mention the last behind the register was very abrupt. I recently went to this location in search of ice cube trays and a few other kitchenware items. As usual the store was stocked full of merchandise with a lot of options and there were lots of choices. Parking was ample as this is a large anchor store in the center of a strip mall. While I was in the store I realized that I was early enough to pick up a birthday present for my daughter. I had seen a commercial advertising a particular flat iron and headed to the hair care section to pick it up. Upon arrival I did not see the desired product and there happened to be a clerk standing nearby. I asked the clerk for the product and he looked on the shelves the same as I did. The product was nowhere to be found. The clerk left the area and advised that he would check the stock on the computer and let me know if they had any in the back. He did that and came back to advise that the store does not have the item. To the best of his knowledge the store does not carry that item. It was confusing because I pulled up an Internet ad to show him what I had seen online as well as on the commercial. He had no answer. I left the store with out the product but a basket full of other items. I laughed because although they did not carry a hair tool, bed bath and beyond did not disappoint with all of the other wonderful things I was able to bring home. During my last visit, Kadijah and Mona both made it so easy to return an item (manufacturer's defect) and they did it with patience and kindness. Mona and Kadijah were very helpful and efficient. I went there with my husband to buy an iron. When we got home he noticed that the iron was used so we went there next day to change it. The staff was supper friendly and even gave us 20% on the new iron and apologized for the other one. In general I love this store, they have so many cute things for decoration. My house is mainly decorated with beach theme and they have so many options that I cannot find anywhere else. I could spend hours walking around the store checking their products. Not only do they have a really cordial staff that are willing to help you find the smaller items (like apple corers) and a reasonably priced card selection (pretty doesn't have to mean pretty expensive), they also WRAP the gifts for you! For FREE! This is such a timesaver... No more wandering around trying to gift wrap some bulky item or changing your initial gift selection because you can't find a bag to fit the one you really wanted to buy... It's simply the best... Back in the day I used to stroll through Bed Bath and Beyond and I usually walked out with something that I found that struck my fancy whether I needed it or not. I went today for the first time in a few years. All I could think about it how this place has changed from years ago. Let me first start off by saying that the reason I was there was to return a defective drink dispenser that upon the first use leaked mojitos all over my counter! As others have said the aisles are very narrow and not for the claustrophobic. The shelves are stocked with cheap, Made in China crap that doesn't seem of any quality whatsoever as evidenced by the drink dispenser. For a Sunday afternoon, they didn't have but 2 lines open and the people were snaked all throughout the front of the store. It was fine since I didn't wind up buying anything anyway. read more

I never shop at Bed, Bath & Beyond....However, I think every Bride has registered here. My advice....avoid scanning the little things (salt &pepper shaker, spoons etc..) makes it hard to search for. I couldn't find much home decor, for my registry. I settled for a few Cuisinart Electrics, and small Tool Gagets. This location is organized, I can't imagine the foot traffic on the weekends "madness" of course!! I had a few gift cards, so I decided to shop for towels, curtains and a few other items. Pattern options are Limited! Even the cloth napkins look dated. I had to settle for a basic white....there are very few solid colors. I have purchased several of the Mikasa "Cheers" wine collection over the past decade. Yesterday I went into this location to buy two wine glasses from the Cheers collection that I needed. When selecting the two glasses, I quickly realized that I couldn't remember which two I needed so I took a chance and grabbed two that I thought I needed. Purchased the two wine glasses at $7.50 a piece. Boom. No big deal. Until I got home and saw that I already had one of the two that I purchased. NO big deal...I'll just take the one glass that I got that is a duplicate and exchange it for the one that I need. They come in a set of 4 and all of them have a different design if you're not familiar. I walked in today...walked to the back where they were...selected the ONE that I needed and proceeded to the check out to process my exchange. This is where it went downhill..... I was the only one in line and 4 sales associates proceeded to look at me and not even signal that they were ready for me to approach the bench. They spoke in front of me to each OTHER.... "do you want to take her? who's on the clock...Lisa how about you take her since you're new and you've never done a return/exchange before. Ma'am that is a return/exchange right?" I stood there in shock. They just had a full blown conversation in my presence and didn't even acknowledge me until they decided who was going to 'deal' with my exchange. Rude. The new girl got the luck of the draw and she proceeded to help me....until they couldn't find the glass that I wanted in the system. Oh...that's because it was a part of A SET and they couldn't sell it to me as a single wine glass. WHAT?! So yesterday I could purchase a single wine glass from the set of four...but today I can't. Their reason? " Well ma'am...the one you bought yesterday was not part of a set because the other 2 or 3 were broke so it's not a apart of a complete set. This one that you want is just a display and it has all of the other three in tact so we can't sell it as a single. Does that make sense?" My response...No. That doesn't make sense. Bascially if you break or lose or eat (I dunno) one of the set, you basically have to buy an entire set in replacement. That doesn't make sense. I voiced that it didn't make sense. "well ma'am it's Mikasa...you can order singles online" No you can't.....not from Bed Bath and I got this sent from Bed Bath so you're telling me that if I am missing one from the set, I have to go to MIkasa to get a single and you therefore don't want my money?? And you lose out on the sale??" Even the guy behind me was like "good point". They all looked at me in wonder and hesitated, danced around the answer and basically didn't want my stupid $10. So...I return the duplicate wine glass that I had and told them that I'll happily never return to Bed Bath (like they care) because they obviously didn't care about providing a solution to the problem. So lesson learned: If you purchase a set of wine glasses from Bed Bath and you need a replacement, you can't purchase it as a single glass. You're better off going to the manufacturer. I purchased a set of EIGHT from the Mikasas website. I didn't need 8, but their sets were cheaper and for 8 was only $20 more than a set of 4 at Bed Bath. Never again will I set foot in this location. I'll drive to Matthews where they are nicer. read more

Even if you are looking for great finds from candles to frames and blowdryers to brushes, this is the place. Not only do they have a large selection, they have great deals and coupons, that arrive daily in everyone's mailbox, to give you even better deals..and they never expire. And, customer service is top notch. I was recently is search for a Feather Bed. After having visited a few other stores with no luck, someone recommended BB&B. Not living close to one I called and spoke to the Manager. She is turn placed me on hold and was able to confirm she had what I was looking for a pulled it for me. I told her I would be there wihting the hour. Upon arrival it was there and not only did they tell me about the product they helped me sheets and mattress pad questions I had. This is a Bed Bath and Beyond. It probably doesn't need explaining. The reason I write this review, is because, consistently, I've had great customer service at this location. My husband and I registered here for our wedding, so we've been in store many, many times. Each visit, we're helped immediately, and if something can't be found someone offers to find it for us online or have it ordered. Example: Today we had to return a fan and clothes steamer that broke. We didn't have the receipt for the steamer, but were still able to get store credit for an exchange. The fan we wanted wasn't in store, because it's a seasonal item. Not only did a woman help us find what was in stock, she offered to order us a fan BB&B had online. Another associate helped her go through the stockroom to find the few fans available. I also think they're friendly when it comes to their customer service. Unlike Lowes Home Improvement, where sometimes you have to practically hunt someone down to get a little help. There's nothing extraordinary about this store's contents, location, situation, etc. that warrants anything more than 3 stars...EXCEPT....their personnel. I debated whether or not I should give this location 4 stars. Then I vividly remembered how HELPFUL the staff always are....the "can I help you find someting", etc. THAT is what gives this place 4 stars! With SO much competition in our world of retail, to me it's the Customer Service that tends to set places apart. Ok, so every BB&B is pretty much the same but this location isn't too horrible of a suburban hot spot like I expected. It's in a good location since you have a Target, World Market, Ross and Kohl's in the same center however they definitely need more people working on a Saturday. I walked in there right before noon on Saturday and when I did, I instantly regretted it since there was a mob of people waiting at customer service and in line for the cashier while a manager ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I would have walked out and come back but I was on a mission to find a wedding gift for a couple who is registered there. I like the registry has pretty much any item under the sun and you can decide what kind of gift you're going to get the couple. Towels that say "Hey I like you and know you, hope you stay clean the duration of your marriage" or down comforters that say "Hey I really love you and want to drop 200 bones on you in hopes that you stay warm" Staff was friendly though for being so swamped, they pointed me in the right direction and I even got my gift wrapped for free. With it being Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend, we expected a lot of traffic, chaos and limited accessibility in the store. However, everything was organized and it was smooth sailing. Customer support has really tried to get this Wilson, NC store to act right and take responsibility but there is no excuse for a manager and her associates to be as mean and as rude as they have been. I was really surprised at how rude the manager here was about simply asking for information on a product. I asked for a simple apology and while I had a voicemail left asking about "your incident" from an unrelated person I never received a simple "I'm sorry" from anyone at this store. I stopped by your store today, already extremely annoyed because i had to bring back two soda streams to be refilled. One was used and the other was new, but upon opening it, realized it was totally empty. When we bought the refills a few weeks ago, we did not notice that one was empty, it had a plastic wrap on it and was completely sealed. Upon opening it last night and putting it in the soda stream, it had absolutely nothing in it. I already felt very annoyed that we had to make the extra trip, the whole reason for buying two was so we could stretch the trips father apart. I walked in and told the cashier i needed to replace both my soda streams but that one of them was "new" and sealed but we opened it last night and it was completely void of CO2. The nice older gentlemen was nice as could be but the lady beside him started shaking her head and putting her hands up like "what do you want us to do about it?" Literally ‍ that was her the entire time. then made a snarky comment "anyone could say that". Basically accusing me of lying to get a $12 CO2 refill for free. Then I asked "how do i know that these ones are actually filled?" She makes another snide remark " you can tell because they will be heavy, people can tell before they buy them". Now shes basically called me stupid. Well obviously people cant tell, people just assume bed bath and beyond are selling a filled CO2 soda stream refill. I did not hear any apologies from anyone at the store about having to make the 25 minute trip from tega cay, SC to replace the item that was defective from their store in the first place. I left their feeling like i was accused of being a stupid thief. I even offered to discuss with the manager after the lady completely humiliated me in the long line of people. Its a shame that i was treated like that in your store. However, the older gentlemen was very kind to me. I think his name was john. Went to this store on Tuesday April 28th to pick up an online order. The sales guy at the checkout counter struggled to pack the plates i ordered. I asked for a box and the sales woman Cindie next to him told him to say that there were no boxes. He then pointed to the self service gift wrapping place for boxes. I noticed the boxes were flat and not put together. The sign stated to ask a store associate for help. Another customer too needed help so we asked for assistance. The same sales person Cindie came and appeared in a foul mood. I asked her to please help me put the box together. She told me in a loud angry demeaning voice"You can do it, dont short change yourself". I felt so degraded and left the store. I spent $80 that day and this was the thanks I got from this employee named Cindie. I will never go to this store nor recommend it to my family and friends. read more

My fiancé and I made a wedding registry appointment with the South Boulevard, Charlotte Bed, Bath, & Beyond location at the glowing recommendation of one of my coworkers. When we got there we waited 15 minutes past the appointment time at the registry desk and finally had to ask customer service to page the employee we made the appointment with. When he finally got over there he was already working with another couple so he handed us off to an assistant manager, who took another 10 minutes to get over to us. He was very polite and tried to be accommodating but we later found out he had only just been transferred to that store location and didn't know where everything was located yet. He helped us find the dishware we wanted to register for, showed us how to use the scanner, and then left to let us go through the store and find things ourselves. This would have been fine except when we made the appointment the person told us he would take us through store and help us through the registry process. The person we made the appointment with never came to check on us once he finished with the couple he had been working with, he started working with a different couple. I hope they were given better service than we were. When we finished scanning our items and the assistant manager was paged to finish us up and was busy so we were put with the person we were supposed to have originally. He put our items into the computer and explained to us that there had been seven couples in to register that day and that's why they were so busy. When I asked if they all had appointments he said there were only two, with us being one of those. He then suggested that we make an appointment if we needed anything as we left. Why would we bother if the people who walk in for registering get the same, if not better, service than the ones that supposedly reserved the time and services of full week prior? It made for a stressful long afternoon and I would never suggest to any friends or coworkers that they try and deal with the registration process at that location. read more
