Anyway, Noel and Yerlin were the young men that delivered the freezer. They removed, cleaned up and took all the bulky packing materials so I would not have to deal with it. They made sure the freezer worked when plugged in. They removed all the tape from the door, and gave me the keys and owners manual before leaving. This attention to detail was particularly meaningful to me, as I am elderly and had recent surgery and would have been unable to do the things these young men did, especially managing the oversized cardboard. In my opinion, these gentlemen went above and beyond. Our expectations were exceeded with both the product and the delivery.

Because of her experience as an interior decorator, I really valued her insights. On installation day, I was truly impressed by Jake, Carlos, and the team. They worked tirelessly to remove the old countertops and backsplash and to ensure the heavy new countertops were perfectly aligned and level. I had no idea how physically demanding this work could be. The next day, during backsplash installation, the same praise goes to Patrick, Frank, Eddie, and Austin. They spent hours bending over the counters, meticulously cutting, placing, and grouting ceramic tiles on four walls. That has to be backbreaking, especially for someone as tall as Frank! Gary was ready to walk out of the store. I kind of wish we had. We ordered the GE Profile 4 door French Door fridge. We explained in detail the amount of space we had where the fridge would go, and that there was a wall immediately on the left side of the fridge. Rich said yes, it will fit. What he didn't bother telling us was that once it was in place, we wouldn't be able to open the left door because this was not a zero clearance door. We needed an extra 10" to fully open the doors. Again, he didn't bother with explaining that part. I think he was more worried about his commission check. We are highly disappointed with him, but love the fridge. We are going to try and go to great lengths and expense, tear out cabinets, shorten countertop, to make this work. A good salesperson would have listened and explained about the doors needing that space. We hadn't bought a refrigerator in 20 years! The GE Profile is a very great refrigerator (with the exception of slow ice maker and small ice bin), and the price was good, but Rich needs to hone his sales skills. I spoke with a woman on the other end, and though she was as sweet as a peach in August, she was possessed of a curious sort of amnesia when it came to the matter of cost. I asked her plain as day what a fella might expect to part with for a new shower, just a whisper of a range, mind you, for I did not know if I was looking at a few dollars or a king's ransom. She could not, or would not, utter a single figure. Now, if a man pulls into a filling station and the proprietor refuses to tell him the price of a gallon of gasoline, he knows well enough to keep his hand on his wallet and his foot on the pedal. This business in Riverside is shrouded in a mist of their own making, and I feel a duty to warn my neighbors that this is a shady operation, the kind that plays hide-and-seek with the truth while they chase your signature. It is high time Meta looked at the company they keep and stopped giving a platform to such questionable dealings, and I say to West Shore Home that they ought to find a more honorable way to make their bread than this game of smoke and mirrors.
