I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for on their website so I called & explained that I wanted a standard bouquet with all red flowers (but no carnations as my grandmother hates them ) & lots of green foliage. The bouquet was enormous & simply stunning. They even sent it the very same day, just hours after I placed the order. It really cheered my grandmother up & the nurses all gushed over it. The composition of the bouquet is perfect and is perhaps one of the most beautiful I have ever received. It was packaged spectacularly and each layer got more impressive. The outer very attractive wrapping was carefully draped around the stems with an impressive bow at the base. The stems were wrapped in a sponge like water retentive packaging which would have allowed me to leave the flowers unattended to for some time. The stems were appropriately cut at an angle to best take in water and last longer. I hope I have the opportunity to use Lush Flowers to make someone's day. The shop is well named.

I chose Sandy to do the paper flowers for my wedding (yes, I know it's not just my wedding but for simplicity sake I'm keeping it to to 'my wedding'). I told her what colors I'd like to see, gave her some inspiration as well as flower preferences/price I can afford. BLAM! Sandy came up with a really great plan with plenty of details that I could vision the whole spread in my head. Sandy remained in communication while the flowers were being created and was flexible when I needed her to add on a few items that I initially forgot. The flowers arrived safely in a box (despite UPS putting a hole in it) with care instructions. Her creations were BEAUTIFUL and flawless! Plus she made a very special flower for me and it was AWESOME. Many people thought the flowers were real until they took a closer look and hahaha, they were delightfully fooled. :) The best thing: I can still look at the centerpiece I kept. The good things: The delivery person called and gave an estimate of the delivery time. I had requested a picture showing proof the flowers made it to the recipient's address. This, while likely not easy to do, was provided and the picture sent to my email since the phone number I used is my home line and can't receive texts. I requested this because I didn't expect the recipient to be home but she was. The bouquet REALLY resembled the one I ordered. Same color profile, arrangement very similar - just all around it was so nice to actually get what was ordered. It's a splurge to spend $100 on flowers but I don't regret one cent of this purchase.

One problem is the inconsistency in the food. I've been there for tea. The desserts were good, but the bread on the sandwiches was dry. Last night, I ordered coconut cream pie and it was still frozen. At Bingo last night, they played music, loudly, between ever number that was called. It affected the sound system and made the numbers difficult to hear. At one point the music was turned down and the song played softly in the background. That was perfect.
