Service was good and the lady on the phone was very kind and helpful. I ordered flowers for my in-laws for a funeral and thought $75 would have been enough to get a decent flower arrangement. It was supposed to be medium to large and I would say it was tiny. I can go to Sam's or Costco and get flowers for $20 the size that showed up. I was very disappointed as they were of course the smallest ones there. I would not order here again, especially for a total amount including delivery of $98. You can't blame everything on supply chain, as I have bought flowers that size recently and they were not $75 flowers. Yes it's Valentine's and Whole Foods has 24 roses for $20, maybe you should get some. read more

What can I say? I rarely give a perfect rating unless it is truly deserved. I have dealt with many florists, and, I have to say, this has been THE best in every aspect; because I ordered the arrangement without the vase they made it right when I was picking it up so the flowers would remain fresh until the recipient put them in a vase and water, the flowers were beyond beautiful, and their aroma was unbelievable (in a good way)! The recipient honestly cried when I gave it to her, and both of us received SO many compliments! I didn't hesitate to give out the name and number of Mary Lou's to all who asked (and there were many)! Great job to Mary Lou's Florist and all of the workers. Always worried when you have to send flowers to another state without knowing which florist to choose. I was so pleased with my whole experience with Mary Lou's. I found an arrangement I liked online & called Mary Lou's to order. The woman taking my order was very very sweet and explained thoroughly what she would do for me. After we discussed details & I hung up, I then had to just hope my arrangement would be worth the money. The picture I received from my family member of the arrangement was absolutely beautiful. Used this florist for the first time and will never use again. I specifically said to deliver a certain time and they never did. I told lady the business closes at 2.she still asks" what business closes at 2?"I said whats the point on asking for instructions if not going to follow them?.she said she could still deliver to home. How this place stays in business is a miracle! I called them directly at lunchtime for a birthday delivery at the hospital across the street. They couldn't pull it off without multiple calls back to me. They had the name of the recipient wrong--the address wrong--her phone# wrong. They called back and said they'd try again tomorrow. I said I wanted a refund then. They tried harder. In the end, it got there, but without the mylar balloon I ordered. Now, I have to call them again. Do yourself a favor, pick another local shop in this area. read more

I will admit - I'm a picky flower person....I've worked in four different shops over the course of the years, so I worry when I have to order them long distance. I called at noon on a Saturday, never expecting that most shops in that area close at 2 or even at noon. I tried one shop before calling Mary Lou's...they couldn't deliver cuz the truck had already left for that area. Which was my bonus...cuz then I called Mary Lou's. Yes, they could deliver (to the hospital nearby) and had just the flowers I wanted for the bouquet I had seen on their web site. They were delivered by 2:30 and our daughter-in-law sent a picture of them after she stopped crying....they were GORGEOUS!! Just what we wanted....price was right...and delivered in time.
