Needed a new mattress due to back problems. We were looking for an extra firm hybrid mattress. Matt explained the differences in the hybrids and showed us a mattress that while not marketed as a hybrid had the same type of construction. It was exactly what we were looking for. He gave us a great price for the mattress and the frame. It was delivered the next day and setup. Back when I contacted bed pro different manager now. Gave $500 to-spend. I paid $1000. Said included free gifts whI have I didn't need but said free lie. Didn't know I was charged. As I said senior citizens over 80. Also limited selection for $500. Which saw for way less. I can only speak to living room furniture, thankfully I did not opt to furnish my whole house with them, but my sofa and chair are only a year old and they look terrible! Worst of all, it is so uncomfortable to sit on the sleeper side of the sectional because of how it tilts backward. Customer Service is polite but the corporation does not care that you're $8000 couch is poorly designed. Also just have to warn that the "designer" on staff at this Citrus Park location gave poor recommendations for pet friendly material..even the Ethan Allen service gentleman who came to my house said this is not a material that should have been recommended for high use and/or for pets. It's just a been a pricey and extremely disappointing experience all the way around. My daughter bought $400 sleeper sofa from Ashley furniture around the same time I bought this one and hers looks new still and is extremely comfortable and holds it shape. Typically I'm a "you get what you pay for" type of person and I'll happily pay more for good quality. Ethan Allen has not fit that criteria for us.

Premier Mattress Direct

Have you ever tried your hardest to find any and all possible reasons not to buy something simply…read moredue to the industry as a whole having a shady reputation? That's what I failed to do with Premier Mattress direct in Palm Harbor, even though I really really tried. I won't buy a face cream without researching extensively peer reviewed scientific studies on the ingredients. I'm a data nerd - I use my science degree way more in my personal life than professional life. I didn't want to leave my house and drive 5 minutes to a brick and mortar store because my entire shopping history is internet except on vacation - and I work from home so need a good reason to leave. I couldn't sleep. I was exhausted and hurting from side sleeping in my forties on a bed that was too hard and too old and way to freaking hot while living in Florida. I realized that I needed a solution fast but got analysis paralysis online and feared I'd end up With another piece of crap off the app we all order from. My breaking point was coming home from an Airbnb vaca where i slept through the night...every night...for every day in the week for the first time in many many years. The worst part was that the Airbnb bed wasn't even that good and should have been replaced long ago. After getting home and starting the pattern of not sleeping again, I needed to do something different. I am in consultative sales which makes me the worst person to ever try to sell to because I see through it, I'm suspicious and a detective of manipulation and a "Karen" when I want to be. When a business does me dirty I perform what my family knows as my digital reign of terror - posting my opinion with proof everywhere if a business makes no attempt to resolve it. I went to Premier mattress direct with extensive knowledge and distrust of the mattress industry. I didn't care for the strip plaza it's located in but since there was one stellar breakfast spot I had been to that is always packed, I went in. No one tried to sell me anything. There is such a different feeling when a person is genuinely helpful versus a slimy lying sales rep. I ordered a very nice mattress and was educated on the benefits of hand tufted compared to bed in a box. There's pros and cons end really subjective to the individual. The next day I woke up and put on my fraud detection hat for work as I do every day and after seeing some old complaints across 6 BBB pages for the manufacturer (not for Premier mattress direct) then I second guessed my purchase. When I called to cancel, Dylan was nice and polite and said no problem without objection but invited me back to test alternatives because I really was losing it from lack of sleep. That night the part owner was there. He went above and beyond explaining his concern for how I felt and put me on the phone with the manufacturer who explained they they no longer had affiliates due to lack of quality control and that's why they only have one centralized headquarters now: he gave me his cell phone number as was displayed on the screen of the store owners cell phone I was talking on. He did this even after I told him about my reign of terror and that I had free legal services from my job. Then the part owner spent a lot of time showing me less expensive options and after two hours - my intuition and experience concluded that shockingly...these people were genuinely trying to just help me get a good nights sleep. I've never been more impressed or happier with a purchase and I'm the most skeptical person on earth that didn't want to believe good ethical business people still existed. I've never written such a long review but go ahead and walk inside premier mattress direct and tell me that you don't end up thinking that stores like this beating out big box stores wouldn't end up creating a better world for everyone.
