I recall that these kids really helped each other work through things to problem solve leading up to kindergarten. The school is not just a school or daycare, but a little community. We are still friends with families we crossed paths with until this day. And in fact, we still go back to visit because my daughter had such a positive experience in her 3 years here! Community-wise, Annie really creates that for the families. Every year, there's an annual apple picking event for all the families. There are also family playdates after the day is over, and I recall we even went to the zoo one year. We miss our time here, but I'm forever grateful to have found WSDC. I never doubted for a second that our daughter was in safe hands.

I cannot say enough of great things about this location of BH! My 3 year old daughter absolutely thrived in this school! The teachers are very well trained and educated in their jobs, and give a lot of individual attention to kids. Mine is sometimes a dare-devil, sometimes is defiant and stubborn, sometimes sweet and energetic, and they find the way and approach to deal with all her moods. Yoshanna (preschool lead teacher) is especially good at her job. Not only that she fosters good habits and behaviors in kids, she knows how to channel their (otherwise annoying) personality traits into a productive and useful actions and uses those for a healthy kids development. For example, my kid loves to talk and sort of argue why she should or shouldn't do something, like nap. I find it frustrating that she won't nap, but Yoshanna is very patient and while she still works towards the goal of having my kid to nap, she appreciates my kid's brain working ability to "reason" in her own way. Ally is another wonderful and patient teacher. Kids just gravitate to her. She is young, but very knowledgeable and experienced care giver and very, very good with kids. When my kid has a hard time, Ally comes to the rescue. Other teachers come and go, and there are a lot of shared staff between the groups. But I have learned to trust the directors, because they seem very dedicated and experienced. Betty, Stacy and Jane, these ladies know what they are doing! They are always available for any concerns or advice, or just a chat, and it is very comforting to see that they will stop whatever they are doing to hear you out. It has been very re-assuring support for me as a parent. I highly recommend this school, and I know a lot of parents who feel like this center is a big extended family, myself included!

During those 8 years, the school maintained its main focus - teaching children to develop strong relationships with their peers and teachers. Both my children are now in elementary school and are still close with their BNS friends. The BNS teachers teach children how to be a part of a group, how to express themselves, share, compromise, play, and learn joyfully together. Sure, you'll find schools with fancier facilities, bigger playgrounds, and more "rigorous" academics, but BNS' focus on friendship and play is refreshing, age-appropriate, and long-lasting. These social-emotional skills is what has allowed both my children to flourish academically in elementary school. The staff is professional and approachable, caring and good-humored. Not only do my kids miss their BNS days, but I miss them too!

The teachers there are amazing the class sizes are small and especially during the pandemic their cleanliness standards are through the roof. Love the diversity, love the other families, love that we can walk there. Next Gen staff clearly care about the families, the community, and each other. The center is clean, the staff fun, and the Directors responsible and experienced. They hold everyone to high standards of care. Sadly, this is the complete opposite of our previous center. Though we have only interacted with some teachers (starting at 4 means we skipped a few classes!), all have been wonderful. My daughter is getting ready for Kindergarten, made fantastic friends, and regularly makes cards for her teachers (just because she adores them). I no longer stress about the care she is receiving, if she will be behind in school, or if the teachers are treated well (phew!). I will note the cost is higher and the hours more limited (close earlier) than our other center. Thankfully, we were able to manage both; totally worth it!

Rather than remove this child from the program, the biter continues to threaten our kid and others. Indeed, the ultimate solution has been to move our daughter (2) back to the baby room. They have been unable to manage the situation using arbitrary and loose protocols, ineffective shadowing, etc. It has been a chain of poor management from the site direct to the regional director to the CEO. No communication or coordination between anyone. This is basically toddler bullying and they have a weak and vague policy that favors the biter. The end solution was recommends of other daycare centers for our daughter, the non biter. We have had better experiences working the cable company than little sprouts. You pay a lot for this program with expectations that leaders will dismiss disruptive kids in favor of learners with adequate behaviors. This was just not our experience in the least. It is terrible to drop your child off knowing she's not protected and signing another incident report and nursing bite marks that leave bruises.

Her social and language skills are rapidly growing by the day, a testament to the curriculum provided by Little Sprouts. The main drawback is, as another reviewer mentioned, the lack of parking at the facility (which has been numerous other things such as a cell phone store and a bank!) that can make picking up/dropping off at peak times difficult. My husband and I are pleased overall with the experience we have had there, and we intend to keep our child enrolled until she is ready for kindergarten.
