As doctors in general go, he's the best I've met in Bedford over the past few years since moving here. We need a hundred more just like him in other specialties. Shouldn't have to travel to a large metropolis just to find great care. In the past, some old Boomer dentists have given me grief for being a nervous pt. Not Dr Weiss nor his staff. All were very understanding, helpful, and professional. They use all the modern techniques, whereas some dentists in the past were nothing but brutal cavemen!! He takes his time to explain and answer questions and this alone helps so much with "dental anxiety". They even have a great game plan to deal with Covid-19 and that was a big concern for me as well. They stick with protocol and enforce it. Additionally, he's not the type of dentist who'll just tell you to grin and bear the pain or to just "get over it". He's proactive as all Drs and staff should be. He's laid back and has an actual personality and sense of humor. I've had several appointments so far at Atrium and many more to go. I'm glad to have found him and his staff in this tiny backwoods town. Never knew this level of service was available in Bedford. Keep up the great work guys. You rock!! My only real issue is the third party payment plan he uses. They ppl I spoke with on the phone weren't very helpful and the overall service from that company SUCKS. And they lost out on quite a bit of money (and future money) from me. I went with a completely different direction because of the lack of support to my very basic questions and needs. The entire experience, from the welcoming attitude of the staff to the confidence you have upon departure, is nothing but positive. I have been seeing Dr. Edwards for several months now and have NEVER had to wait longer than a few minutes to be called back to the treatment rooms -- usually I walk in, say hello, and am told I can head directly back. Why can't more doctor offices run like this?? Dr. Edwards has a very professional demeanor but he is also quite warm and friendly. He is gentle with his patients and does a wonderful job of explaining what the issues are and how he plans to treat them. He's really good about answering questions and responding to patient concerns. There's never a doubt that one is in good hands here.
