I visited Dr…read more Dukes in August of 2021 for back pain from a prior accident, seeking x rays and a diagnosis. Initially, Dr. Dukes was very friendly and we started to go over my prior medical history before we went over the x ray results. She asked me a question regarding the Covid-19 vaccine, which I have not received. When Dr. Dukes became aware of me being unvaccinated, she got up, opened the door, and stood in the hallway. Her friendly personality did a 180 and she began to bash me, saying "You're the reason why so many people are dying", "its all because of people like you", "I will not sign you up for in person therapy since you are unvaccinated" and much more. Keep in mind that we were both wearing n95 masks the entire time. After arguing through the doorway for a few minutes, she closed the door and sent in an assistant to reschedule the meeting via Zoom. I declined and made my out of the office. This was, by far, the least professional interaction I've had with anyone in my life. Would never recommend anyone to Dr. Heather Dukes or her office.

He's an osteopath and has an excellent approach which combines medical knowledge and common sense. He explains things clearly and simply, and is funny to boot. He also considers whether medication is really needed, and how strong it should be given the specific circumstances, as opposed to pushing medication strongly. His nurses are lovely as are the front of house staff. Even changes in insurance are fairly smooth. The facility is always clean, quiet and never seems to be in a state of chaos (which I can't say for most other doctors offices I've visited over the years). When I come here I am a person, not a slot filling up time in his calendar. Thanks for treating me with respect and kindness and helping me to get better Dr. Knabel!

My hunt for a family doctor started in Lexington, but I couldn't find a solid physician who was…read moreboth taking new patients AND had availability in less than 1-2 months. Since I travel to Louisville with moderate frequency, it's no problem to have a doc there. Wait time for new patients was 2 weeks, below average of other places I called. The main thing is that Dr Gilberts took her time and didn't rush me out. We had engaging conversation and she easily established trust. It was frankly the first time I did NOT feel like another faceless copayment. I felt human and like she genuinely cared about the outcome of my health. Needless to say I highly recommend Dr Gilberts and I am excited to have finally located a doctor that understands me. All other neurotic hypochondriac entrepreneurs and professionals will feel right at home, just like me :)

This provider is the rudest 'doctor' I have ever had the burden of being around. She is mean,…read morehateful, accuses you of contracting/carrying contagious diseases/infections, and sadly the list continues. I could have died or became paralyzed had I listened to her. I truthfully wouldn't be here if I didn't get an immediate second opinion from a doctor who had great compassion. I don't think I caught Miss Smart on a bad day. All my encounters with this woman were all very terrible. Shame on me for giving out chances because this chance almost lost me my ability to walk or dying. I just don't understand why people stay in a field if they dislike their employment duties so much... At least that's how she made me feel. Sorry for being so honest, but please do research before you choose this provider. You won't last a minute if you're the slightest bit sensitive or have a vulnerable personality. I didn't even want to give 1 star.
