Every single employee went above and beyond, especially Juanita, Erica, and Ralph. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. One moment that really stood out: I called the front desk but my room phone wasn't working. Instead of ignoring it, Ralph actually came to my door to see how he could help and noticed the phone issue himself. That level of attentiveness and follow-through is rare and greatly appreciated. The hotel is extremely clean, and the breakfast was amazing, it was fresh, well-stocked, and far better than expected. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and have stayed in some of the best hotels around the world, and honestly, the level of service and cleanliness here has been outstanding. They are currently doing renovations, but it has not been disruptive at all. If anything, it shows they're investing in making the property even better. I will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

We show up and check in and are informed that we have to sign a service dog loss of revenue form. Which is legal. I let the lady at the desk I believe her name was Juanita know that this is not legal. My husband wanted me to make a complaint so I called customer service. The gentleman i spoke to confirmed that I should not have had to sign a loss of revenue form and that the general manager at that location would reach out to me. We waited and never heard from anybody. The next morning we are getting ready to check out and the general manager is still not there so we wait a few more hours. Finally at around 9am I go to the desk again and ask for the manager. She comes out and says shes been busy and apologizes for all the issues and says she will give us "points" we had already canceled out reservation for our return trip the following week because of how embarrassed my husband was. I was informed by the gentleman when I had called customer service to call back if the manager hadn't rectified, but when I called customer service again I was told that they decided to side with the general manager even though she was not even at the hotel the entire time we were there. We will definitely not be staying with holiday inn again since we had such a bad experience. Its horrible that IHG would allow a manager to discriminate towards service dogs that are medical needed.

They didn't send me an email as to why, nor did they give me a reason why in person or offer to let me make a new reservation. The lady I spoke to was incredibly rude and gave me an attitude right off the bat, she even walked away as I was talking to her. She was like this for our entire interaction. She didn't offer a refund, and when I asked for one, said she couldn't issue it. I contacted the third party app to resolve the issue for me, and they told me the hotel was now refusing to speak to them as well to avoid having to refund me. Worst experience I've had with a hotel, wouldn't waste my time with this business. They're unprofessional, rude dishonest, and thieves, trying at all costs to avoid giving me my money back. I would give this hotel 0 stars if I could.

Upon making the reservation, we received many texts with links pushing us to "get discount", "save big, by clinking on a link and pay with a credit card. When we arrived at this hotel, there was no one manning the office and when we call the local phone number that we had called initially, the person on the other line stated that our "reservation #" could not be located...it all seemed very much like a scam! Sooo...BEWARE!

The place is old they say they are making improvements but I don't know. Even the simple task of cleaning, they can't do that. Staff are not friendly at all and into their own thing. Heater has the old style window/wall unit and so old I guess this is what you get when you try to go cheap. So pulled up the sheets and the sheets are dirty!! Go anyplace else but here, this should only be last resort. You tell front desk and he looks at you like deer in the headlights The breakfast is a granola bar. lol. Yeah this place is ghetto!! So I paid the room and there is an extra $5.19 from here billed to my card. When I called they say they for forgot to charge state tax. If you forget tax that is your problem not mine.

In addition to that, the lovely woman who checked me in at the front was very sweet, great customer service and accommodated me by remedying the issue. I had come for a one night stay and when I was heading towards my room, there was paint peeling off the wall and what it looked like was water damage on the tiles above, located on the ceiling. That was worrisome but when I went into this particular room, the light switches were damaged (I neglected to photo them), the door was not secure in the frame, the hinge that helped hold the door in place had screws coming out and the lock had missing screws while being loose. Honestly, it looked like someone tried to break into the room. I am shocked that they would rent it out to someone without repairing all of those things, let alone fix the hallway. I took photos to show the front desk lady and I mentioned that I did not feel safe. She immediately changed my room without an issue. I am not sure I would stay the night there again to be honest. Again, the front desk gal was super kind but the rooms, I wasn't too thrilled with.

I don't like carpet in a room where a lot of people have stayed. Hard floors are much cleaner. Breakfast was a disappointment. We are planning to stop at a McDonald's. If saving money by not having to buy breakfast is important to you, they do have enough items to feed the family. There's several breads, including bagels. There's also yogurt, hard boiled eggs, waffles, and biscuits and gravy. I tried a biscuit and gravy but didn't eat it. The biscuits wasn't warm and appeared to be already prepared. The gravy was ok but couldn't compensate for a cold biscuit. I didn't see any cereal. We were happy they had a hot tub. My husband is having back problems and the hot tub after a long drive was most helpful. That alone will bring us back.
