The premises are very clean, a point demonstrated by the countless food hygience certificates on the walls. The only downside is that during busy periods, waiting times can be a bit on the long side as there are often delays waiting for chips to cook. I've lived away from Nuneaton for quite some time now, but when I come back to visit I always make sure I go to Toppers with my Mum. Some of the staff have been there for years and are always nice and friendly when I go in. I love the gravy in there.. it's just the best on their chips! Prices are reasonable and if you like your fish cooked/battered in a certain way the staff are happy to do it how you like.
