The premises are very clean, a point demonstrated by the countless food hygience certificates on the walls. The only downside is that during busy periods, waiting times can be a bit on the long side as there are often delays waiting for chips to cook. I called Chris', explained the situation and asked if they would deliver, which they advertise on their website. The girl initially said yes but then had to ask the delivery driver who said loud enough for me to hear "haha nah that ain't worth the petrol", even though I was happy to pay extra. Thought they were a nice bunch but feel really disappointed - I know they have to cover costs but we've spent a fortune with them and I really could've done with a hand...just can't find friendly businesses anymore.

I LOVE TOPPERS!!…read more Toppers is a Nuneaton institution, I've been going there since I was in a buggy. I've lived away from Nuneaton for quite some time now, but when I come back to visit I always make sure I go to Toppers with my Mum. Some of the staff have been there for years and are always nice and friendly when I go in. I love the gravy in there.. it's just the best on their chips! Prices are reasonable and if you like your fish cooked/battered in a certain way the staff are happy to do it how you like.
