Let me give you some background, first businesses like this are used to dealing with a certain demographic. Need I say more? Well i am not that demographic. I make more money than every person in that place combined but I have a house with a lot of empty space and I am having 9 people to my home for the holidays so I was renting extra beds and living room furniture so my guests would have someplace to sleep and sit in my empty nest that me and my wife now share. Told them we needed the furniture just for a week, no problem they said. gave us this insulting application asking for 4 references, the day of the week I was paid, when was the last time I was paid, etc. Ok I understand, their demographic customer rents furniture. They take my application go into a back room AND START CALLING MY REFERENCES!!! Now my friends and family think I have fallen on hard times and need to rent furniture!! Hysterical!! AFTER they call a few they say, I see here you want to rent for a week, we can only rent for two weeks. We offered to pay a little more, offered to pay for delivery. NO FLEXIBILITY, take it or leave it, after they told us a week would be fine. Had to get a copy of a paycheck, a drivers license, references, etc. Totally wasted our time. I guess its ok to waste our time, we are criminals after all!! I hope you never need to rent furniture but if you do, Rent A Center is not the place to go if you want to be treated like a human.

Prices were competitive and reasonable. This location includes a built-in Starbucks so you can stop for a pick-me-up too.

So when we plotted a visit to the former, we knew we wanted to visit the latter. As it turns out, this is technically a "booth" for Irondale Pickers. But it is full store sized, they have their own store front, and their own POS system. So I am going to treat them like a real store and give them a review. You have probably seen my review of other closeout stores. They are very often hit or miss with items and sometimes the products seem old or dirty. This place feels like they strictly get overstock and everything is new and in the package. After talking to the owners, they get majority of their stuff from Home Depot... which is the kind of stuff I like buying!! But they also get some from other stores too. So it isn't all Home Improvement. My wife bought a pairs of H&M towels for $1 a piece! They didn't have anything tool wise that I am in the market for. But you can bet that I will be back frequently to see when they do. I'm a little sad to write this review and let other people in on the secret. But I also want this to stick around so I can get years of tools at a great price! Awesome little spot to visit.

All of the employees up front engaged in the conversation infornt of many paying customers and I noticed the employee working the first register near the store entrance December 6th at 12. AM called a customer a ho because she left a bag of groceries by accident at the counter where we all visited because her cash register was the only one open, and I will no longer shop at this store location because they do not appreciate or value there paying customers. Not happy customer's should never go into this location ofdollars tree stores and hopefully they will close this store location or fire all those unruly employees who don't apprentice dollar tree paying customers.

The lady told me they only exchange not return items. I was disappointed but since I pick up small token gifts from there anyway I could make it work. I was the last customer in the store and the transaction got complicated. The manager and another employee were so helpful, nice and keep a pleasant tone. Then I couldn't find my keys. The guard found them on the shelves I was on. They all were outstanding and I left happy. If only this was the normal for stores rather than rare. This is now my favorite store. Kudos to all three of them.

I was looking for a rug pad and found only carpet padding and nothing big enough for what I needed. Nobody really offered to help me either.
