I'm normally a Lowe's girlie. Came to this Home Depot just because it was the only home improvement store remotely near downtown. I believe that the store is simply less square feet than other locations, their are not a whole lot of options in here. I was looking for a rug pad and found only carpet padding and nothing big enough for what I needed. Nobody really offered to help me either. The merchandise seems to be fairly disorganized, I was disappointed. But, it gets some jobs done. I made some copies of a key. The machine was very kind to me. read more

I was verbally assaulted at this Home Depot, and the Cashier stood by and watched. I was going into the garden center and looking for someone to answer a question. A woman made eye contact with me like she was waiting for me to speak and I asked her about where the potting soil was. She said "you think just because I'm black that I work here? We don't want your kind here, now get out." She was screaming at me. Customers do not make that kind of eye contact with other customers that is not normal. That's why I thought she worked there. I went back to the entrance of the store and talked to the store manager. I had them call the cops. I couldn't report the incident because they didn't get the other people information. After the police left, I went back to the garden center to get what I needed and I heard the store manager talking to the cashiers laughing and saying " yeah, right like we're going to give out our information" I will never return to any store in that area. It was scary. Beware. Manager did not say anything about store security or anything to me. read more

I love the Crestwood location of Home Depot. We are always able to find what we need for our home. When we prepared to move, we were able to find a representative to help us locate packing materials and I didn't feel like products were being shoved in my face. I was also able to find some other supplies for my yard. The app is also amazing because it tells you where things are located. So even if you cannot always locate someone for assistance, you can find where it is located on the app. There are also proper precautions and they provide sanitizer. The checkout process is also so easy because they have self-checkout and they usually have all of their lanes open. So, you never have to wait a long time. Sometimes, the website tells you that this store has items and then they are sold out by the time you get there. This is my only issue because the inventory does not always match the website. Other than that, this is always my favorite location. I have been to other locations and I feel like I get the best service at this particular location. Home Depot is my place for flowers and fertilizers. I buy wood here too for projects. I find their prices Pretty good on certain items. Today I needed fertilizer so I got some Scott's. They had several types of Scotts fertilizer so I just picked one to use. I have used this store to decorate my garden with flowers. I also buy my veggie plants here. read more

I went to get some wood and the wood I needed was not anywhere in the store so I had to change sizes on the fly. On top of that, the wood that worked was on a pallet so I had to ask an employee for help. The employee I asked for help acted angry and annoyed that I needed help. They were rude, short, and inattentive to my needs as a customer. They also drove the forklift like an absolutely madman, nearly hitting their coworker whipping around a corner. They also forgot to cut the straps holding the wood together so I had to get another employee to do that for me. I know one employee doesn't reflect the business as a whole, and had that in mind until I went to the checkout counter. The person at the counter miscounted my cart items not once, not twice, but FOUR times. I will be choosing a different store next time as I have been treated disrespectfully multiple times here and this was the last straw! read more

As a female, this is not my favorite place to shop. However, when I need something for the house or yard, it fits the bill. My mom always buys her flowers from here in the springtime. I love that they have a one year guarantee on the perennials. If they don't last, you can return the dead flower and receive a refund. While my mom was blessed with a green thumb, I obviously must have a black one because my flowers/plants don't make it past a few months. Poor little helpless plant babies. Sometimes I'll wander around to scope out things I might be able to use around the house or at work. Other times I check out the appliances. Most of the time, I get what I have to get and I'm out. For your home improvement needs, this is your place. The prices are decent and most of the time, there are workers floating around that can help you find what you're looking for. They really have a no hassle return policy on most of their products, which is a big deal to me. I don't like hassles involving my money. Check them out. Ran in just to get a few replacement door locks. Upon entering the store, we received help from a really nice lady. Despite her telling us the wrong aisle to go to for the locks, her willingness and excitement to help didn't go unnoticed! We were able to find the door locks we needed and used the self checkout , where we met another amazing lady who answered questions about how to look up Home Depot credit card information. It had been a really long time since I've visited Home Depot, but I feel confident that I will be stopping in for future home improvements needs. Great service and a large selection! Terrible store with terrible management who refused to speak with me over the phone. I ordered a generator online that was showed to be 'in stock' at their store. Their lousy management and lousy employees were too lazy to pull the generator in a timely fashion, and they were sold out before they pulled it. There is no excuse for this. I even had someone lined up to pick it up and bring it to me, because I was at work doing activities related to relief efforts for Hurricane Zeta. Otherwise I would have gone in person. Luckily my power was restored that day, and I ended up not needing the generator. I'm not alone with having issues with this store, my employer had issues getting them to help get supplies for Zeta relief too, management refused to lift a finger to help. Home Depot Corporate needs to 'clean house' at this store, especially with management. read more

I was pleasantly surprised that this Home Depot was so conveniently located close to my home. They are tucked away in a small strip mall and surrounded by the Phoenix Movie Theater, Dollar Tree, Burlington, and Los Arcos, which is directly across the parking lot. Upon walking in to this location I was greeted by multiple staffers who were all too eager to help assist me with my needs. Unfortunately this location didn't have the particular backsplash tiles that I was looking for, although they did have a great selection. I will be a regular at this location in the near future. Although these big box stores are sort of like the Wal-mart of tools, I have always loved going to them. The endless supplies of stuff that I want would make Tim Taylor and Al Borland proud. (I tried to type the Tim sound but it just didn't type out well). Home Depot in general is not even my favorite of these type of stores. But as so many of my reviews are written... it is all about convenience. I do first of all LOVE that they let dogs in the store. Although our dog in particular is not great for simple browsing. Still a puppy with puppy curiosity and a love for all living things. The stock is usually filled and usually have what you want at a reasonable price. but that is pretty standard across the board. So if you have a project where you know what you want and what you are doing you are fine. Even though everyone is friendly and helpful (as much as they can be), I don't feel like everyone here is super knowledgable. And the one fella we came across who is, was quite pushy about his opinion of what is best. But since I know just enough to be dangerous, I can usually navigate myself. Overall I really have no complaints or praises. It is just close by. So as the Yelp stars say, it is A-OK. read more

I was looking for blinds to go on a deck at the Home Depot in Crestwood. I spoke with a man who was helpful and spent time talking to me. But the woman at the self checkout ignored me when I asked a simple yes or no question: Are any lanes open? She heard me fine and walked right by me. I thanked her for completely ignoring me. She turned and snapped at me rudely that she had said "unh-unh." So I said in the same loud tone that it wasn't an appropriate answer and wasn't in the polite English she should use since this was her job. And I also pointed out that I was the one standing there checking myself out and her job for her. I told her I didn't need her sass and didn't like her tone. Other shoppers were listening and only then did she become helpful. She called me sir and tried to help me check out. I didn't smile, look at her, or acknowledge her existence in any way after that. read more

This HD gets 5 stars instead of 4 based on the awesome response time by the store GM on a Sat morn at 7am. Our condo rental needed a replacement washer, so we took advantage of a 12mo 0% deal on one back in August '15. The delivery guy was supposed to drop off the new and take the old...but he didn't, and that's where Erin comes in. She arranged for the GM to show up on a Sat morn before store opening to pick up our older, broken washer, and we were most grateful. Aside from the above experience, it was--and still is--excellent having this fully functional HD so close to our house. This being my neighborhood tool stop, I frequent it every once in a while to get a tool or item we need. Today's mission was a propane replacement can which is traded on the exterior of the building. I dropped off my can and went inside to pay for the replacement. The worker was a bit frenzied since there were 3 people at the self checkout and only her to help. She was able to get me paid up and referred me to another worker who was able to help me get my new can. Overall it was a good experience. Sometimes it can be hit or miss, but usually the staff here is pretty helpful with your project or helping find an item you need. read more

In the past, I found this to be one of the worst Home Depots for customer service. Lately, it's been much better. I stopped by today to grab four separate items. Two of them proved pretty hard to find. My only complaint is that there weren't employees readily available to help in my search. With that said, it didn't take me long to walk to the front of the store and ask. Once there, the employees were very friendly and very helpful. Always been a fan of Home Depot over Lowe's, and this location is close to the office so I often find myself making a lunch trip.

Of all the Home Depot stores I have visited (which would include all others in the metro area,) this store has always had the friendliest employees and great service! I love the self check out option, but when I do use a live cashier (usually when I am leaving through the garden department,) they have always been so nice. Often times they will ask me what kind of plants I had on the cart or try to have a bit of conversation. I am usually asked if I need help at least 2 times when walking through the store, which is always nice to have if you find yourself needing some help. read more
