Their nova comes in multiple grades (regular and Acme(tm)) which is sliced by Florida's top professional "nova slayer" in such a way that it is just better than the best you'll have anywhere else. Their whitefish salad is the most classic and perfectly prepared I have had anywhere. The original Roasters is the only NY Deli in Miami that always lives up to the name.

We finally made it and the yelp reviews we had previously read excited us even more. The moment we walked in we were like kids in a candy store with all the beer selection and options to chose from. We were so excited to make this our new go-to liquor store and support a local business rather than make a run to our usual visit at Total Wine. The man who was running the store seemed to have an opinion on each of the items we selected even though we didn't ask for it. We understand when a sales person is trying to be helpful but he was everything but helpful and his comments were not appreciated. My mother in law asked him what's a good tequila and he responded "does it really matter?". I was super under impressed by the service. In addition, he watched our every move like a hawk, which I completely understand since I'm sure there is a lot of theft in Liquor stores but this makes customers feel highly uncomfortable and is blatantly obvious. We purchased a few large bottles of Belgium beer and other items since we were already there. To our dismay ALL items were expired and we realized this when we got home. My husband did notice one of the beers we selected was expired while we were checking out and told the gentlemen we no longer wanted it (but it never occurred to us to check ALL out our selection). The store associate was passive aggressive and went on to tell us it was "still good"!!!! There was no apology rendered at all. I will never step foot in this establishment and will warn others about it which is why I was compelled to write this review. This particular aldi has the most rudest old employee lady. The first time I had a run in with her…read moreis at check out. There was an issue when scanning at self checkout. We pressed the help button and she remotely stopped it. We waited, she was the cashier. While waiting instead of finding out what was wrong with our check out she just keep ringing up customer about 3 more ignoring or need for help. We press the button 2 more time when she raised her hand and said wait rudely not calmly as if we were bothering her. She continued checking out 2 more people as they lined up so I started to pushing the button and each time she immediately canceled the request. After push the button about 5 more times she shoved the seat back and stomped over and said in broken enlish "what" and thats all she said and pouted mad that she had get up and fix an issue she had. When I asked what her name was she refussed I said I want to file a complaint she ignored me. I located the manage and she refused to give me her name too, which gave me the impression is was her hiring of a friend of family memeber so she was protecting her. For months maybe a year I avoided any contact with this ugly employee at the register or on the floor. Just because this store is close to my home I shop there, but the first store to open west of there had the nicest employees and helpful and when I go to that store today they are much more help and responsive not like this store. This old rude lady is hurting aldi's customer relations, I can't see why they don't read these comments down the list and figure that out.
