    Over charred 9oz ribeye.

Steak's sear was way overdone. And it didn't appear to be seasoned at all. There was an automatic 10% gratuity for our group of 4. When we went to split the check they added another 10% to our charge which we didn't realize until later. Complete disappointment.

Wandered into this restaurant as we were walking around the Temple Bar area. Seated right away. We had the Pork Belly and Duck Wings to start. Excellent! All 3 of us had Steaks for dinner. Very good! Definitely recommend having dinner here.

Wow. I was skeptical at first but the surf and turf (grilled octopus) was perfect. Balsamic salad was great, and the fries (chips) were just delicious. I am impressed with the quality of food. The staff was very friendly and even with a reservation when we showed up a little early they had no problem getting us a table. Well done.

This was a very nice little restaurant we had to make reservations because it was so crowded and booked the previous day. So we knew we had to get in and try it. We were not disappointed. The staff that served us was amazing the food was great and needless to say we were the last ones in the building. We took shots all night which I believe $450 for all the food and drinks was well spent..a must try thank me later

By far some of the best food in Dublin. Very much a culinary experience with how they put a new spin on surf & turf. Miracle that this place was not busy. Without a doubt would have returned for numerous meals if I wasn't leaving the following day.

Amazing meat dinners! The beef Wellington and rib eye were very tasty! The meats were cooked to a perfect medium rare. The meats also had a lot of juice and was very tender. The side of french fries were pretty good. Ask for the garlic butter sauce - dip everything in it! The sauce made the food! The price was a bit expensive as sides were additional. However, if you compare this type of food with other restaurants in Temple Bar, this place is great. There was no wait, phenomenal service, and the place was recommended by locals.

Was visiting Dublin with some friends and we came across this place. The food here was so good we ended up returning 2 more times! Recommend their lobster roll and cheesecake! Hosts were also a godsend for accommodating our large group!

Came here for my birthday dinner this week and was blown away! Everyone was so kind and attentive. Our waitress, Angelique, was sooooo lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. Great food for a great price!!

When you look at Beef and Lobster's menu, everything sounds amazing. When you actually start eating, it tastes... ok. We had: - Beef and Lobster Burger: This mashup sounded interesting and tasted good! Huge burger and a generous amount of lobster too. Also good presentation on a hot "tray" - Beef Wellington: Tasty for the first few bites, but then dried up really fast. Plus the plate wasn't hot enough so it got a bit cold the longer my wife ate it. - Chocolate Brownie Sundae: Not as chocolatey as I wanted. The toffee popcorn was a nice touch. Final points: - Service was attentive and pretty quick - Portions were fine though price was expensive

Friendly staff... squeezed us in on a busy night. The food was delicious, though the wait was about an hour. It was a Friday night, so that was to be expected. We had a great view of city hall. The clientele was lively and the overall vibe was energetic. I enjoyed it and would go back!

I have never experienced the level of disrespect that me and my party endured at this establishment. When we arrived we were seated promptly because there were many open tables. Food was good, but you had to pay for water, bread, and any sides that you would want, which you would, because the portions aren't large. Two out of four people in the party ordered cocktails (a tad overpriced, but they were fine). At the end of the meal, as we were finishing our drinks and just finished paying, a manager approached our table and asked us why we hadn't left yet. Immediately embarrassing us. He then said we had been told MULTIPLE times that we needed to leave the table by 7 for other reservations. This was at 7:01. We had never been told or even approached. We were simply finishing drinks and getting ready to go. So embarrassing, will not return. Would not recommend. Never got an apology. Upset.

Stay away from lobster. Over cooked and poor quality. I wouldn't go back. Service and steaks were ok. Sides were best part of meal.

We asked about the soup flavor & they offered a taste and brought out a huge sample boat. Super cool. I got the cottage pie lunch portion, which is more than I could barely eat. It came with a boat of the sauce /and gravy and meat. Wife got the fish and chips... The fillet was longer than the plate and it came with a mountain of fries, both delicious. Daughter got the creamy vegetable soup and chips. She loved it but couldn't even finish half. All the portions were very generous, nobody finished their meal, too bad we couldn't have taken it back to our hotel. Server was great & funny. Love this place.

Thankfully, when I arrived around 1, one table happened to be opened so no wait for me. A long queue did start soon after though so just be prepared for some wait depending on when you arrive. I ordered the Seafood Chowder and the Guinness Stew. Both were very tasty! The Seafood Chowder had a good amount of seafood and the flavor was hearty but not overly heavy. Same applies to the Guinness Stew. Very hearty with lots of beef chunks but I didn't feel too heavy after eating it. The stew is definitely much different in terms of flavor and the richness (the stew was a lot more rich) but having the contrast of both dishes was ideal. To top it off, dipping the provided soda bread in each of the dishes was an added bonus. The service is very prompt and the staff are friendly. There's a decent amount of tables so turnover shouldn't be too long for those waiting in the queue. Will definitely be back on my next visit to Dublin to try the other dishes!

The restaurant is located in the city center, just a few block from our hotel near St. Stephens Green. The 4 of us previously made reservations. It was a great meal and among the best we enjoyed during our 2 week stay in various parts of Ireland. Our waitress was great, particularly when she explained the Shrimp Scampi in Ireland was breaded. We had a nice table, with a nice view of the bar and the room, and fun energy. Here's what we ordered: - Matt's Seafood Linguine (Eric) - Turbot (Gayle) - Halibut (Fern) - Porchetta (Don) We ordered a bottle of white wine for the table (Gavi Di Gavi), which Fern had heard good things about. We were not disappointed as it went well with everything (including the pork) and was enough wine for how we often drink at dinner. We finished off with 2 orders (for sharing) of Warm Chocolate Fondant. Full and happy, we ventured back into the night and to our nice hotel.

The smoked almonds are delightful and the 0% alc pale ale was a lovely companion to the F&C. My plate had a healthy portion of both fish and chips and I even left some chips behind but one person in my group took to soaking her chips in the amazing malt vinegar provided. I had to go double duty, first splashing chips and fish with vinegar AND then going in hard on the tartar. Why leave chips behind? I ran out of tartar sauce! Finishing up with the lemon posset which I also HIGHLY recommend but don't ignore the sticky toffee pudding. Our group got both desserts and shared which worked out well. Worth the two year wait! ... Let me explain…read more I was in Dublin two years ago, absolutely siked that there was a posh little chipper spot that could do gluten-free fish & chips. I made a reservation & arrived perfectly on time, just to find out ... I made the reservation for the wrong day. Fish Shop was fully booked out (& it's a small place!) so they could not accommodate me. I had to leave. I actually cried outside on the street. Gluten-free fish & chips is a big deal to me! So in 2026, I made a reservation for myself FAR in advance & made absolute certain that it was the CORRECT day. I did hold my breath just a little bit when I arrived, but I was good to go. The shop is tight - not a lot of room to move around. Unfortunately I was seated right by the door, so every time someone came in or out, I was blasted by cold air. I forgive. I ordered a skin contact Austrian wine & haddock fish & chips (gluten free, of course) & it all came out in a reasonable time. Everything was just spectacular. The fish was crispy, flaky, & perfectly done. The fries were thick & the malt vinegar was strong. The wine was weird & a perfect pairing. I really wish this spot wasn't across the ocean from me. I'll certainly be back every time I'm in the city.
