Normally, I enjoy visiting Beef Jerky Outlet stores. However, this location was a bit of a letdown. Located on The Island of Pigeon Forge, you can easily find this shop on the right hand side when entering The Island. There are two entrances whether you're coming from the front or through the "alleyway" in the back. A lot of the shelving was empty and the shop seemed like it was thrown together with their signs. We weren't greeted or helped. There's a decent selection of jerkies but overall, it's all the same. Even their adventurous meats were still made with pork. Not to mention, they were pretty expensive! We left empty-handed. read more

I was helped by an older lady named Wendy. She was extremely gregarious, funny, provided samples to aid in our decision of what to purchase, and showed us around the store for us to look at the current specials. She is a definite asset to the store. The store is very well stocked with a myriad of items. When I come back to Tennessee, I will definitely be stopping back in. read more

Mostly pork and beef jerky. Some other animal meats, including bison. A very small section of Turkey jerky in the store. They even had beef jerky with crawfish. Jerky kits, popcorn mix, cheese balls and cheese puffs too. read more

Went here today. They have all kinds of Jerky! This place has so many different flavors of jerky. I even found the jerky I ate as a kid growing up. It was the shredded beef jerky. I definitely had to buy one of those. I also bought other flavors of beef jerky. I purchased some Cajun beef jerky, sweet and hot beef jerky, southern bourbon peanuts and toffee peanuts. In short: Expensive, but some of the absolute best flavored jerky I've ever had was found here, in the form of the "Roasted Garlic" type. If you stop in here for a snack, it'll cost ya, at $10 a bag, but they do have some great samples, dozens of flavors/varieties, and even some exotics like alligator, kangaroo, elk ,etc. Sampling their flavors was a highlight of the trip, as I love jerky (good jerky, not gas station junk). They have a prime rib that is excellent, their 'fire' is spicy and delicious, and even the crawfish flavored was excellent (it's Old Bay). The king of them all, for my palate at least, was most definitely the Roasted Garlic though. Loved it so much I will definitely be getting some again when next we're in the area! read more

Stop by to buy some jerky while we were on vacation. Which was wonderful. While there we noticed a flyer about sending jerky to the guys and girls deployed. I reached out to the owner and he was more that happy to send some jerky (enough for our nephews group to share). They put together a wonderful package for the boys and it was fresh and delicious. Interesting store, literally any and every kind of jerky you could possibly want. It is a little pricey though. They also have several different types of gourmet popcorn and different candies and other things. We ended up getting a bag of the Turtle pecan popcorn and the Raspberry Cheesecake. They were $6 each or 2/$10. The Raspberry Cheesecake is amazing, simply delicious and tastes just like it. The turtle was OK, the sea salt kind of over powered the chocolate too much which was disappointing. We also got some Boston baked beans and burnt peanuts because we have not seen those in forever and used to be a favorite. I know we went to a beef jerky store and bought all things not jerky. Wow! Alot of selection to choose from. I tried a sample of just about every flavored "dehydrated" jerky and a few of the smoked jerky. I honestly don't know much about the jerky process but I do know the difference when it's dry or tender. My favorite was the fireball flavored jerky, a little dry but has a cinnamon kick to it. As the sign says on their door, it is retired Police Officer owned and operated, therefore supports and offers a 10% discount if you're military or law enforcement. Would be a five star but I thought it was a bit pricey. Good experience, staff were friendly. read more

Visited the other night with my family and was very pleased with the big variety of different kinds of jerky to choose from and the best part was the friendly staff who were very generous in letting us sample any ones we wanted to. We had a good time sampling, joking and laughing with each other and the staff, Logan, Courtney and Blair (I think were their names) and the jerky was great too, so we will definitely be back next time we visit for sure. read more

In February 2019 I went into the Beef Jerky Outlet on the Island in Pigeon forge to buy beef jerky to ship to my husband over seas and while in there the cashier explained to me that the owner would ship a large barrel of donated beef jerky to units overseas. I was shocked! I gave them my husband's unit information and let me just say, getting a FaceTime call from his unit the day they received the shipment was amazing! They were so excited! Fast forward to today, December 2020 we we went in the shop again now that my husband is home and saw the unit picture hanging on the wall! We will always shop here! read more

Visited the Jerky Outlet at the Island lots of different Jerky's to choose from. Wish we could have sampled them ! There were two female employees that were more interested in talking with each other than marketing the product. There were approx eight other customers in the store that the two employees totally ignored. After about twenty minutes in this store we walked out in disgust. We won't be back to this store due to the bad customer service. read more

Great jerky, good place to sample each taste. My favorite is Asian Sesame, Cherry maple, and honey jalapeno.

The employees were very helpful. The sign on the door welcoming constitutional abiding citizens is what brought us in. Being a hunter/trapper, my 11 yr old son and I loved looking at the variety of taxidermied game on the walls. The variety of jerky to choose from is incredible. The prices are slightly high compared to other box store brands but the quality is better. Not much sinew in their jerky which my wife and children likes doing without. They offered discounts for military and law enforcement and I hear the owner is retired LEO. KUDOS to this company for their American loyalty and pro constitutional attitude. read more
