This place has moved down the road from the location of my first review. I just wanted to come here and update that review. The food is still fantastic. I got the comfort bowl with steak again.....I got it again because it does not disappoint, and I can't wait to get it again. We were with friends and there were not any tables available, so the guys grabbed drinks and we sat out on the patio waiting for a table. I was worried that they would forget about us because they didn't take our name, but they didn't forget. The owner even came out and chatted with us for awhile. First time at this location and it's set up exactly as other locations. We arrived at 3:00 on a Monday and there was only one other occupied table and a few people at the bar. I know it's hard getting help these days, but people that are working, don't seem to want to work. We waited for a server who finally took our drink order, and then it took forever for her to take our food order. The menu is varied, so there is something for everyone. Monday is $6.99 burgers, so I thought I would try one. They asked how I wanted it cooked and at medium, I would expect pink. Our food arrived and the fries were nice and hot, but the burger was dried out, and definitely not pink. I am guessing since it's the special of the day that they pre-make a bunch of burgers and warm them up. Not a good burger. Disappointing lunch and I am not in a hurry to return. read more

Tried this place last night and was quite disappointed. Got the BBq bacon chicken sandwich which would have been delicious except it was undercooked. Outside was seared nicely but inside was nearly raw. I did not complain to the waitress as that never seems to go well these days. It would have been nice if she had asked how the meal was or noticed I ate everything on my plate except the piece of chicken - I literally ate even the bun and all the fries but left the chicken with just one bite. Upon walking into the establishment yesterday, on Sunday afternoon, a gentleman greeted us with a smile, and sat us wherever we wanted to sit. After that, everything went downhill from there. We ordered two Mojitos, and when they arrived at the table, they were very very sweet and we did not care for them and gave them back. The gentleman that seated us gladly took them away with a smile, and no questions asked. Our server was just rude and acted like she did not want to be at work that day. Shortly after I found out that that was the person who made the drinks. She is obviously a part-time bartender. Who's not very good at her job. She actually came to the table and confronted us why we did not like the drinks. We got up and left and I will never return to this establishment and I will never recommend it to anyone in my family or friends. Our service was surprisingly slow...and they weren't that busy--a few people at the bar, and maybe six other tables they were waiting on. A sucker for tacos, I ordered the three steak tacos with chips and salsa. These were your typical Tex-Mex tacos with lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. They did have a nice sauce on the tacos...but they pale in comparison to some of the other tacos I've consumed. The salsa also wasn't that great. Went for Taco Tuesday and placed our order. The place was busy and servers were hopping. Apparently our order took longer than expected and the waitress comped my beers. I told her it was fine and she insisted. We didn't think the wait was that long but it was a nice gesture. Rarely seen where a place is cognizant of the patron. Refreshing to say the least. We have frequented beef's different locations for years. They have been our go to sit down place after a long sports day. We visited this particular location on a Saturday. There were about 3 tables of customers and maybe 4 people at the bar. Our server Ginger was cold and acted rushed. Not sure why since she only had our table and one other. Tried to order a mudslide. After about 10min, she finally came back with no drink. Said they were out of ice cream. Didn't suggest anything else and walked away. We tried to order boneless wings as appetizer. They came out with our food and they were so hard and over cooked, my son thought he cracked a tooth. Our food was less than mediocre. Half plate of fries with a wrap.. Philly with more onions than meat.. and that was just the start.. We never saw our server to even tell her bc again she was "busy". When we finally got a chance to call her over to ask about my husband's garlic melt bc its the one thing he orders all the time, and it didn't look right. She literally answered "Yep, that's it. You must have gotten it made wrong ALL those other times" and proceeded to walk away. We were never rude to her. We were polite and not demanding. There was absolutely no need for her behavior towards us.. Typically when my husband orders the garlic melt, it is overflowing with meat and you can smell the garlic from a mile away. No garlic at all. And the meat was almost non-existent. For $15, we were better off ordering 2 subs from subway to get more meat. We were never asked for drink refills until we asked for a box for our sons Philly cheesesteak. Overall, it was such an unpleasant experience, we will never return to that location. What's ironic, is that after telling this story to some neighbors, they knew exact location we went to bc they have had similar experiences. read more

We've been coming here since we moved to the area 6 months ago. My dude is a sucker for a great rewards program and he's always getting some free kids meal, or $10 off, or something of the like for this place. The food is fine (not awesome) and the wait staff is usually ok. The kids love the kid's meals (which we often get for free) However. Today we couldn't ignore the political talk. We usually can. Someone usually shuts them up. NOT today. The racist words coming out the manager's mouth were shocking. You don't stand in the middle of your dining room and have a conversation about the Hispanic men seated 6 ft away or the "lazy" black athletes with a minority sitting 2 ft away. This was completely unacceptable. I understand that I'm a liberal in red area. I get it. But my kids don't need to hear your racist speech. My kid literally asked me why you didn't like the Hispanic men, and he didn't use my racial description, he used yours. read more

I don't like their customer service. Customer service also means having things easily accessible to the customer. I order online and it had an option for curbside. I pull up in front of the building, I call and explain I have ordered a curbside order and wanted to make sure I parked in the right spot. The team member explained they don't do curbside and that I'd have to come in. No big deal...I walk in and explain I have an order for pickup. The woman tells me to walk to the bar and I would be able to get my order. Her saying "the bar" confused me because the bar was 2 feet away from me. So I walked in the direction her arm had extended to past the bar to another woman back in the area I thought I was supposed to be in. I told her I had an order for pickup. Told her my name and she pointed behind me to a white plastic table that was set up along the wall with bagged orders. The woman that had told me "the bar" obviously doesn't know what a bar is. And instead of taking customer service up a notch she didn't accompany me to lead me to what she was talking about. Instead I looked like a idiot walking back to an area by the bathrooms to find out what "bar" I'm supposed to be at. Mind you I had only walked 10 steps. Please explain why you would need your online order customers walking through your restaurant just to get a bagged order that one of the unoccupied 5 workers sitting down doing nothing could've handed to me? And if any of the workers insisted on not grabbing my order for me please use clearer directions. For example: "Yes ma'am we have your order ready just walk straight ahead and it will be sitting on a WHITE TABLE to your left just before the bathrooms. read more

I ended up try the Buffalo chicken sandwich, it was ok....My friends ordered fish tacos and they only gave her 2, should've been 3. You ever been somewhere and been so unimpressed with everything you cannot find words? That's where I am. Our waitress was ok until she brought the bill, once she brought the bill to us she never checked on us again except when she checked to see if we had paid yet. I suppose her "no rush on paying the bill" was bullshit? We sat there for an hour longer chatting and she never came back to see if we needed anything else. Location was Lakewood Ranch Rd. & Rt. 64. Stopped in after LEECOM graduation on Sunday 6/5/22 at 5:20. Maddie, our server, was delightful and efficient; keeping our drinks refreshed and checking on us. There were four of us. We ordered the combo appetizer, it was perfect and tasty. The onion rings were the best I have ever had. My daughter and I shared a bbq bacon burger that was very good and cooked just the way we ordered. Shayna, the bartender mixed up the perfect strawberry margarita. I don't recall what the rest of the group ordered, but they did say it was delicious. We all shared the funnel cake fries for dessert and were not disappointed. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Bradenton. read more

I must say that I have been very impressed with this particular location of Beef O Brady's. I have come into this place just over two months ago and I have had nothing but the best experience with Ally Corleto. Not only was she so fast and prompt to serve everyone at the bar who was ordering food in ordering drinks but we made the best drinks that were very hard to make that we have ordered in other bars and restaurants and they have never quite gotten it right. She is a gem to this place and if it weren't for her I would not come back here again. Tracy was also great as she was a very superb bartender. But hands down Ally is number 1. I called for a takeout order during this chaotic time (coronavirus 2019) for those that go back and read this. Alexis and the other female sever working took the extra initiative to recommend pretzels instead of tortilla chips with my queso and even though it was $.50 more. And it was worth the $ they weren't just recommending it for the upsell. They had it ready when I came and gave me tortilla chips anyway just in case I didn't like them. Not only was the service slow, food mediocre, and ambiance dull, but the whole reason we came to Beef's was due to a groupon, that the manager wouldn't honor. After on meal, we presented the waitress with our groupon. She said that the manager told her that they do not except groups. We asked to speak to him and literally 5 minutes later, an arrogant, wee little manager, was very rude and said that the groupon was not for his location and he did not benefit from it, so he wouldn't take it. I told him that it was the whole reason that we came to his franchise and he didn't seem to care one bit. I offered him 3 chances to make it right and at least offer us a small percentage off the bill, but he would not budge. He offered $5 off and I told him that at this point, it was a customer service issue and of he handled it properly we would come back. He said that he was only willing to give $5 off a $70 bill. He said that he is an independent franchise owner and he can do whatever he wants. All that it takes is one bad review to influence people's decisions. Trust me on this one. If you are reading this, spend your time, money, and appetite somewhere else. This place is the worst and I hope this pompous manager's franchise fails and he regrets not taking $10 off the bill. You lost a customer and have tarnished Beef o'Brady's brand. I will not be returning to any of these restaurants of this is the example of how they train their franchise owners.
