Taco salad-meat, cheese and chips only Fish Sandwich Chicken Sandwich Footling hotdog Fried mushrooms Sloppy Joe Sandwich When the order arrived, the bag was left on our porch (as requested). The bag was open, not closed at all from the restaurant. The footlong hotdog was showing as well as the small bag of Doritos that were open. I have a couple issues with this part of the situation. 1. The store should've closed the bag so that our food wouldn't be contaminated. How do I know that the driver didn't touch it, or that it didn't fall into his floor? 2. Why was the bag of Doritos (not even what I ordered) not closed? 3. Why was the footlong not wrapped up? THEN--I started pulling out items out of the bag. The "Taco Salad" was apparently a "Walking Taco". Pics attached. The chicken sandwich was literally a chicken patty (not what was pictured). The breaded mushrooms had 3 pieces. I called the store, the lady on the phone told me that it was Doordash's fault and that the driver "must've eaten my food". She told me she'd remake the taco salad, stating that she had been slammed and accidentally made the wrong thing. She said she'd remake the mushrooms because she knows there was 6, but the driver must've eaten the other 3. And she also remade the footlong. I got to the store to pick up the remade food, and showed her the difference in the pics on DoorDash from the food we received. She said, "My cousin is just a normal person like you and me and he's trying to get this place back up and running. He just took over in May." That's 4 months..... I can sympathize with being slammed. I'm not complaining at all about the mix up, but main issue is the false advertising AND not closing the bag of food before sending it with the delivery driver and THEN blaming him for her mistakes. They did refund the $7 for the chicken sandwich, but we will NEVER return and I'd advise others to not order food from there until they (at minimum) update their pictures on web.
