Had a lot of fun at this event. But... The lines were incredibly too long, the food was all in tiny portions, and there weren't that many vendors.. If they want to let THAT many people in, they need to TRIPLE the amount of beer and food... Or they just only need to sell a certain amount of tickets, and when they're sold, say "sold out" and DON'T sell them at the door the day of. We bought the VIP tickets and it was not worth the price...

This festival is a blast! I would definitely recommend the VIP session as you get more trips to the beer tents, and shorter lines at all the food tastings. Delicious, well thought out bacon dishes, good beer, and a bonus for the wine & bourbon tastings!

Good time in spite of the drizzly weather!

Lines were kinda long for beers. Entry was pricy for what you got but it was a good time! Need more vendors and samples. Would do it again hoping weather is better!!

This is a picture of the crowd waiting for some yummy beers at the Beer and Bacon Festival.

The amphitheatre is beautiful and the beers, vodkas, ciders, boubon and whiskey were good, but the lines were a bit long. If it doesn't rain next year, I recommend separating the vendors into their own booths, to give people more room to mingle and wait in line. The lines blended, and on one side of the large tent, there was a lot of congestion as people waited to approach the various vendors. I like that you had a DD ticket - and was happy we had our own DD. I would suggest adding more food options for next year.

$120 for a couple and the event only lasts for three hours and there is no guarantee you will get any food.

We had a blast both Friday & Saturday at the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival in Cary,NC at Koka Booth…read moreAmphitheater. It was a great two days of "beer sippin', bourbon tastin', music listenin', cigar smokin', and barbeque eatin'." That's what the website said they offered and it did not disappoint. Each guest received a souvenir glass to enjoy unlimited samples of beer and bourbon (plus there were a few wines and other spirits on hand to try). It was nice to discover some local distilleries and learn more about them inside the Tasting Theatre( where we opted to attend one of the seminars). We explored BBQ Food trucks galore but even if you don't eat it there were other options like Cousins Lobsters . I would say if I had to choose which day was best, Friday night VIP session included a Dinner Plate, where you can chose to get a sampler platter from the food trucks with that offer. All in all, we had us a ball! Feel free to see my full recap video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/UsJYf37BPeU?si=Ua5gvkujWFA0ccEF

I've attended the beer bourbon and barbecue festival at Cocoa Booth in Cary many times over the…read moreyears I've always looked forward to it in fact our group typically includes anywhere from 15 to 20 friends and family members who attend each year unfortunately this year's event was very disappointed One of the biggest concerns was the limited number of vendors especially those specializing in spirits there appear to be very few whiskey bourbon vodka rum tequila rye vendors I don't think I saw any vodka vendors and no rum. another disappointing change is the tasting cup and the lanyard I remember when they used to provide glass cups however along with the hard plastic tasting cup they also change the lanyards and now that is a cheap piece of rubber that stretches out of shape and the cups fall through so if you make a mistake and buy the lanyard thinking that your glass will fit It will not and you will find that you will lose your cup consistently and have to replace it some of us wait all year for this festival traditionally it's been a lot of fun and memorable experience We hope you consider the feedback and bring back the variety of vendors and higher quality event materials
