The food is mostly bar items and tapas, but they're cheap and tasty. They have a handful of different taquitos with humorous names (i.e. impossible to translate) like "The Golden Chicken". Enjoy that. Late night brings in live music and a much more energetic atmosphere. By midnight the place is usually packed. But the bartender here tonight was really bizarrely rude and I couldn't figure out why. A group of 6 of us came in. We all ordered drinks. I ordered a beer for myself and one of my friends. I handed her 100 pesos for the 90 peso tab and left the change as tip. When I ordered my second drink I noticed I had a lot of difficulty getting her attention and she didn't seem to be looking at me or even actively avoiding making eye contact. Having tried to get her attention many times, I was able to speak loud enough to get her attention when she came to get the order of someone near to me. I was shocked when she practically THREW my change back at me. Well, that was bizarre....am I imagining things? I couldn't imagine what I might have done that would cause her to be so rude so I shrugged it off. One of the 6 people in our party was not drinking. Everyone else ordered more than one drink and I know them to be considerate people and people who tip. I was SHOCKED again when the bartender approached the man in our party who wasn't drinking and asked if she could get him anything. She interrrupted his conversation -- basically tapped him on the shoulder while I was talking to him!!!! Meanwhile, when I'd actually WANTED to buy a drink, she wouldn't even make eye contact or look in our direction!!!! He thanked her and said no he didn't and resumed the conversation. At which point, she loudly screamed at him, "I'M TALKING TO YOU." He turned back to the bar and politely said, "I heard you, thank you. I'm good." Later, one of my friends approached us at the bar trying to get a drink and same deal, she said the bartender had been actively avoiding her and getting drinks had been very difficult. Lo and behold, my friend wanted a drink and now the bartender was ignoring us again. My friend tried on several occasions to get her attention and it was clear she was actively avoiding us. She wasn't far away so I did raise my voice to yell, "Can my friend get a Victoria?!" Now it was on. She SCREAMS back at me, "Will you please wait your turn?????!!!" So I told her exactly how rude she was and we left the bar. To be clear, this was the blonde bartender (wearing red on the Mexican independence day shift) and not the dark-haired woman behind the bar. I can only gather that this bartender was upset that one in our group occupied a bar seat when he was not drinking but there are much better and more civil ways to handle the situation. He was with 5 people who all WERE drinking. I also have no idea why this bartender decided to be so disgusting to me and my friend who politely ordered drinks and tipped her just because we were associated with someone else at the bar who wasn't drinking? Anyway, this bartender was completely rude and really spoiled what should have been a fun night out for no reason. I'd love to recommend this spot and return but unfortunately, not with this woman behind the bar.

Very fun to cheer for Mexico in Mexico! This little place has such a lovely atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming and made me feel like a local. The manager Jorge invited us to come back a couple days later to celebrate our anniversary with a bottle of sparkling wine on the house! We had such a fun time having delicious beers and tequila shots. They play some of my favorite indie rock tunes that adds the perfect touch to the fun atmosphere. We were very happy that is open now! I decided to start off with the "Mieles De Maria Sabina" A wonderful mix of 400 Conejos Mezcal, Ancho Reyes, cranberry juice and a "homemade punch". It was very refreshing, well balanced and came in a really cool glass! My second drink was the "Amarra Hombres Cascados". Gin, Aperol, grapefruit juice. It too hit the spot on a really hot day. Definitely a place we will hit when we need a good cocktail!
