Just wanted to sit by the water and grab a quick bite..expect to pay high prices for the food here,, it is right by where the shop is docked..Chips and Salsa I believe were 12.00 in addition to ordering a. Meal...no complimentary Chips and Salsa like you are used to at home..we passed on them...ordered Quesabirria.Tacos, they were served quickly and arrived hot and very good..out server was excellent and very sweet! Visited while at the port in Cozumel for a drink. I had a very good mojito at Three Amigos, the staff was nice, the crowd was festive. Like other places in the port the drink prices were super expensive; I paid $20 for a mojito. I would not have known I was in Mexico paying NYC prices if it wasn't for the music and dancing. read more

I didn't try the food It was so hot, I needed a drink. The drinks in America money were very pricey. We were on a cruise and stopped by to get a drink before getting back on the ship. We got suckered in with coupons from the cruise ship for free tequila drinks. It ended up being a midori sour with a splash of tequila, filled with ice. The place is picturesque, with views out the 'windows', which are really just holes in the wall. Outside, you see crystal blue waters and the giant cruise ships moored at the port. The bar is a bit over the top Mexican- they have a man with a bandalero full of shot glasses and bottles of tequila in holsters who will pour shots down your throat while he blows on a whistle. We saw this at about 10a on a weekday, so it's that kind of bar. It's exclusively for gringos getting off the cruise ship. The decor is also over the top- bordering on pandering to the gringos... You can pose on a concrete donkey with a large sombrerro and a rifle. I didn't try the food. The beer was cold. They don't dress the beers here with salt and lime, like I'm used to back home, which I thought was weird. I got a half lime with my beer and a saucer with some salt in it. The same for tequila shots. They have a photographer that'll stalk you and ask for the chance to photograph you for dinero. This place is pretty expensive all around. read more

I wish we had more time to spend at Three Amigos. I looked and felt like a great place to hang out for the day. The food looked great, although a glass of tequila sunrise as all I had, a free drink after a horrible beach tour. I will return to Three Amigos and spend my money and time there rather than a horrible tour to a dirty little town and a horrible horrible beach area. Don't do the shop-beach day 4 hr excursion. Stay at the pier and enjoy your day!! read more

This place is immediately to the right after you get off the cruise ship. Unfortunately this port is pretty limited on food options so this is your best bet. We tried the tacos here. They were alright, but not my favorite. Make sure you can get a seat that has some shade as this place gets really hot in the sun. If you are interested in drinking a tequila that the locals drink, ask for "El Jefe". It's pretty unique and probably not like anything you have ever had before. read more

My advice would be to venture further away from the port and eat local. The atmosphere at this restaurant is great, but the food is not. The only item that we had that I'd suggest ordering would be the quesadilla. Everything else was pretty bland, especially the queso dip with beef, guacamole, and the green tortilla chips. It wasn't worth the price at all. You can also get Tex Mex for half the price in the States.... so that was a bit ironic to me. The atmosphere was fun! The music was good. We went in September and college football was showing on the tvs. They allow dancing on the bar! The restaurant overlooks the water and is very open and airy. Overall: Overpriced tourist trap. If you're on a bachelor(ette) weekend though this could be a spot for you. read more

I've been here several times when I've been in port on a cruise. It's our go to spot for some cerveza, perhaps a tropical drink and some great chicken nachos. It's always entertaining to see vacationers taking shots and the mayhem that follows. All in good fun of course. This recent visit I was staying at a nearby resort for the week and still enjoyed going back for some drinks and I enjoy the shops in the area. Definitely worth the trip read more

This restaurant is okay, like average. This restaurant is at the port where the cruises dock. My mom and I decided to eat here before we had to board back on the ship. The set up was pretty nice. It was close to water and very open. There's a lady walking around with jello watermelon. This jello watermelon I'm sure had alcohol in it lol, I didn't have one but the table near us order one. The lady did a nice little skit with it (sorry, I don't have a video) but it was pretty entertaining. My mom and I ordered a burrito. It was okay, nothing special about it. Wonderful! Came here on a stop during my cruise and had an amazing time! It was a young lady selling watermelon hello shots that were delicious. My sister and I stopped in right after getting off the cruise ship. A lady asked if we wanted a watermelon jello shot, which brought us in for food. We both ordered fried fish tacos, and they were fantastic! They were essentially street tacos loaded with onions and cilantro. They were excellent! The wait staff was very attentive; we ordered drinks, which were not the right type, so they made us another. Both were great. The scenery is amazing; if you get by a window, it's open so you can see the water and ships in port. The decor and complete ambience is great. A very festive place to go while in Cozumel! read more

This is a cute little spot right on the ocean to the right as you exit your cruise ship. It has plenty of outdoor seating. There is a life size stand up sign of the Three Amigos you can put your head in and take pictures. The service was good and the prices reasonable. This was a great way to end the night with some Mexican food. The menu had so many great things I had a hard time deciding. We started with cheese, salsa, guacamole and chips all was tasty. We got filled up whit that so when the meal came we were already full. The quesadilla was huge and packed with chicken and so much flavor. I couldn't stop eating it. On an unexpected stop due to a hurricane, our ship made a stop in Cozumel. My friend and I had done an excursion earlier in the day, and after were hungry so we stopped to eat here before taking in all that is Cozumel as it was my 1st time here. We were seated right away next to the beautiful view of the ocean. Our waiter was very quick to come and see if we wanted something to drink, we placed our drink orders and enjoyed the view. I have always wanted to try this place when going to Cozumel but after eating there I was not a fan and so much not a fan I'd never eat it again First no chips and salsa unless you pay $10 and it's warm salsa and green hard tortilla chips. Worst I've ever had The entrees were good I had the potato burrito no meat but very filling for $10 Wife had tacos and chicken 3ct for $12 not bad at all just no rice or beans The watermelon slice shot was $3 was the best thing I ate lol The drinks were bottled tea and Mexican beer that was a little high and we had to order 2 teas no refills and remember it was 90 degrees outside We bought a picture because I enjoyed the view but it was not a very good photo taken. All in all this place is very expensive for what you get. We spent $50 on food and drink plus $30 for picture. I spent $17 in town at a local progressive restaurant the next day that put this to shame. Go local stay away from this place if you want good Mexican food read more

We visited Cozumel on a cruise. The night before we got there- was a good long one. Filled with copious amounts of bourbon and tequila making for a painful morning. The ships food was "meh" at best. We were excited to get to land and have some tacos- tacos cure everything... Right? The place is kind of cool. I am a fan of the movie- so seeing the subtle relations was fun. The service was decent- except for ladies that kept asking if we wanted jello shots that looked like watermelon. That was the last thing I wanted! We sat out on the deck.. by the bathtubs. The wife asked the server why there were bathtubs.. the reply was simple "in case you feel dirty and want to take a bath." Fair enough. I ordered the al pastor tacos- she ordered the chicken ones. When they came- i dug in with excitement! Yet.. that excitement quickly turned to disappointment. The tacos were terrible. The flavors were bland and reminded me of cafeteria food from high school. I have eaten many "authentic" tacos in my day from all over the place.. these were about as commercialized as it gets and far from what you would expect to get. The bill was about $50 for a total of 6 tacos and 3 bottles of water. By the way.. no restroom here either- you have to cross the street and walk a bit. There are better options- I would steer clear of this one. At least if you are looking for good food. read more

They were okay - I expected more for some reason. Maybe due to the fact that I was in another country, 'expecting' something a little more authentic... then too, authenticity can mean something different for the next person. The service was a bit slow and we had to practically beg for the check nonetheless, the music and scenery was wonderful especially considering we were enjoying lunch and drinks practically on the beach. I did not like the fact that they cooked your food in one location and walked across the sidewalk to bring it to you and what why is there a microwave sitting on the beer cooler? Lastly, we asked for a server after a good 10 minutes of being seated, and had to hound someone down for our check as well.
