The Beer House Club is a nice place to stop in for a beer. If you can get past the cigarette smoke (we're not used to that in the US) its most enjoyable. There was a soccer game on TV so the place was pretty crowded. We had three different wait people during the evening and each were quite friendly and accommodating. They had maybe 10 beers on tap. Among those was Pilsner Urquell. This is the unpasteurized beer you cannot get in the US. Tasted as good as we had in Prague. Against my better judgement I ordered a burger with an Italian flair. It was good but not as good as we get at home. A great place to enjoy a beer. Salut!! read more

Great beer was found in Italia at the Beer House Club. Young frequenters come into this pub to drink and nosh their hearts out. The food is decent for a reasonable price and the craft beer is excellent. Giant screens are there to, of course, watch Italy's and Europe favorite sport: FUTBOL. read more

9.10.16: The hubby had two beers while I only had one. It was a really nice break from walking around all over the place. Pit Stop. They have a wide selection but none of them stood out for me, so I only had one for that reason. It was pretty relaxing though. Dimly lit bar with one bartender. Stopped here a couple weeks back for a beer to kill time and ended up coming back a couple days ago. Both times it was quiet (late afternoon) but there were a few people around. Staff was helpful & friendly and the beer was cold. First round was a recommended IPA from England. Being a fan of IPAs from Oregon & California I knew this was likely to be not as strong. Indeed it wasn't but it was tasty & drinkable. The fries were likewise good - came out crazy hot so be forewarned! The second visit was to try the "tank beer". Apparently they get it from various breweries and the date the tank was opened is listed. They serve it until it's gone and that's it. It was good, although I think I still prefer something a bit stronger. I did love that the "small" I ordered was a solid beer mug full. All in all, a great spot (dog friendly too) with some outdoor seating, lots of inside & good beer. Worth your time and I plan to return at some point as the rest of the food menu had some good old fashioned items to try. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place. As an American beer snob that had been in Western Europe for over a month and really suffering from lack of good beer (especially of the craft variety), this was an oasis. In particular, they offer a wide range of truly excellent beers that are not only yummy but local--I know some love wine tours of Europe and I think this is the closest thing to a beer tour of Tuscany that one can do in a single place. Simone (one of the owners) and their staff are hugely welcoming, well-informed, and will work hard to make sure they get you a beer you really enjoy, without any pressure to "know what you're talking about," but they'll spend time talking homebrewing (they have their own brews!) and other topics with you, if you're interested. Was looking forward to trying some local Italian beers, unfortunately the tap list wasn't too local. For Italy this has an impressive list of good beers, but it doesn't stack up against the beer culture in other countries nearby. I tried both of the local beers on tap and both were pretty poor. Service was decent here, and the place has lots of seating and a covered patio type of thing. read more

Artisan beer in Florence located near Piazza Santa Croce, I went there for the first time last night and I really liked the vibe and ambiance. They have 10 types of Italian artisan beer on tap and many alternative choices in stock. I had a really nice fruity beer called "trashy blonde" that I enjoyed and I feel like there is something for everyone at this bar. Prices are great and it's a casual sort of bar. They are open from 6pm on-wards and you can catch the game there if that's your thing. I do believe they have a sort of card system, where you have to be a member for a year but it's a one off payment and anyone can join. Beer lovers, this is your paradise. read more

Sooo I had a really pleasant night when I checked out beer house club by chance when I walked by it. The bartender seemed quiet at first but ended up being a really good guy. Another customer next to me at the bar who wasn't paying attention to what she was doing knocked over my drink. Being the rude person that She was, she simply replied "I don't know how to help you." I wiped up the spill and accepted the fact that my drink was gone. The bartender noticed what had happened and kindly gave me a free refill. Now that's quality customer service if I ever saw it. The waiter was also super funny so they both made it a great atmosphere. They also helped me out when I asked what the foods on the menu were because I'm not from the area. Lastly they were both very helpful when I was trying to pick a beer. They let me try multiple and had good suggestions for me. Would return for a drink. read more

I had only heard of this happening from time to time but figured it would never happen to me. Well, here I am in Florence, at the "Beer House Club," and it happened to me. Do not get your beer here. My favorite pub in Florence!!! The pizza is amazing, they have a wide variety of great beers, the staff is friendly, the place is very clean and they have great deals for students like 3 beers for €10 or 5 shots for €5. Every time I have been there it's so full. Definitely go check it out if you wanna have a fun night ! read more

Nice little brew house serving local craft beers with bar, table and outside seating. They had an decent IPA and excellent double IPA which was rare from my travels throughout Italy. Price was 5 euro a pint and they'll throw in a free shot or two if you're not careful! The owners, Herman and Lea are great guys and speak English well. They also brew their own beer at a sister club near the Plaza Signoria that serves a fine cheese burger. Definitely worth the time to get a brew there. read more

BHC had great hamburgers, with lots of little local twists, and some absolutely amazing craft beers.
