The beer (if you get it on tap) is great, but the food is just so-so. The location of Beer Union is nice, because it's tucked into a corner of Terminal C, where there aren't too many people. I got a seat at one of the barstools overlooking the airport waiting area, and I drank my beer and ate my boneless chicken wings while watching people scurry to and fro. Speaking of boneless wings: I swear that these were Kroger chicken nuggets, because they tasted like the kind that I sometimes buy for my children from the freezer section of Kroger. So I wouldn't recommend them, unless you're craving a lil' taste of home and you're one of my children. The boneless wings come with a cup of barbecue sauce and ranch. They're supposed to come with celery sticks, but they came with pickle slices instead. It's just as well, because I didn't want celery anyway. The whole time I was at Beer Union, there were minimal people here, which is great for a restaurant in a busy airport. That's a reason to visit right there, because it's nice to be able to just find a place to sit, relax and drink a pint when you're in the airport. read more

Tried this place in a layover in DFW. Service is to be desired. I sat down and tried to find a server. No where in the restaurant does it say that you need to go to the counter to order. One server came over to my place to clear my empty dish and took my 1/2 drank beverage and told me she needed a CC to cash out. Never asked if I needed anything else. When i I told her I wasn't done with my beverage she asked if I wanted a refill. Never brought it to me, she filled it and left it at the counter. This was a small little spot in DFW that was close to my gates. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. I was a bit hungry so I snagged the flatbread. I'm short it's a thin crust pizza. It was actually pretty good and hit the spot. If passing through, not a bad place to hangout at. It's a simple bar and have a very limited menu. read more

Neat little place tucked away at the Dallas Fort-worth airport in the C terminal. Extremely small food menu and relatively small beer/wine menu but it is in an airport so understandable. Couple of TVs for your sports viewing pleasure and a handful of seats available. If you're looking for a cold beer or glass of wine I suggest stopping by - but if you're looking for a massive assortment to choose from then this may not be the place. read more

25 minute layover, ordered the brisket quesadilla and it was phenomenal. Came out hot, very flavorful with juicy brisket, and just enough cheese to hold it together. Hidden behind Starbucks near C27. I'll definitely look for them on my next travel. read more

We ordered 4 beers between my sister and I and we also got the soft pretzels. Everything was to be expected. After getting there I realized it was fast food and I had a 4 hour layover so I wanted a relaxed meal. I pasted this location after leaving the sky train. Atmosphere - What you expect from a bar expect the tables. Very few bar spots. Then it is not designed well for the solo fly as the space is filled with a long table. Must people where using as community table, which is common in Europe but not so much in the US. Food Drink - I had an IPA, Basement IPA by Scofflaw Brewing Co., nothing special here. Lunch - Philly Cheese Fondue Chips caught my eye. I will admit I did not read the description but that was pretty lengthy name which should describe what you are getting. Well I was very disappointed in the meal. I hear Philly Cheese I would expect some thinly sliced beef, none on here. I hear Philly Cheese I would expect some cheez whiz, none on here. Fondue means to me a pot of ooey gooey cheese, nope not here. I received kettle potato chips covered in a white cheese sauce and some diced tomatoes, raw purple onions, and green onions. Now I reviewed the menu to see what their description is for the item. But they have two different menus with two different descriptions. The menu for you to review to help make your decision before entering has kettle chips, queso sauce, grilled peppers, caramelized onions while the menu on the bar indicated green onions instead of caramelized. So why are the tomatoes sprinkled on top and the raw purple onions not on the menu. This was really a potato chip nachos. Service - One person working the bar. I sat at the end of the bar and she looked and me without a word being spoken. She walked to the table to take care of them. While she was out and about and other person sat next to me. He was waited on before me. She was very busy but found time to use her cell phone next to the register. Laying your credit card on the bar typically indicates you are ready to settle up, not here. Future - The beer selection is not the best for having beer in their name. So probably not. read more

This is the worst food I have ever tasted at DFW airport. I fly through here 10-12 times per year and always try the different restaurants. Today I tried Beer Union and ordered the turkey bacon sandwich. It was nearly inedible. The sliced meet was grocery store quality, the lettuce was soggy and the bread was so hard I almost broke my teeth. I would normally send back food this distasteful but I only had 30 minutes between flights. Any positives? Yes, the service was quick and the beer was cold. But I will not stop here again due to the poor food quality. read more

Friendly attentive bar tender with a wide range of beers and spirits. This place is pretty low key compared to a place like Cowboys in the main terminal area. It is much smaller so the service is much better but the food selection on the menu is weaker. I would suggest this place if you are looking for drinks and Cowboys if you are looking for food. Amazing service! Kindest staff! I was flying alone today with my two young children and had a two hour layover in Dallas. I really wanted to sit down somewhere clean with yummy food and a drink and this place appeared. It strikes you as a just a bar but they have great food and the staff (Jeff) took wonderful care of us. It really took the edge off the rest of our long travel day! Place is lucky to get a star in such a competitive airport. Every other place was packed to the gills I had no other choice to attend this sorry establishment. Food tasted like it came out of the microwave. Only thing this place did right was over charge me for beverages. I mean $16 for a double jack n coke what is this the ritz? I'm not sure anyone can hold they're food in they consume at this place 10,000 miles high so just be careful on what you order. You know I really liked this place. Cool environment and the bartender was always very nice. This morning I come by for a straw. Just a straw the lady jumps in front of me and yells out NO and gave me a horrible disgusting look. I will never be coming back here. I'll never have another positive thing to say about them.
