We held our Fabulous Fillies alumni luncheon at Hop and Sting brewing and it more than met our fabulousness expectations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place for gatherings![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ate from the delicious Passion Barbq food truck, and drank the tasty craft beers. Service was more fabulousness. Friendly and fun! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entire environment was friendly, clean, relaxed, and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate and drank outside at picnic tables with umbrellas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also had part of the inside reserved for our signins and and cake....plus they let us set up banners for photos.

Flight of IPA goodness.

Hop&Sting - A Mixed Bag of Brews. I visited Hop&Sting on a Saturday evening, eager to unleash my inner hop-head. With six IPAs on tap, I decided to go with a "beertender's choice," hoping for some guided exploration. All the IPAs I tried were distinct and quite good. My personal favorite was a pint of their "She's Intense"--higher ABV, yet surprisingly smooth with no bitter "Sting" on the back end (pun intended!). Now, y'all know I love dogs, and this is a dog-friendly spot, which is a huge plus! The beertenders were friendly, but I found them to be less informative than I'd hoped. There was a missed opportunity here; they didn't ask any questions to help me narrow down my choice among the many IPAs. It felt like a slight misstep in terms of customer engagement and sales. The atmosphere was a bit of a contrast. The indoor space felt small, while the outdoor area was quite large but lacked aesthetic appeal. Beyond a hand-painted logo, it was mostly just picnic tables and umbrellas, giving off a rather plain vibe. The music was also hard to hear, barely audible through a single speaker tucked in a corner. This place actually won Dallas's Best Brewery for 2021, 2022, and 2023, which honestly makes me want to really "beat this place up" on the setting. There are so many ways they could improve the actual ambiance, but the beer truly speaks volumes. Despite my criticisms of the setting, the beer is great, and ultimately, taste wins out. I wanted to give them 5 stars of beer but couldn't because the online menu wasn't working and the aesthetics are so bland. The building is colorful and all but let a local artist have fun with your walls.

This is the MOST AWESOME Craft Brewery in all the Metroplex!!! Their BEER RULES. The nicest staff and the owners are very welcoming and will remember you after a chat your time before. Multiple taps daily, but they lost their Glycol chiller during the hard freeze back in January. Give them a try, help out a neighbor... enjoy some awesome brews...

Local vendor La passion ‍ with a birria taco and elote not pictured lol but delicious IPA

Absolutely amazing and delicious local brewery! Great deals on delicious beer so good! I had a hazy ipa and it was yummerz ! My absolute fav is a good IPA! And the vendor was La passion bbq and they had some amazing birria tacos! So good!! I wish I could've eaten more! I will be back! They also sell burgers with fries until they sell out. The beer just hits the spot , glad they allow vendors because a beer with bbq is a great combo. Service was excellent! [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the location was great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of places to sit ![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also family friendly lol[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Beer isn't my drink of choice, but I surprisingly enjoyed the selection they had to offer here! There is a food truck (Vaqueros TX BBQ) that serves Mexican/Texas BBQ fusion. I personally thought the birria tacos were just okay, but I think they're a separate business from Hop and Sting. I sat outside. The patio is filled with dirt/gravel, so I would be cautious about the shoes/clothes you wear in case they get dirty.

Beautiful and spacious brewery. My friend took me here because there's a wonderful bbq food truck outside the brewery where you can order and bring inside while you sip on your beer. They had plenty of options but we went with a light beer to pair with the bbq food. Plenty of seats outdoor, indoors and on the second floor.

Great beer! Friendly service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place has a nice patio and a small upstairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food trucks too, but we didn't try them yet.

This is a great place to grab great beer and enjoy the outside patio- if the weather is nice, and the food trucks that often come, there's lots of seating inside as well as upstairs you can actually view the brewing process from the inside dining area as well. Parking is somewhat limited so you may need to park down at the end of the street at the rec center parking lot If you can find a time when the barbecue truck is there that's a must because it is absolutely delicious By the way, it's also dog friendly

Found this place by accident in GRAPEVINE. The place is nice and cozy. The staff is awesome, very nice, and inviting. The male bartender took the time to talk to me about the stouts and let me taste their cayane pepper stout, which was ok, but I settled for the under world stout they had, which had a nice flavorful expresso taste. I've had the underworld at another place, and the head was nonexistent here it was nice and thick and smell fantastic. This is a nice chill place.that I would come.back to and bring friend.

I always love going to this Brewery whenever I am in Grapevine! I love the new beers they have and all the selection! Ambiance was pretty cool, we sat inside facing all the glass and the giant metal things with all that love in it We ordered the wheat beer which was awsome, and the Stout coffee flavor it was amazing! Service was great as always, walk up order take your drink and sit down and enjoy

Great outdoor patio!

I see some of the reviews are five years old which makes me wonder how I have never been here before?! Was a great afternoon, although a bit windy, and sitting out on their outdoor patio was great! Tried the Monarch and Aluminum Cowboy, both lagers and both decent beers. From the Vaqueros BBQ food truck, tried the nachos and pitmaster sandwich. Splitting both between two people was more than enough. The nachos alone would have been plenty! Service was as expected; no complaints! Will definitely return!

really good beer selection and they have cans available too. Service was great. Loved the outdoor area and indoors was nicely air conditioned. Def would recommend checking it out.

I made a pitstop at Hop & Sting on a recent business trip and had to check out the local brews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved this place. Relaxed, family oriented Brewery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Loved their brews. Staff were friendly and super helpful.

This use to be a great place to go but the turn over in staff is horrible. They can't keep anyone good.

Seating Bar, high tops, large tables, patio-out door tables and chairs( warmer weather) Service So friendly and attentive Special events We tested out the comedy night and it was excellent! Not like other local venues that have potty mouth, bad word college humor-this was fantastic! 3 comics-very fun! Menu Variety of wines-seasonal and changes per year, cheese and meat plates, chocolates, lava cake. We had a glass of wine each and the lava cake that came with a generous scoop of ice cream. Depending on your party or consumption, a bottle may be more economical. We are members which gives a discount and pick up Party opportunities. We like the cabernet franc and the Texan. After eating at Rodeo Goat, we decided to get some wine at Landon Winery. I liked how there were many high tables available (and it was next to the bar!). I also liked how you can reserve a space for a private party. The only thing that was annoying was the door chime. It was loud and although I understand why they have it - with a large party in the back room, the chime was going on (for what it seems like) every couple of minutes. They had a good selection of wine from dry to sweet - white, red, dessert, and everything in between. They had a lot to choose from. They also sell food such as a charcuterie board.

I visited Texan Station Sports Bar & Grill twice during my stay at the Gaylord Texan Resort &…read moreConvention Center. The first time was for takeout and the second time was to dine in. Texan Station Sports Bar & Grill has a 52-foot flat-panel TV and other wall TVs which makes it a popular gathering spot for sports enthusiasts. The menu consists of a wide selection of draft beers, wine and cocktails along with scrumptious bar bites. It is very spacious inside and there are plenty of tables. I've had the turkey stack which has turkey, Swiss cheese, avocado smash, lettuce, tomato, Italian vinaigrette, garlic mayo on sourdough bread and served with kettle chips. The sandwich was very filling and tasty. The to go menu is more limited than the dine-in menu. I ordered the grapevine burger with fries and the wings. The grapevine burger has one beef patty, American cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomato, dill pickles, comeback sauce on a brioche bun. The burger was very juicy. I really liked the fries because they were seasoned and crispy. I chose garlic parmesan for the wings and it was served with celery and carrots. Food was ready in no time. Texan Station Sports Bar & Grill is a great choice if you staying on the property. Service was friendly and attentive.

The restaurant is very large and open. It has lots of little TVs with one large screen on one wall. Unfortunately a large strip in the middle of the screen was broken which made it fun to watch the World Cup. To drink my husband had the barrel aged old-fashioned and I ordered the pickletini. The old-fashioned was decent but not balanced at all. I was very disappointing and disgusting. I attend several Pickle festivals each year including the World's Largest Pickle Party and help run a few and this drink does a disservice to pickles and pickle lovers everywhere. Other than the pickle garnish, there was NO flavor of pickle anywhere. It was straight kettle one and what tasted like straight vermouth. (Read on to find out why I didn't/couldn't send it back) For appetizers we ordered the buffalo wings and the fried pickles. These were ordered the same time as we ordered our drinks and came out with our cocktails. The wings were standard bar buffalo wings. The fried pickles needed to be dried before being breaded as the breading slid right off of them. They also lacked seasoning. We were unable to order main courses or get my drink replaced as our server never came back to the table. We flagged down 3 other servers who said they would get our server or someone to help but after 45 minutes we got sick of getting the runaround and paid our bill and left. If I were you, I would avoid this sports bar unless you were looking for a standard beer and just some overpriced basic appetizers
