Matt Pelphrey (affectionately known as "Maester Aemon") greeted me with the wisdom and calm you'd expect from the Night's Watch, while Service Director Michael Chernow ("Gru") somehow manages to look like he's plotting to steal the moon but is actually orchestrating outstanding customer service. Together, they're an entertaining duo who make you feel right at home. The dealership is absolutely beautiful, sparkling clean, and every detail reflects pride in the new facility. My Escalade came back looking refreshed, pampered, and in perfect condition--like it had just spent the day at a five-star spa instead of a service appointment. For instance, I was replacing the brake pads on my corvette, and the owner provided me with a few pointers on how to do the job more efficient. Also, as I was making my repairs, the owner was working on additional repairs to my corvette, that was above my skill set (i.e., Flush the brake lines, and flush the radiator to meet manufacture standards). As mentioned above, this particular shop functions as a Do it yourself shop, as well as regular auto shop, whereby one can drop off one auto for regular repairs and maintenance. In a world of shady businesses, this one is truly a gem in the rough, as he's HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. In conclusion, I usually do not trust many people with my Corvette ZHZ, as I have had many bad experiences with mechanics in the past, but I trust Mr. Verdejo to work on my corvette without hesitation, as he has earned my trust and respect.

Hours after dropping my car off to do this test, they call me with an appalling list of things needed to be fixed in my car to the tune of over $3,500. One of which was leaking coolant, which I had fixed less than a year ago elsewhere. I went to my last mechanic to use the warranty from this repair. However, he was able to physically show me that there was no leak. I went to check everything else on this list of repairs Everything Automotive claimed I needed, and only 2 of the 5 repairs were actually true. I agreed to get my mirror changed at Everything Automotive and nothing else. But the owner wouldn't take my no for an answer on getting everything they listed repaired, and tried pressuring me to scare me saying my car was a ticking time-bomb. It wasn't. When I came to get my car an hour after the full diagnostics I didn't ask for was finished, the owner said he needed more time to "do what he needed to do still." Slightly concerning since there was nothing we agreed to repair yet, and of course when leaving, my car ran worse than it did when I got there. As a girl alone in Florida as I finish up my education, it's so disappointing to see the lengths people will go to swindle others. The owner states to have helped lots of fellow students from my school which worries me how many other people were suckered into spending money on things they didn't need from here. Do yourself a favor, and find an honest mechanic like Vimar up the block across the street from Full Sail University to help you with all your needs!

Warning: In my opinion, my experience involved deceptive business practices…read more I called Dynasty Automotive before my appointment and specifically asked two questions: how much the A/C diagnostic would cost and how they would determine what was wrong with my vehicle. I was told the diagnostic would cost about $120 and that they would use a diagnostic tool to identify the problem. After waiting about an hour, I was told they could not diagnose the issue unless I first authorized a $471 A/C recharge, and that I should just let the Freon leak out to see if there was a leak. I was effectively left with two choices: pay about $120 for a "diagnostic" that would provide no diagnosis, or pay $471 for a Freon recharge without knowing whether it would fix the problem, just to continue the diagnosis. Feeling backed into a corner, I approved the recharge. Only after the recharge was completed was I told the evaporator was leaking and given a repair estimate of over $4,100. Later, I was told the dryer listed on the estimate was only a recommendation. What concerned me most were the inconsistent explanations. During my visit, I was told the leak had been identified using water from a water bottle. Later, I was told the recharge was necessary to identify the leak. Those two explanations cannot both be true. I requested a partial refund because I believe the need for a $471 recharge should have been disclosed when I specifically asked how the diagnostic would be performed. My request was denied.

Fortunately for us, Kilgore was able to rebuild our transmission for a fraction of what we would've paid at the dealer. I like knowing that I am getting straight information from a car repair service. I dread bringing my car to certain places because I feel that they are always trying to "upsell" me on what needs to be done. At Kilgore's, I guarantee you won't be told you need extra, unecessary repairs. Kilgore's also has pretty good hours and has a night drop.
