Not least because this is a small town, and pretty much everything is within walking distance. Thus even if the spot you find is down a ways, it still won't be an issue to walk here. This is a smaller, intimate gallery. While most of the art is created by the woman running the place, she does have some small collaborative efforts. The brooches, costume jewelry and skater art swag are in collaboration with other artists. All the art is latin styles and there are some simply epic star wars styled works. The Milagros style pieces are unique, and it goes without saying that the Dia de los Muertos is highly creative. There is also some pop art on premises-a handmade snarky chandelier, fantastically worked skateboards, serape flags (no really), a stranger things waffle painting, cactus planters, and well whatever the house artist is inspired to make. Pricing is at the artists discretion and will range all over the place, but significant creative pleasing originals can be had for less then a hundred bucks, and some of the smaller items go below ten, which is a total bargain for work that is both creative, modern and very well done. If you are so inclined, the artist has been known do commissioned pieces(such as a portrait) but that's something you'll have to work out with her. Overall it's a newer, smaller, and the most creative art shop along the main downtown drag.

They've shifted down a block to the old bank building which offers a much better (and larger) showroom. The owners have kept the spirit of the old location but have adapted it to a much much better building. no leaks, and it has air conditioning and heating which is much appreciated and is in no way underrated. Given the new digs it's much easier to see the variety and quality of the furniture along with easier pickup options. Overall there is a lot more to see from high end french styled house furnishings to smaller nicky nacky items and foo foo soaps. It still remains worth a browse for those looking for gifts or those looking to finish a living room set.

I visited Old Mission Candle by accident--The best accident BTW!…read more I was visiting one of our sponsors and walked past this adorable corner office that permeated with a delicate warm smell. It had a full glass door that you can see all the candles setting. They had this eclectic entry table outside of their door with a plethora of sample bags with tea lights; along with a brochure and coupon. I am a huge candle lover and also fellow business owner, and was taken away that they would offer free candles and a coupon on the honor system! ( I mean.. free candles! ). I used one of the tea lights before bed while I read for a few hours, it lasted 3 nights of reading! A tea light! ... and also had this aromatic smell.. This is a hidden gem, quality products! If I can have a tea light go for 9-12 hours! Wow.
