What makes this even more frustrating is that their website clearly states that takeout is available. I completely understand if a restaurant needs to temporarily pause takeout due to staffing issues or a busy night, but if that's the case, the website should be updated or customers should be given an explanation. Instead, I was simply turned away. In a small community, supporting local businesses is important, and I always try to do that. There is a large bar with a great selection of wine, spirits and beer. The team serving us was welcoming and attentive. They knew their wines and were happy to make great recommendations. We had 15 people total and needed food for that amount. I requested the food weeks in advance, took about a week to hear back. When I did, Gustavo told me what I should order for that amount of people. I took his advice and ordered the fajitas both chicken and steak, rice, beans, salsa, guacamole and chips. We finalized the details over email, he sent an invoice with the pick up time and price. Well, the day arrives my husband goes over at the agreed pick up time and it was like I never put a catering order in! He shows them the invoice and they did finally get our order made but it took over 30 mins. They were apologetic at least. When he got back and we opened the food the tray of fajitas had mostly bell peppers, definitely not enough meat for 15 people! Also don't expect the fajitas to come with tortillas apparently you have to order those separately which I didn't realize. We ended up running to the grocery store to buy tortillas. I hate to give 1 star because the food was really good but my catering experience was very disappointing.
