I'll mention that my guy friend and I are as white as they come and I was nervous going to this establishment as it's obviously geared towards the Hispanic community. I mention the race thing because unless you've been living under a rock, there's always a divide between Hispanics and whites and whatever and a lot of the community assumes it's too dangerous to be downtown at night because of that fact. I was born and raised in Gilroy I know how it goes . However I refuse to let that keep anybody from relaxing and having a good time..it's ridiculous to hate for no reason. At the same time, there appeared to be a few other manager-type employees, including the hostess, walking around while the actual service staff seemed stretched thin. It felt like the restaurant could have benefited from additional servers or bussers rather than having so many people overseeing the floor. Overall, the food was great and the restaurant itself is beautiful, but the service and atmosphere made the experience uncomfortable and disappointing.
