During the wedding she made sure all the vendors delivered what they needed as well as kept the entire wedding on track, which is hard to do with 200 people. The ceremony started on-time and everything else went timely and smoothly. Kayla was available to all my guests, answered their questions and kept smiling the entire time. Being a very type A person, giving away control 1 month out from the biggest day of our lives was something I thought we would struggle with, and it couldn't have been more of the opposite. Both Lisa and Ryan are very good at what they do, they know what works and what doesn't and made sure to work side by side with us the entire time. We even had moments where we saw things differently and they had no problem speaking up during those times. We really appreciated that as we didn't always need a "yes" person around us. They have planned many a event and will work through all the bumps in the road to make sure that our day was perfect.. and it was. They responded to our questions and requests quickly and the necessary advice for a first-time bride and groom. They handled all of the vendor challenges and always had our best interest in mind. They were very receptive to feedback and guided us through decisions that aligned with our budget and design goals. They also attempted to curate and present choices that reflected our personalities - they made consistent efforts to get to know us each step of the way, which helped make our wedding truly feel like ours. They crafted presentations (even these were beautiful!) with options for each vendor, including the costs and their portfolio so that we would be able to make informed decisions They helped us handle all communication and negotiations of pricing with our vendors In the end, we definitely had an A+ team to have the wedding beyond our dreams. I am in awe and filled with immense appreciation and gratitude for what they do. The week of our wedding, my coworkers were surprised that I was so calm. It was an odd feeling as there were no worries to be had and we were just able to focus on making sure our families were getting into town okay. On the day of the wedding, Jenn made sure our tea ceremony was set up and ready to go while Morgan handled set up at the venue. They made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout the day. There were some family issues/hiccups that they took care of for us so gracefully that no one noticed anything was amiss. There were many reasons I chose Jenn from the get-go: prior to even booking her, she was already going above and beyond to get in touch with our venue and other vendors I was interested in. Our venue initially told us we could only use a planner, caterer, and DJ from their approved list...but Jenn's experience in the industry and being the "voice" for her brides allowed us to book her as well as other vendors that were not originally on the "approved" list. Being detail-oriented myself, I knew I had picked the right planner when all of my other vendors told me "she is the queen of details" when they found out who our coordinator was! I'm so grateful we had Jenn by our sides throughout the planning process, as she was able to take my ideas and give her recommendations to make things even better (I went from thinking I wanted only white and green florals to having colorful bouquets and arrangements and I'm so glad Jenn helped to change my mind on that one)! Where to start!?…read more Well, first of all, this review is far overdue. I had the most beautiful wedding on December 28, 2019. I hired Stephanie and A Daydream Wedding about three months prior to my wedding date. Initially, I thought I would be able to organize the perfect wedding all on my own. I quickly learned that I am not cut out for that and I would need some assistance. I was worried that it was too close to the wedding to hire a planner, at that point. But, I went ahead and emailed ADW and Stephanie PROMPTLY replied to my inquiry. I was communicating with a couple of planners simultaneously so figure out who I felt would be the best match and Stephanie stood out among the rest EXPONENTIALLY! She was so comfortable and easy to talk to right off the bat. She was quick with her responses, and I really felt that it was important to Stephanie to get to know ME and what my personal preferences were. Throughout the entire process, I felt like the services were tailored to me, and I wasn't being served based on some generic template. Everything about Stephanie's services felt so personalized. Let me also mention that I am in remission from leukemia, and I had recently had a bone marrow transplant. So my energy is quite low and my memory is nowhere near "good." Stephanie was so patient with me throughout our time together. She was kind in reminding me of dates and keeping me on track with scheduling, which is SO helpful for someone like me. It was important for me to work with someone understanding and patient, and I found that in Stephanie. Stephanie constantly reassured me that we would be able to work with the time given and she worked extremely hard to find me the best vendors that fit my specific needs and most importantly - BUDGET! Throughout the course of our work together, Stephanie would keep her eye out for decor, desserts, vendors, bridesmaids dresses etc. that would be of interest to me and would text / email suggestions regularly. Even if you have no idea where to start (with anything), Stephanie has a full arsenal of beauticians, DJ's (SHOUT OUT TO DJ BERNIE!), photographers, bakeries, decor rentals... the list goes on! She is well equipped and a true professional in her craft. The day of the wedding, Stephanie was sure to make sure I was thoroughly taken care of. She checked on me throughout the day to ensure all my needs were tended to, she picked up on queues (for instance, she noticed the guests were hounding the head table and had the DJ make a little announcement so my new husband and I could sit to enjoy dinner), and she kept everyone and everything on schedule to the minute!
