Jenn and Morgan are the absolute best! They took care of us from start to finish. As working individuals with odd schedules, we went with the Full Service and Planning package. We had multiple goals during the planning process - to make sure the wedding at our expansive venue still felt like us, to make sure our guests had a good time, and to have everything planned to the point where we'd just show up and be present. During the planning process: They worked around our schedules. We would sometimes have to meet after work hours but in between, we would respond via text or email for any quick decisions. They were very receptive to feedback and guided us through decisions that aligned with our budget and design goals. They also attempted to curate and present choices that reflected our personalities - they made consistent efforts to get to know us each step of the way, which helped make our wedding truly feel like ours. They crafted presentations (even these were beautiful!) with options for each vendor, including the costs and their portfolio so that we would be able to make informed decisions They helped us handle all communication and negotiations of pricing with our vendors In the end, we definitely had an A+ team to have the wedding beyond our dreams. I am in awe and filled with immense appreciation and gratitude for what they do. The week of our wedding, my coworkers were surprised that I was so calm. It was an odd feeling as there were no worries to be had and we were just able to focus on making sure our families were getting into town okay. On the day of the wedding, Jenn made sure our tea ceremony was set up and ready to go while Morgan handled set up at the venue. They made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout the day. There were some family issues/hiccups that they took care of for us so gracefully that no one noticed anything was amiss. We were able to mingle and take pictures with our guests without worrying about anything else. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the wedding. Our vendors have even commented on how thorough and thoughtful they were in helping with managing timelines. Our wedding was a week ago and we are still receiving compliments with requests for all our vendors. I've been putting off writing this review for over 4 months because I truly don't know how to express in words how thankful we were to have Jenn coordinate our wedding. There were many reasons I chose Jenn from the get-go: prior to even booking her, she was already going above and beyond to get in touch with our venue and other vendors I was interested in. Our venue initially told us we could only use a planner, caterer, and DJ from their approved list...but Jenn's experience in the industry and being the "voice" for her brides allowed us to book her as well as other vendors that were not originally on the "approved" list. Being detail-oriented myself, I knew I had picked the right planner when all of my other vendors told me "she is the queen of details" when they found out who our coordinator was! I'm so grateful we had Jenn by our sides throughout the planning process, as she was able to take my ideas and give her recommendations to make things even better (I went from thinking I wanted only white and green florals to having colorful bouquets and arrangements and I'm so glad Jenn helped to change my mind on that one)! Jenn Robirds Events went above and beyond to plan our dream wedding! We did full service planning for a two-part wedding: ceremony on a ship and reception at a yacht club. We worked closely with Lead Planner Morgan Thompson and shared our vision with her. She kept our ideas in mind, and took our wedding beyond what we imagined! She helped us find our reception venue then nail down our vendors. She took it a step further and helped make our details with invitations, escort display and dinner one-of-a-kind and memorable for our guests! Our friends and family LOVED and commented a lot on our invitations! Many of our guests remarked on how amazing Morgan was as a planner. Our officiant even said she was the best he had ever worked with! There were a lot of moving parts on our wedding day - changing locations, coordinating shuttles, timing out our reception dinner with different courses to make the evening flow - and the wedding went smoothly! Where do I even begin...Jenn Robirds is absolutely amazing and I can't thank her enough for the perfect wedding she helped plan for me. When I started the wedding planning process I knew I needed someone to help coordinate to a certain extent. I met with a few planners who just didn't make the cut...they either seemed to lack detail or just didn't have the experience. When I met with Jenn for the first time, I knew after 5 minutes that she was the one. She has a ton of experience with a wide array of weddings and events. After talking with her we settled on a partial planning package because I had already booked some of the larger vendors. From the first day we signed the contract, Jenn was always available via text or email and if she was ever going to be unavailable she would let me know. We had conveniently already booked a photographer and videographer that she had already worked with and she helped me booked hair, makeup, floral, and calligraphy vendors that were amazing. I loved my venue but we needed to rent a lot of things to make it the way I wanted it for the day. The room for dinner could be fairly dark and manly so I wanted to make sure it was elegant and classic. Jenn met us at Celebrations Party Rentals and went through everything that we would need from chargers, to utensils, to tablecloths. She helped the vision come alive right in front of us and the day of, my jaw practically dropped on the day of when I saw the set up. My husband is obsessed with candles and we told her about that one the first meeting. She remembered it, brought it up a few times and there were candles absolutely everywhere the day of which made it beautiful and elegant. The one thing that I think sets Jenn apart from other wedding planners I've talked to is her attention to detail. Thank you Google for bringing me to Jenn Robirds. I had talked to two other Sacramento-based wedding planners prior to finding Jenn, but after speaking with her, I knew my search was over. I loved her energy and was eager to book her immediately. I don't even know where to begin to describe what an amazing planner Jenn is. She was always so on top of everything - it's crazy how many clients and weddings she has on her plate yet it felt like she was always giving us her undivided attention. Jenn is absolutely amazing! I've always been on the fence about getting a wedding coordinator because of the cost, but after reading my gospel, Martha Stewart's Weddings, which stated that hiring a wedding coordinator will pay for itself in the end, I can vouch that is absolutely true. Jenn helped me stay on budget by finding me an incredible photographer for just $2000, that's an insane price. Most photographers of the caliber I hired usually charges around $4000 - $5000. The other way Jenn really helped me saved money is her ability to make beautiful floral arrangements. She's a licensed florist and she will also help you get fresh flowers at wholesale. For the amount of work she did and the amount I spent on flowers (which is minimal if you're looking into florist), she helped me save about another $1,500 with the quality she provided. The whole wedding experience was extremely relaxing. Jenn helped arrange all of the food tastings, vendor meetings, vendor confirmations, and most importantly, any emergency the day/week of the wedding. She probably dealt with a good three through four emergencies the day of the wedding, which I never knew of until after the event. I was so relaxed the week of my wedding, I even had time to make homemade marshmallows as an extra favor at the dessert table. What I really like about Jenn is how thoughtful she is regarding your design aesthetic and vision. She is constantly thinking of ways to add tiny detail to make the day more about you. read more

I don't even know where to begin with Jenn. When we first met, I told my husband that we had to hire her and that I knew she was our planner. On the day of our wedding Jenn and her team put my private estate wedding together seamlessly (if there were hiccups, I had no idea). When it came to the details, Jenn is the woman for the job. Everything that I cared about was taken care of, things that I did not know I cared about where taken care of. Her team did the flowers for our day as well, they were lovely, fresh, and created exactly what we wanted. We had a cereal bar at our reception that was designed by her team as well. Jenn is nothing short of incredible. I went with her full-service package because I was working and going to school for my B.S. full-time when I started the wedding planning process. She was excellent at every stage, taking time to fully understand what I was looking for before making vendor/ venue recommendations, saving us time and wasted energy. I also used her floral services and literally couldn't have been happier. They turned out PERFECT. I'm the pickiest human alive, but Jenn nailed exactly what I was envisioning. The day-of was flawless.
