Despite the worn carpeting on the public hallways, I would highly recommend staying at the Hilton Brussels Grand Place.

The gentleman who served us breakfast, both mornings we were there, did a great job finding out what we did and did not want and making adjustments our second morning. Just note that you must book and pay for breakfast the day before. The cost of 15 euros was very reasonable given the size and variety of the breakfast food offered. On our day of departure, we asked them to book us a taxi to Brunelles-Midi (Brussels-Zuid) train station. After they called for a taxi, we all found out that there was a transit worker strike that also impacted taxis in the city; yikes! The owner said she would take us to the station for 15 euros, which is about what a taxi would have cost. This saved our day, and we are very grateful! Our only suggestion would be to have somewhat better lighting in the rooms.

The pillows are too soft for my liking - I need more neck support than the average person. My wife was fine with the soft pillows. The linens were clean, white, comfortable. Not a fan of tiny coffees, and that's what's in the room. Tiny coffee mugs, with tiny handhold loops I can't work my pinky through haha. We never had the breakfast at the hotel. Always walked for breakfast outside to explore more and new things. It did look really good though. And for €20 each it's reasonable for what they offer. We had dinner there two nights. It was good and consistently good. Great staff and service too. Would definitely stay here again, no question.
