We were not expecting such delicious pizza in small town of McMinnville ... but we were truly blown away by these pies! After a day of volunteering at a nearby orchard, one of the coordinators picked up some lunch for us at Begonias. I got to try a slice of both their classic pepperoni pizza and their signature hot honey chicken. Both had a nice ratio of toppings to slice, and the crust was crispy and wood-fired. I also got to try some of their Greek Salad, which was incredibly fresh and paired well with their house-made balsamic vinaigrette. If you ever find yourself in this little slice of Middle TN, I highly recommend stopping into Begonias! read more

This was certainly a solid gastropub. I tried the white bean hummus with pesto. It was a remarkable collection of flavors. This place stays open for us every year after our show when our band comes through town. They're so cool and fun. Fantastic service, the ambiance, vibe and music is always on point and the PIZZA... holy mother it's incredible. We ordered so many different pizzas and tried em all. The BBQ is the best bbq pizza I've ever had by FAR. Really bbq, roasted, pickled onions, sweet but not too sweet. Oh wow it was amazing. We went here on a Friday night and arrived before the crowd did. Nice quiet atmosphere. Once the crowd arrived the noise picked up a little. They offer both inside and outdoor seating. We were greeted at the door and were quickly seated. We started with the white hummus and it came with warm bread . I ordered "The Mac" pizza and found out it was wood fired it was quite delicious. Could only eat half of it. My wife had the buffalo chicken Mac, it came with a large chicken breast. A huge amount of Mac and cheese with the chicken drizzled with buffalo sauce. My son had the chicken cordon blue with a side of Mac and cheese that was cooked in a small iron skillet. We will be back to try other items since they have a good menu. read more

We arrived not knowing what to expect. A co-worker recommended this restaurant to me and I will have to thank her this week when I see her. The service, food and atmosphere exceeded my expectations. The service was friendly and our server was happy to answer our questions about the restaurant and the food as well. The Garlic Confit, our appetizer, was a tasty, garlicky intro and left me wanting to order another one! The Alfredo Shrimp Fettuchine was rich and decadent, with large shrimp to boot! This is a great little pizza/gastropub in McMinnville. I love that I don't have to drive to the "big city" of Murfreesboro to get a decent pizza! I've been her a handful of time with my teens, and we leave satisfied each time. We LOVE the garlic bread appetizer! The menu of pizza specialties is creative, and we've enjoyed every one that we've tried. (I basically love anything with hot honey!) And everyone always eats their crust! That's a true testament of good pizza, in my family's opinion! It's a cute little restaurant, nothing fancy. Not a lot of seating, but I've never had to stand around waiting. For nicer days, there is an outdoor seating area. Service is always good. I just wish all the servers would write down our orders every time. I get it. I was a server, too. I believed my mind was a steel trap. But mistakes can happen, and that can cause little frustrations! (I'm pretty easygoing when it comes to service!) Hello dear reader. To start it off, amazing food. Great and kind staff that are always ready to help however they can. I got the goat cheese pizza and as a puffy crust lover this pizza was a solid 9/10. The place gives a very cool vibe with black interior and very comfortable seats. One of my favorite things I saw here was the hand tossing of the pizza. So few establishments still hand toss their pizzas and it's quite satisfying to watch lol. But nothing bad to say and I would definitely return to this place. My entire family enjoyed their food throughly and we will definitely return to this place someday!! This is a hidden gem in downtown. McMinnville Tennessee. I am real pizza oven in the back. The pizza was absolutely delicious though. Was perfect and cooked to perfection. The Greek salad was really delicious. 1 pizza, 1 large salad enough for 4 people. They have a variety of different beers and ciders. I got a kombucha beer. in the back with a TV bar area. I've only ever had excellent meals here. For such a small town, this is an unexpected quality of food quality and taste. Been in Tennessee for eight years now and this is our favorite pizza we've visited so far. We generally go during non-peak dining times so we've never had to wait for a table. For an appetizer, I would recommend the cheese bread over the garlic bread. The leftover pizza reheats well, which can't be said of other restaurants we've tried. We ordered a pizza with feta cheese, but our server later informed us that they were out and offered us a substitute. "The Florentine" pizza was very tasty. It took about 25 minutes to get our order which felt long because there wasn't that many people there, but the pizzas did come out hot and fresh.
