The curb appeal is okay. It does have a fairly grand entrance. Inside is quirky and rustic. Plenty…read moreof seating options, both in the bar and the dining room. We arrived at 6:45 - party of 4. Got a table immediately. I had a small appetite and chose the salad buffet and a cup of soup. The buffet has a generous selection and I really enjoyed it. The soup was delicious. Service was prompt and we were eating by 7:05. Everyone enjoyed their meals. And no one had any complaints.

The woman at the Beechcraft Heritage Museum recommended this place and, based on how often we heard…read moreher mention it, I am convinced she says it about thirty times a day. She deserves a commission, because it absolutely worked on us. And honestly, it delivered. Now that I live in Texas, I am becoming quite the barbecue aficionado, working my way through all the regional styles this country has to offer. Tennessee BBQ?? - sign me up! This stop was well worth adding to the list. We were seated quickly and decided to split a combo plate, the Barrelhead (something?). It is exactly what you want from a combo. Brisket, ribs, chicken, cornbread, and two sides. We went with the sweet potato casserole and onion rings. The standout items were the ribs and that sweet potato casserole. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and the kind you keep reaching for even when you are already full. The casserole was rich and comforting, easily one of the best sides on the table. The chopped brisket was a bit on the dry side, and I found myself wishing we had asked for sliced brisket instead. This feels like the kind of place that would happily accommodate that kind of request. The cornbread was just okay, nothing memorable, but not a dealbreaker. Even with 2 of us splitting the plate, we still had leftovers, which is always a win and Wayne the dog who enjoyed them - would give it 2 paws up!. The four of us could not resist trying one of the newer desserts, the peach cobbler with ice cream. It comes out warm in a small cast iron dish, which is always a good sign. I do not know why I keep expecting fresh peaches in these desserts, they are almost always canned, but it did not matter. The dish was completely cleaned out in minutes.

It's White Castle under a different name . I used to like these when I was in NY but didn't see any down here. They were good except I think they put mustard on their sliders . They're a lot more expensive than WC. I used to get 4 burgers fries and a drink for like 8-9 bucks . They had a 5 burgers fries fries drink for like 16 . That's just crazy . In any event I enjoyed them but not the 18 dollar price including delivery.

We…read moreare familiar with White Castle and knew Krystal would be similar, offering small slider style sandwiches with a hot steamed bun, loads of onions and small square patties. We ordered a 12 slider combo which came with two fries and two drinks as well. We were not disappointed! The drive-thru service was friendly and relatively quick even though it was late at night. All of our food was hot and fresh and our order was correct. The sliders were deliciously greasy and onion-y and also come with pickles and mustard (slightly different than a traditional White Castle slider). I actually enjoyed the thicker cut French fries more than White Castle's crinkle cut. All in all, it was precisely what we were craving to take the edge off our hunger post-concert.
