I use a cane do it was clear I have mobility issues. She just looked at me like I was a speck of dirt and said that the doctor was at lunch and I could not be seen, delivered in a starts with an F and ends with an off tone. So I did just that. No attempt to see if the doctor could see me, no attempt to rebook. Since I and their other patients pay their salaries, I expect more respectful treatment. I've had joint/knee issues for a majority of my life (loose ligaments, bunions, carpel tunnel…read morehotness, every joint in my body cracking for no reason, obscure double jointedness but not in a cool kind of way, etc.) and his reccomendation wasn't unnecesary surgery, it was proper excercise. I'm a runner, I lift weights, and I love hiking - prior to Dr. Gluck general practioners said, "well, just do no impact excercises" to which i replied, "i don't understand". I was prepared with this entire explanation of how low/no impact excercise simply wasn't an option for me, and i didn't even need it. Apparently, excercise (in my case) actually HELPS with my loose ligaments, wouldn't you know, building the muscles around the areas which support those ligaments is actually better than complete neglect? I have to go back to him to get a Doctor's note to get an ergonomic keyboard and mouse for work (to match my pocket protector and horned rim glasses), and am glad to do so. Also, the location is right around many other doctors as well as the PW hospital, so depending on what you need, it's possible to knock out a few doctors appointments in one day (particularly if you don't work anywhere near manassas and driving out there to go to the doctor is a pain).

Then she walked away saying you will go to waiting room next, I said now , she said yes hateful, so went to waiting room to be waiting past my appointment time , and I was told Dr Patel has to leave early so I could only take 1 halcium instead of 2 so then why am I still waiting? Then another nurse comes to waiting room to give me the second pill, I said I thought I could only take one , she nicely said I'm giving you the 2nd one because I'll be in the room with you , so I said ok because At least you are nice, so now I'm waiting again so who knows what will happen next , If you haven't been here yet I would keep looking , office staff and the Mexican nurse is so rude, I will definitely be looking for another place to go to where you are actually cared for, I see men are treated better so maybe that's the problem..I also saw same thing happen with office staff , they get off the phone with a patient and talk about them not in good way,come on now you can be heard and it's really wrong and sad

At that appointment I was seen by a PA who said since the esi did not work they would not do the trigger point injections. No understandable reason why. Five minute appointment they charged my insurance over $300 for and really could have just told me that over the phone. I really don't like that my dr. referred me for two different procedures and I only received one.
