Fun spot. We happened on this location on an anniversary day. There was some live music planned and a food truck. They have a few ipa offerings , some darker beer offerings and a seltzer option. We tried two ipas and the seltzer. All were good the seltzer isn't sweet and light fruit flavoring. The iPa's were light and not hoppy. We enjoyed the vibe and it was a good crowd . Service was good and everyone was helpful. They allowed you to taste prior to ordering which is helpful! read more

I may not have hit this place at what for me was the ideal time. Nice weather and they have an attractive beer garden. Unfortunately playing in that garden were a group of 50s or 60 something men running through hits from the 60s and 70s . Not my thing. Cute brewery with a cool indoor vibe. Fun place to hang out. Best beer we tried was the ESB , others were good as well. Laid back outdoor area with corn hole, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and fire pits. Food truck was efficient and food was tasty. Right off the Cape May County bike trail. My girlfriend and I stopped in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in March. It just opened about a year ago so it is one of the newest additions to the South Jersey brewery scene, and a welcome addition it is! Pros: The place has ample parking. A nice outdoor area with ping pong and other games. A nice indoor space with a large three-sided bar, and a separate room with a few couches, a fireplace and giant tv above the fireplace which was showing one of the Hunger Games movies without the sound. Clean bathrooms. Friendly employees. Great merchandise. A ton of bear puns if you're into that. Overall just a really cozy, fun place to hang out for a few hours. Cons: We each tried a flight, so eight different beers. None of it really stood out to us or really wowed us. Because they're new, I think it takes some time for a brewery to figure out its lineup of staples before they start trying out new and innovative beers. We'll definitely be back to see what they come up with. I'll also say that there was some sticker shock on the price of the flights. For two flights of four, 4 oz pours we paid $39.66 after tax. Really enjoyed the ambiance of this brewery! Had comfort seating and outdoor seating as well. I shared a flight with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised by the Rick which is a cucumber dill beer. Tasted like pickles which was great for me because I loveee pickles! All of our other choices were crisp and refreshing as well. Although we did not partake, they do also offer a small food menu. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

We stopped in yesterday (Thursday). Took the tour and enjoyed some beers. My favorite is the shandy. My boyfriend got a flight and then enjoyed a larger glass of the Shandy and the Winnie. It's such a great place. Friendly staff and friendly customers. We talked to a couple who was down to paint the family shore house and some guys doing work on a home nearby. I like that! We decided to go back today. I got the shandy again and my boyfriend got the Winnie. More crowded today, which I anticipated as it's the start of the weekend. We also were able to meet the owners who were both tending the bar. Friendly and great! Looking forward to making that a place we always stop at when we are down the shore! read more

After visiting 127 breweries all throughout New Jersey, I thought I would add the relatively new Behr Brewing to the list. Behr joins many other excellent breweries in Cape May County, which might have the best county in the state for them. I would recommend going if you are in Cape May County anyway and want to hit a few different breweries and wineries. They are located outside the downtown Cape May area. I was pleasantly surprised that they have a really beautifully crafted interior with lots and lots of stained wood. I guess you'd call it roughly "country barnhouse." Both men and women would enjoy hanging out here. It is not a strip mall, main street, or industrial brewery. Their bar area is U-shaped and relatively spacious. They also have an adjoining section with lots of comfy, plush seating. The off-season crowd is chill and mostly blue collar. Overall, I felt very comfortable going there. The staff were very welcoming and nice, but they didn't ask too many intrusive questions. Very balanced mood! All I got was one flight. The four beers all had a honey, sweet theme to them on the day I went. While it is a good thing that a brewery should have a distinctive style, each beer should also stand on its own, too. But I was not so thrilled with the beers, that I felt I needed to bring a growler or cans home. read more

I attended an event here the other day and it was my first time being here. You walk into a cozy fireplace setting and feel like you are in a cabin. It was cute and different from the other breweries in the area. The bar is adjacent to the fireplace area. They didn't have as many beers on tap as some of the other breweries, but every one of their beers they had was great. I got their Kolcsh and loved it. They aren't always around at other local places so I was excited to see it. My other friends tried the tangerine beer and there was a 9% one as well and they each enjoyed their drinks. I would definitely come back, this had the perfect wintery look for the season. The parking lot was a good size as well if you wanted to come as a group. read more

Cool new brewery not to far off the beaten path. I thought the brews were very tasty for a new establishment serving their beer to mass quantities. Only 5 selections but it was packed in the off season. Great little spot to try new beers with friends. I recommend you give them a shot! read more

This was our first time at Behr Brewing. They have a really nice selection of beers. Beautiful interior and bar. I got a flight and sat outside at one of the many tables out back. Three and a half rounded up to four. Behr Brewing has a lovely space. The interior is cozy and unique, and boasts cool art and a lovely reclaimed wood bar. The outdoor space is also very well-done, with beautiful planters and comfortable seating with shade in a semi-wooded atmosphere. The beers were not quite to my taste. The Kolsch, pale ale, and shandy were all maltier than I prefer (though I suspect the shandy was part Kolsch, to be fair). I tried their stout, and it was ok. Maybe their style just doesn't align with mine, or maybe I should have tried another variety, but the beers themselves weren't my favorite. That said, I think Behr is still worth a visit to enjoy the ambiance especially on a nice sunny day. read more

Nice fit-out on the interior including a wood fireplace for the colder months. Bar was attractive with some nice wood accents. The Behr (bear) theme is incorporated throughout including some easter eggs. Basic pale ale lacked any real flavor but not offensive. Double IPA was much better but way too sweet. Hop profile not bad but they need to tamp down the sweetness on the palate and find the right balance with the bitterness. Black Cherry seltzer had an awful sulfur nose, but the taste was ok. Needs to be fixed ASAP. Outside area is a bunch of plastic tables and wooden picnic table on worn out grass. Area could use some definite improvement. Was there right around sunset and as soon as the sun dropped the mosquitos were ravenous. No citronella candles or torches which are a must in this area. They did have a bunch of bug spray cans sitting in a pile but c'mon. Newer brewery so always room to improve. Will I be back? Not for a couple of months while they work out some of these fixable issues. read more
