    Behr !!

Cute brewery with a cool indoor vibe. Fun place to hang out. Best beer we tried was the ESB , others were good as well. Laid back outdoor area with corn hole, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and fire pits. Food truck was efficient and food was tasty. Right off the Cape May County bike trail. Give it a try, I bet you'll like it. Cool merch, love their logo and the ball caps.

My girlfriend and I stopped in on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in March. It just opened about a year ago so it is one of the newest additions to the South Jersey brewery scene, and a welcome addition it is! Pros: The place has ample parking. A nice outdoor area with ping pong and other games. A nice indoor space with a large three-sided bar, and a separate room with a few couches, a fireplace and giant tv above the fireplace which was showing one of the Hunger Games movies without the sound. Clean bathrooms. Friendly employees. Great merchandise. A ton of bear puns if you're into that. Overall just a really cozy, fun place to hang out for a few hours. Cons: We each tried a flight, so eight different beers. None of it really stood out to us or really wowed us. Because they're new, I think it takes some time for a brewery to figure out its lineup of staples before they start trying out new and innovative beers. We'll definitely be back to see what they come up with. I'll also say that there was some sticker shock on the price of the flights. For two flights of four, 4 oz pours we paid $39.66 after tax. That seems a bit much.

CAPE MAY: Behr Brewing is a family owned craft brewery with a great beer list and a beautiful property. The Gaylord pumpkin beer is excellent! The outdoor "Behr Garden" is pet friendly with comfortable backyard vibes and picnic tables, fire pits, and cornhole. You can enter through the wooden gate in the back. Bring your own food and you are set for the afternoon.

Really enjoyed the ambiance of this brewery! Had comfort seating and outdoor seating as well. I shared a flight with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised by the Rick which is a cucumber dill beer. Tasted like pickles which was great for me because I loveee pickles! All of our other choices were crisp and refreshing as well. Although we did not partake, they do also offer a small food menu. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

    Hard seltzer and the shandy

We stopped in yesterday (Thursday). Took the tour and enjoyed some beers. My favorite is the shandy. My boyfriend got a flight and then enjoyed a larger glass of the Shandy and the Winnie. It's such a great place. Friendly staff and friendly customers. We talked to a couple who was down to paint the family shore house and some guys doing work on a home nearby. I like that! We decided to go back today. I got the shandy again and my boyfriend got the Winnie. More crowded today, which I anticipated as it's the start of the weekend. We also were able to meet the owners who were both tending the bar. Friendly and great! Looking forward to making that a place we always stop at when we are down the shore!

After visiting 127 breweries all throughout New Jersey, I thought I would add the relatively new Behr Brewing to the list. Behr joins many other excellent breweries in Cape May County, which might have the best county in the state for them. I would recommend going if you are in Cape May County anyway and want to hit a few different breweries and wineries. They are located outside the downtown Cape May area. I was pleasantly surprised that they have a really beautifully crafted interior with lots and lots of stained wood. I guess you'd call it roughly "country barnhouse." Both men and women would enjoy hanging out here. It is not a strip mall, main street, or industrial brewery. Their bar area is U-shaped and relatively spacious. They also have an adjoining section with lots of comfy, plush seating. The off-season crowd is chill and mostly blue collar. Overall, I felt very comfortable going there. The staff were very welcoming and nice, but they didn't ask too many intrusive questions. Very balanced mood! All I got was one flight. The four beers all had a honey, sweet theme to them on the day I went. While it is a good thing that a brewery should have a distinctive style, each beer should also stand on its own, too. But I was not so thrilled with the beers, that I felt I needed to bring a growler or cans home.

Cool new brewery not to far off the beaten path. I thought the brews were very tasty for a new establishment serving their beer to mass quantities. Only 5 selections but it was packed in the off season. Great little spot to try new beers with friends. I recommend you give them a shot!

Enjoyed sitting out back with a beer. Nice place with friendly staff. Tried the Winnie and the stout. Both were good. Went to a winery afterwards that wasn't great. Should've stayed here.

This was our first time at Behr Brewing. They have a really nice selection of beers. Beautiful interior and bar. I got a flight and sat outside at one of the many tables out back. Beers were good and staff was helpful. I really enjoyed the King Nummy. Flights are four five-ounce pours in nice glassware. Great logo. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Highly recommend.

The lineup on tap included several limited releases, which was what I was hoping for. I tasted a few different ones and the seasonal, but at the end went back to my old reliable variations of hazy IPAs. I did the tasting flight that comes with a souvenir glass, and you should too. We stopped in right at opening on a fall weekend, so it was quiet, which actually made it easy to take our time (and to visit with a 10-week-old that I was not sharing with) but I can see it getting packed pretty easily.

First, we were seated in the back where the wait station and door to kitchen was located and staff was just standing around. Server was nice and attentive and our food (just appetizers) were good. The issue we had was the overly aggressive bussers who kept trying to take our plates away even when it was apparent that we were not finished. This happened several times. We dislike when dirty dishes are left in front of us but this was over the top and intrusive. With so many options around town, we likely won't be back.

The beer selection is always impressive, with plenty of options to satisfy just about every taste. Service can be hit or miss depending on when you visit and who's working, but that's often the case at busy shore destinations. My family stops here on almost every trip to our home on the Cape May Bay, so we've experienced it at its best and busiest. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a popular shore restaurant. And yes, if you know about the bathroom situation, you know--it really deserves a permanent fix rather than another temporary patch. The menu offers something for everyone. The pizzas are consistently good, the bar food delivers exactly what you'd expect, and there are several signature dishes that are always reliable and full of flavor. When the restaurant gets crowded, you'll definitely notice it in both the service and the overall vibe, but that's just part of the shore experience. Overall, I'd recommend giving it a try. Go in with realistic expectations during peak times, and chances are you'll have a great meal. We almost always do, and I think you will too.

A lovely greeting on entrance. My wife and I used to work at an iconic eatery in phila called Taylor's country store and both of us looked at each other and said we get the same vibes. The decorations were just what you'd hope for in an eclectic little restaurant. Located on the edge of the villas maybe 15 mins from wildwood and cape May if you're visiting down the beach or shore don't sleep on this place. Now for the food we were looking for lunch we have our go to spots but wanted to change it up and I'm so glad my wife chose TBD. Has a great menu with something for everyone. I got a hot roast beef because it's one of my favorites. Side of fries hand cut. First the sandwich was everything I had hoped for I go a couple Roast beef sand places but this has shot to the top. Gravy on the side is how it came and it was just what the sand was meant for ciabatta roll soaked it up perfectly, no prob I'm not a fan of the disintegrating gravy sand I like to control the gravy. Roast beef was thick but not out of control thick, didn't need sharks teeth to bite through it. And not any gristle which definitely mattersHorseradish on the side a little bite not your make your nose run hot but hot enough. Hand cut fries delicious crispy hot and a perfect pairing to dip in the gravy. The pickle was exactly how you want a deli pickle to be crunchy fresh and sharp flavored w real dill I will say it again perfect . My wife had the burger it was huge tasty I know because I had half the right amount of everything. She chose the fresh homemade chips they were marvelous too I know because I grudgingly gave up a few fries to have some chips. It was big enough she said she would be skipping dinner. Anyway it's the kind of place you leave saying I can't wait to go back and try the other choices because you know they will all be made with culinary care and taste great. Don't step nod or miss this place. Being on weight watchers I know I'm gonna regret finding it, but you shouldn't it's on rt 47 the sign w the two black dogs sorry no pics of the food but I was hungry and scarfed it down before thinking

Do you restaurant owners not realize that there are people coming in and out of town at all times and on various days and we may work in service industries and maybe even the restaurants/hospitality industry I ordered whatever the burger is with the Gorgonzola cheese and it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Between the burger the bun the tomato and the onion was hard to get your mouth around but it wasn't really worth it to stretch your mouth that far. You had a choice of fries or salad and I chose the fries. In all honesty I've been in Cape May for a week now and have eaten out nearly every day and had some outstanding fries and I would swear these were yesterday's fries if not yesterday's fries from somebody else's plate. I asked the bartender if these were the normal presentation of the fries she said "oh yes they're hand cut fries" my question would be hand cut when and fried when? They were overdone and mushy. . And after exchange the bartender adopted a pissy attitude. Here's my thing to the managers/owners of this establishment: I have worked in various forms in hospitality and customer service. I'm also an older person, consumer, frequent visitor of restaurants and bars. Take this however you will. It's a Tuesday afternoon... The servers and the service and the food should be exactly the fucking same as it is on Friday and Saturday night. Feel free to contact me if I said anything out of line. PS I'm an interim innkeeper in Cape May and I will definitely be steering people away from your restaurant even though I've had decent experiences in the past. There's too much competition out there for too few dollars. Smarten up
