Nice area surrounded by trees. Hidden from the main road. Well maintained and plots were relatively inexpensive

My father-in-law's funeral was at Duckett, they did a nice job. when my mother-in-law died, my…read morehusband wanted to have it at the same place because it was right down the street from where they lived. 2 years prior We met with a man from Duckett and planned/prepaid while she was in a nursing home, the man was lovely and explained everything to us and we paid. When my mother-in-law passed, we contacted Duckett, but the man we met with was no longer there., We met with a woman who said she was the director, she had a really difficult time locating our contract, but finally did. It was an odd meeting, and I felt like she was very new at this. The day of the funeral we arrived on time as the family, when we walked into the funeral home we couldn't find her or anybody, there was a janitor's door open, and a lot of cleaning supplies were still out in the hall. My family came in right behind us and brought it to our attention that there was no book for people to sign in so we had to look for the director ( took us 10 minutes to locate her) to ask her for the book and the stand. When my husband got up at the funeral to to speak, there wasn't anything for him to put his notes on. Again, I went looking for the director to ask her and she said she took the stand to put the sign in book on so she took the sign in book off and carry the stand to where my husband was speaking. It was odd, the entire ordeal was odd. Lastly, and I hate to bring this up, but my mother-in-law looked horrible. She had makeup caked on her and bright red lipstick. I couldn't in good faith recommend this place. Sorry

Even though there's no signage stating otherwise! Then I'm told the parking area is One Direction again no parking notifications of any type then I'm told one entrance is only used as an entrance and one entrance is only used as an exit even though there's no labels on either of them!! Sure I was pretty upset in the first place seeing us were there for a funeral, but I thought the whole purpose of those people was to keep everything smooth. The actual interior has water stained ceilings, bathroom fans that are dying much like the whole reason you're there is way better places.

I dealt directly with Matthew, the owner, and he could not have been more professional or nicer. He was always responsive and able to help me out with a responsibility that was completely unfamiliar to me. The job they did was nothing short of phenomenal. They took a collection of pictures I provided (electronically via Google Drive if that matters) and made not only the usual video collage but also a blanket, a jigsaw puzzle, a printed collage board and, the one that garnered the mot comments, this folding memento of my wife. The visitors to my wife's Wake were all so touched and pleased by the job Fowler Kennedy had done that they couldn't stop talking about. I know this review is bizarre in the context of reviewing a funeral home but I'm hoping that somebody who was in the same boat I was in a little over a week ago will read this.

My mother was to be buried out of state, next to my father, so the arrangements were understandably complex. Matt Farrow, the gentleman in charge, handled all the details with consideration and compassion as well as perfect efficiency. Everything went smoothly despite the Covid era. We are most grateful to Matt and his team for their professionalism and support.

Finding a caring, well organized Funeral Director not only makes sure nothing is overlooked, but a consultation meeting also provides a checklist of the priority items that may need immediate attention. The Bryant family has been a part of the Wayland / Cochituate community for almost 50 years, and the connections they have built over that time are readily apparent. Their mixture of compassion and professionalism is a wonderful thing to find at a time when you need it most. Multiple generations of their family have come to the aid of multiple generations of our family, and their services are greatly appreciated.
