They made the whole process extremely easy. During trying times it's easy to get taken advantage of. I contacted 3 funeral homes in preparation to a family member dying. Our local one came in with the cheapest cremation costs. A friend recommended Casper and it was almost half the cost from what our family funeral home quoted us. That was with a discount as well! I called Casper about 2 months beforehand and they were very detailed and provided all the info that was needed. I had multiple phone calls with them and they were able to assist me even though I was in California. I mostly spoke with Jake and Colton during this process. When I arrived Saturday was the only day I could go down and we had a snowstorm the day prior. Roads were pretty bad and they were able to accommodate me even though they had a service going on. I had to arrange a cremation for a dear friend's elderly brother because she herself lived in another state and was unable to travel due to chronic illness. She called and told me about Casper Funeral Services, so I immediately contacted them. They listened to my problem, I paid them upfront, and then they went right to work. They retrieved the body, which had been in the morgue for over 2 weeks. They processed all of the additional required "red tape" stuff (because I wasn't a relative), and had the body cremated as soon as possible. I was contacted when the remains were ready for pickup. I picked them up and delivered them for scattering to the place designated by my friend. In summary, I was very pleased with how this funeral home handled this situation. We did not have a lot of money and my Mom wanted to be cremated. I was hesitant about searching online by price, but we made the best choice. My Mom died at home in S.
