I have had the pleasure of being in the company of this sweet collection of believers twice. Both times I was received warmly by its members. The Rabbi has visited our Tucker, Georgia congregation a few times as well and always with open arms. Here is the thing with Messianic congregations...they are small. Wonderfully small, perfectly knitted together communities of believers on a journey of discovery together. And because these congregations are few and far in-between Rabbi's know each other, and members go and visit each other's congregations because we are of the mindset that we all belong to One Big Beautiful family. I love that I can walk into this congregation and still feel right at home. Why? Because everything is familiar -- the love and presence of Ad-nai that draws us all out to deeper waters. If you have been asking questions that no one has been able to answer -- go here. If you have felt a nudge to move out but don't know where -- go here. If you have felt a missing but don't know how to fill it -- go here. If you have felt there is something more to this life as a believer -- there is! If you feel that there is more to the bible than you've been taught -- you're onto something! If you feel you have been created for a purpose -- you are! What you will get is a deeper, wider, more profound, iron sharpening iron, stretch your tent, take back territory, advancing upon the enemy, gold refining, chaff burning teaching that convicts you to move from disciple to emissary! The days are growing dark and the return of our Messiah is eminent. If anyone will remain to the end it will be because the Word of Ad-nai is hidden so deeply on the inside that no trial or tribulation could move them. This is my 10th year and I've been so blessed to be a part of this House of G-d! If you are seeking to know, understand and live by The Word of G-d to grow closer to Him daily, then please come experience Beit Shofarot. Our 2 Rabbis study thoroughly and maintain accountable to their Rabbis. They bring G-d's Word in a most unique way, weaving a story for our remembrance, for each to decide what to do. The Rabbis are servants of The Most High and love the flock they are called to shepherd. We are reminded as do they always model, "to know (G-d) before whom we stand". We are encouraged to think and ask questions. You will find people who love G-d and love their neighbors as themselves. Please stay far away from this place. They do not follow Gods word when it comes to issues within the house. They simply shun those who voice their concerns. Kick people out due to a paranoid Rabbi. BTW, this "Rabbi" is having to go to court for charges of simple assault because he pushed a former member. That's right, he put his hands on someone in a fit of rage!! Is this the kind of Rabbi you want to be taught be? This place is so dysfunctional, if you don't bow down and cater to this rabbi you will be on his hit list, you will be kicked out and gossiped about. I've heard it myself of him talking trash about former members. Every 2 years there is a major split all due to his paranoia. This synagogue stands as a beacon of worship of the Messiah in NC. I visit it from out of state, because I love its people, its worship, and its unabashed stand for G-d's timeless truths. I'm sorry for the negativity expressed on this review site and only wish that Beit Shofarot continue bringing people into the body of Messiah and teaching the truth of all of G-d's word, which starts with Torah... This fruit will be borne out, as the L-rd is magnified and served, not as character assassinations are levied in the electronic world. I have been attending Beit Shofarot for 6 years now. Their teaching is deep and full of truth. They provide insight on the scripture and present their teachings with scripture and the Hebrew to back it up. The congregation is very kind and I have built many great relationships with both the rabbis and members of the congregation. The worship is beautiful and the spirit truly moves. This congregation stands out as a worship center that does its best to not waiver from any of the laws gave us to live by from God. They worship as in 2nd temple times so it's an experience you won't forget. They have a lunch after the service and chitchat. It is a great place to come and worship. The people are very friendly. You learn about God and the Jewish ways and how they lived. The music is up lifiting and it shares God word in song. The dances give praise and glory to God. read more

It is not a synagogue. It is a church. Jews don't believe in Jesus. Don't expect anything Jewish here.
