Had a nice quick lunch at Beiteddine Express today. Service is friendly and food came out quickly. Ambiance is fine...the place is super casual but seemed clean. Food is overall solid...I highly recommend the Warakenab, Fattoush, and Moujadara. Definitely skip the Batata Harra which is really oily and it was heated up on a microwave so it wasn't too fresh. Late night and looking for food in the neighborhood. This place was hiding in plain sight. We stopped in, were warmly greeted, and ordered a mixed shawarma plate. In a word, delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the portions were generous. The two sauces were excellent and the onions, pickles and peppers were well done. We opened the bread like a pita and stuffed a little of everything in. I'm rolling my eyes at the two poor recommendations here on Yelp. I used to treat myself once a month and go here for lunch with a couple of colleagues from work. It is not expensive but buying food in central London every day can be. So my monthly treat was to go to this tiny restaurant in Curzon St. It is simple in design and very much down to earth, not dissimilar to a café in terms of seating etc. The food is Lebanese and they offer kebab type food. Not kebab that is reconstituted and served in a paper wrapper but individual kebabs made with fresh meat in a diced format and served with a salad on the side and little flat breads. It is the best food I have had in that area in over 6 years. It beats all the upmarket restaurants etc by a mile. I have now given up the rat race and it was therefore with excitement that I made a special journey into town to see if it was still as good as I remember. Fantastic is the answer, as good as it ever was. I will be jumping on the tube again (not in the rush hour) to go and visit my friends again. read more

Honestly I think this was the best meal I had during my last trip to London. I stopped in for some takeout after like 18 hours of traveling, and it was just what I needed. The Chicken/lamb combo shawarma was unbelievable- one of the best shawarmas I've ever had. They put all types of delicious pickled vegetables on there, along with an amazing garlic sauce. It was sooo good, and I wish I lived nearby so I could eat it all the time. I also had some hummus, which was very good too. I didn't think the prices were too bad, especially for Mayfair. Reasonable for the area. I think my meal cost maybe £12 total. I walked in and ordered takeaway, and service was quick. read more

Rude rude rude !!! We went there looking to get dinner Upon arrival we were greeted by a very RUDE waiter who was blocking the door. I assumed we needed reservations to be there and when I asked he said NO you don't need reservations but continued to block the door not allowing us to enter the restaurant??? He just stood there staring at us. He didn't move out of the way, he didn't offer us a table, he just did there and stared it was a very uncomfortable for the both of us. Feeling pretty positive and negative about this place... Mostly negative due to an incident yesterday. I went in to get an order of hommous to go. The lady told me that it would be £3.75 , which is clearly stated on the menu. I didn't cash and since I've had bad luck at most other Lebanese food joints paying small items with a card, I asked in advance. The lady told me that I couldn't pay with a card because the minimum was £6. I politely declined as I didn't have cash and began to walk out when the owner called me back in. They decided to take my card and prepared the hommous anyways. When it was ready, I was charged £5. WTF? If I'm going to be upcharged for using a card, don't tell me that you'll accept it and then charge me more? It didn't make sense. On the flip side, the hommous was delish! I was secretly hoping it would taste like shit so I'd have no reason to go back....but it was good and now I'm 50/50 on the place! read more

Good shwarma, reasonable prices, excellent banana shake. The apps are really not worth the effort - we ordered a fried cheese app which was okay, and okra - okay to eh, but not worth the extra stomach space in either case. The shwarma regular was very good and filling - though hot sauce would have been nice. The banana shake was excellent. BE was perfect - a chill place to satisfy hunger in a neighborhood not known for chill places or reasonable prices. The restaurant is not big or fancy. Solid Lebanese food joint. Gigantic menu. Mayfair prices. Conveniently located next to Green Park station. Hummus is good. (actually looks like the real thing!) Tabbouleh so-so. Kibbeh wasn't fresh out of the deep fryer, but good nonetheless. The only thing I was disappointed about was the mint tea. I'll try the Lebanese coffee next time... This was our late night, go to place for some hookah, hummus and baklava. We also had some of the other food offered and it was exceptional and fresh. Also, the herb and mint tea was extremely good and the perfect end to the day. Went there with for an small team lunch with my colleagues. So we ordered everything from lamb & Chicken Shawerma platters, Falafel, kofta, lamb chunks, shish tawook, and soup. The dishes were all OK, The Shawerma & Falafel in my opinion were their best two items. I didnt really think much of the other dishes. So if you're around mayfair and want a quick middles eastern bite, head this way. Another thing worth mentioning is that the staff was very nice and great hosts as we were a big group and they were able to get all our orders correct and make everyone feel welcomed. typical middle eastern service. read more

We wanted an affordable Lebanese food and found this place. The chicken and lamb sandwich wraps were good as was the falafel. Prices for the standard wraps are higher for eat-in (£6) than take away (£5), but still a good deal. I would have enjoyed my meal a little more had I not seen the cook go outside and smoke a cigarette after making our wraps. Then he came back inside to make the next order without washing his hands. Made us wonder if he was clean when he made our meal. Then the waiter took out a kleenex and wiped his nose, then put it on the counter behind the food case. I eat here whenever I am in Mayfair at lunch or dinner. By far the best Lebanese in central London. The staff are also super nice.

A solid choice if you are in the area and on a budget. It's not fair to mention budget when eating in Mayfair, and as expected several of the nearby Lebanese Restaurants were on the high side. I did not mind one bit that this is more of a cafe or lunch corner, then a full fledge restaurant. I paid for exactly what I needed, good food, and none of the embellishments at fancier places. The word "express" should set your expectations correctly. I had a large Lamb Shawarma Wrap, Tabouli and a diet coke. Excellent quality and taste. I went here today for lunch with a colleague and was totally ripped off. I ordered a small chicken wrap and before I had even paid a plastic bag was handed to me. They didn't ask what salads I wanted, sauces, ect and I am pretty sure it was wrapped up ages before I walked in. They all started loudly asking what was wrong with me when I questioned how long ago it was prepared. Needless the say, I dropped the kebab in the bin after walking out. Avoid!
