My friends and I are living on LongRidge Road which is about a 2 minute walk from Star Kebab. Nearly all of them had been to the restaurant several times so I decided to try it out. My friend and I walked in at about 8pm and it was not hay crowded. Small building with a small seating area but expected in London. Very warm inside after the heat wave that was sweeping through the U.K. We both ordered the chicken kebabs which was in a tortilla like thing. You had the option of having a cole-slaw topping in it along with a choice of sauce. Pretty good price but I suggest getting the larger portion since it is about 3 times bigger for only a small increase in price. We brought the food back home and it smelled great. Tasted great but about an hour after eating it we felt a little sick with stomach aches. Our other room mates had not had this side affect after eating Star Kabob the times they went. It was not extreme but still not a comfortable feeling. Besides the minor stomach ache after, it was very good with good portion sizes. The fries you can get are very good as well. Took a Tums after and felt fine. Will definitely go back since it is very close. Overall, another good restaurant with friendly staff in the Earl's Court area.

Chicken Tika Masala and some veggie curry thing....

One thing I liked about this place is that this is one of the few places that are open after bar hours. There is also a pizza place that is open late only a few steps away from Star Kebab, but don't go there! It was disgusting! Even tho this is a Kebab place with Mediteranean food, there is also a variety of indian food like chicken tika masala, spinach paneer, and curry. I'm not sure eating Indian food after drinking was a best idea (don't do this if u are too drunk...) but the food was pretty decent. If I ever stay in the same area again when I visit London, this will definitely be my to go to place after drinking.

Appetizer chicken tikka..side of wonderful hot sauce...but sadly dried out microwaved chicken

Three stars ..the main reason is the very nice "hot sauce " I was offered..on the side. .I just wanted a bite of kebab/tandoori...got an appetizer Of chicken tikka £5.50... Big turn off...microwaved food ... Very dry...but nicely spicy..the hot sauce was wonderful.. I wound up eating the tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce dunked in the hot sauce...so 3 stars..for hot sauce

Crazy good kebab. Top option near the Earls Court station. The smell wafting out the door is enough for a visit.

I had a real jones for a true British fish and chips meal. Since we weren't thrilled with the hotel's recommendation, we started to wander. We came across two Bobbies and thought, "Eureka! Surely they will know of a good fish and chips place". The answer to the question, however, was the start of the great dinner adventure. "There's no proper fish and chips around here", said the first cop. "You know, they are disappearing from all over Britain", said the second. The first cop went on to say, "If you want a proper [he pronounced it as "prawper", of course] fish and chips, it's pretty far; about 15 minutes from here. You'd have to take the number 74 or 430 nightbus. But that's a proper fish and chips shop, which is a dying breed here. You go down two blocks to the light, turn to the right and take the 74 or 430 bus through two roundabouts to the third stop. The shop is called The Anchor and it's a proper fish and chips, all right. Just next to the toy store". So off we went, down the street to find the nightbus. I had a vision of the Harry Potter movie in my head, of course. But the traffic was heavy, so the real bus wasn't going very fast. We were clearly off the tourist map and in a residential area of London. After a bit, we weren't sure if we had passed it or what, so we asked if anyone on the upper deck with us knew of The Anchor - no one had. But they knew the toy store, and that was the next stop, so we clambered down and jumped off at the next stop. There it was, not a block off. The owners (Maurice and his wife) were delightful people who really cared about us, taking the time for a conversation and just being super friendly. The meal was just the best in comfort food - tasty, warm, and satisfying. Prices were reasonable. I plan to return.

Chosen Bun is a burger take-away and delivery shop located in Fulham. Their concept is simple: do a good burger, and make sure it will still taste good after it was driven around town. To solve the challenge of transporting a burger properly, they designed special packaging. I noticed this little shop on Fulham Road one evening when I decided to walk part of my commute instead of taking the tube. And soon after that, I came back to check out their burger. The shop looks very much like a fancy fast food restaurant. Staff are very friendly and it seemed that the atmosphere in the kitchen was really good. To the food, I ordered The Shoveman, a beef burger with cheese and bacon, with Belgians, that's their chunky skin-on chips with rosemary salt. After a short while, my food was ready and handed to me in their signature packaging - I stayed in store, but it was still interesting to see what they came up with. The burger tasted pretty good. It was not too messy to eat, the juicy patty was cooked medium and the burger was full of delicious flavours. The chunky chips were okay, but I had better chips in London. They are chunky and crispy, but not all are crispy. They are finished with rosemary salt, but they are far from other rosemary chips I've tasted before. Anyway, there are still some other interesting items on the menu that I'd like to try. As of now, they only deliver to a few post codes around the Fulham area, so in case you plan to stop by to pick up your burger, Chosen Bun is roughly between Fulham Broadway Underground station and Parsons Green Underground station.

The chicken wings were superbly tender as the meat literally fell off the bone with just a touch. Choose from three flavours to suit your fancy. Dipping sauce costs extra. Onion rings were good but could use a little work on the breading to onion ratio. Their burgers are delicious with a plump bun, thick patty and right amount of toppings. They offer a selection of beef, chicken and mushroom burgers along with creative sides like fried mac and cheese. Along with a handful of craft milkshakes, I will be dining here again.
