I had a really positive experience with Bree! I did the London (Mega) Volume full set and I'm really happy with how they turned out. That's saying a lot because I've had a really hard time finding a good lash person since moving from Las Vegas to Maryland. I'm practically three weeks in and have about 1/2 of the lashes left, which is pretty good because I have oily skin, I've gone swimming, and I'm a rough sleeper. Made an appointment online. I even got a confirmation email with directions. I took off work, got a nanny, took an hour drive, and even paid for parking ( yeah parking is paid. I paid about 6 dollars for parking). I called 30 minutes ahead of my appointment to let them know I may be one or two minutes late because traffic had started to pick up but my eta was still to arrive on time. The receptionist said "ok I'll let your technician know" It wasn't until I finished my hour drive to the salon that they told me my appointment didn't exist. I forwarded my confirmation and they claimed to not know what happened. They offered to come in the next day or drive an additional 45 minutes to their other location. Overall annoyed and disappointed at such a terrible experience with this company. Annoyed that I wasted my time and my gas and my 6 dollars for parking. Annoyed that the receptionist didn't let me know when I called the first time that they couldn't find me in the system. I ended up finding another lash technician in Columbia with great reviews and a more reliable system for their customers. read more

READ THIS IF YOU WANT AN HONEST REVIEW. I started getting lash extensions last summer and initially went to someone that was so unprofessional and shocker..she was on Groupon. Finally, I dropped that girl and went to Bel Air Lash Bar for a volume fill on my existing lashes. I really appreciated that they would work with my existing lashes instead of making me get them removed & then pay for a full set. Amy knew exactly what I wanted and did my fill in an hour. I was instantly hooked. I've been going to Bel Air Lash Bar for almost a year now and I love all of the girls there, but Amy is my favorite for super dramatic volume lashes. Both locations (there's a Baltimore Lash Bar too) are always clean and professional looking. The girls are so nice and make you feel like you've been friends with them forever! The most important thing is the quality of the lashes they use. They use Novalash lashes, which are so much softer than extensions you'd get elsewhere. Lashes are obviously a luxury service, but the pricing at both locations is more than fair. Way more affordable than other lash bars I've seen. You can get a classic fill for $60 or a volume fill for $100 (and I mean real volume) that lasts 3-4 weeks on most people. I'm obsessed so I go every 2-3 weeks. Lashes will shorten your routine in the morning. You really don't need much make up with them & they don't damage your eyelashes if you take care of them. My natural lashes are actually longer because I no longer need to wear mascara. You can also schedule all of your own appointments online, which is awesome if you're busy like me. Very friendly environment, love the way lashes look. This was my first time and had no idea what to expect. Now after a few fills, I am noticing lashes coming out in clusters? These clusters seem to be painful as they are growing out also. I believe the lashes are supposed to be glued individually, not in clusters. That is what I paid for. Not only that, the lashes don't last long. I've attached a photo of what the lashes look like when they fall out. Sad to say (because my lash tech was so nice), but I think this was due to improper application. Nice while it lasted, but won't be coming back. read more

I got my very first lash extensions done here. I'm sad to say I realize now that the quality of my lash application was not the best, though it looked very pretty. Amy seems like a really nice person, but the first thing I noticed was when I tried to open my eyes at the end of the appointment. I think my bottom lashes were not taped properly because as soon as I tried to open up, it was instant pain and my eyes were watering like crazy for a little while. There were a whole bunch of lower lashes that were stuck in the glue, so it was like my eyes were sewn together.. though I was willing to overlook that because I thought it was normal. Looking back this at was also probably because the glue was applied to multiple lashes to attach a single extension, instead of just one extension per natural lash. I noticed that the lash extensions would fall at funny angles even as they were still attached to my eye--which was because one lash would come out but it was still glued to another, so I would have to yank out that remaining natural lash or otherwise deal with the damage that would come from having constant pulling on my natural lashes. Another lash technician told me that this can actually cause styes and eventually cause lashes to weaken over time. This other technician also spent a lot of time separating my lashes because so many were glued together. Finally, the last big red flag was that I left the appointment not really knowing how to clean my lashes. I knew what chemicals I had to stay away from, but proper hygiene seems like it's vital to keeping everything healthy and clean. I looked it up on YouTube anyways but I still think any quality technician would make sure their clients knew the importance of cleaning their eyes. I hate to leave bad reviews, but I would recommend other people to either try somewhere else or at least make sure these things don't happen to you because I'm pretty bummed my first experience turned out this way. read more

I have a bald spot from 6 of my natural lashes falling out because a bundle was put on. BALD SPOT!!! They put bundles of lashes on, so if you get individual ones put on dont go here. This is the worst thing I have ever had done. I have blonde lashes so naturally you can't see them. But you can see the bald spot. read more

I would steer clear from Belair Lash Bar. My first appointment was about a year ago with Amy for a Classic fill, the results were so so but overpriced, so I went back to the previous salon I originally came from initially. I thought I test the waters/weighing out my options on other lash salons in the area. One year later I tried Belair Lash again but with another girl, Casey. At that visit, I had the volume fill, at the same time giving this place a second chance with a completely different lash tech. Three days later I had multiple lashes falling off, leaving me with noticeable gaps of lashes missing. Casey had too many lashes added to be considered "Volume", to much weight and the remaining lashes went completely straight, no curl what so ever on these lashes. I contacted Casey, informing her what was happening, also expecting her to at least fix the issue or credit me back the $100 that I was charged for these defective NOVALASH BRAND LASHES. But no. Instead, a text message was sent the next day telling me "IT MUST BE A SEVERE ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE THAT CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN". Are you kidding me? I disputed the charge with VISA and my dispute was honored, recieved my fund back. All she had to do was offer to fix or resolve the right way. But that's what happens when you do not have a fully trained lash tech work on your eyes. Casey did admit, she was not "NOVALASH TRAINED" while in the middle of our session, and that AMY trained her to avoid the cost of going to the overpriced NOVALASH CLASSES. YIKES!
