Definitely not fancy by any means, but if you're anywhere near this town this place is a must go, three of us had burgers and fries, my oldest son had the chicken sandwich, were beyond happy with our food, service and the prices were unreal, This place takes you back in time, they still use the trays that you put on your window, the prices are apparently from another time as well, we couldn't believe that 4 of us ate some great drive in food for under $30.00 with a tip. Their king cheeseburger is sooo good. It's one of those burgers that has a specific taste that you go back for. Prices are very reasonable! Old fashion car hop service or you may set at picnic tables under porch or a large pavilion. The wait is pretty long on the weekend but worth it. Drive in. Soft serve ice cream dipped in chocolate in a cone on a hot day... Cute waitresses bring it to you and you can sit at a picnic tables. This scene is repeated all over the midwest every summer. And I hope it always will be. read more

Be ready to wait for a LONG time. The food is amazing. They have the best milkshakes. There's a place in the grass for kids to play and an outdoor picnic area with shade to sit. If you don't want to sit outside, you can eat in your vehicle. There's no indoor seating. They're only open during the summer. read more

I've been going here for over 20 years. It's only open during the summer months. Best food!! Never had an issue with bad food EVER! You can expect to wait sometimes. It can get very busy with people coming in off the lake. So worth the wait. It doesn't matter what you order, it's all delicious, BUT..the burgers and fries are the best of the best!! read more

Great place to eat. They only accept cash. They have bags to play out back. Typical wait the server said was an hour. Good burger and fries for the price. Chocolate shake was incredible! We were driving back to our hotel after spending some time in Land Between the Lakes, saw a busy crowd in the parking lot, and decided to give it a shot. You can eat at tables, in your car, or take it home. Burgers? Excellent. The slightly squashed (not a bad thing) cheeseburger I had was delicious. I wanted another one. Shakes? I sampled the vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry and they were all great. The fries could use some work. I have always felt softer, saltier fries go better with great roadside burgers. The crunchy, crinkle-cut fries just didn't seem to fit for me, but that's just my personal preference. I would definitely recommend this place for the whole family. read more
