I missed my second appointment because they don't send you a text or email with a link to join-- after calling the office, I confirmed you use the original link from your first appointment-- except I don't remember being told that and every other doctor I've been to sends you a link for each telemedicine appointment. The admin assistant was furthermore rude when I explained my confusion with this system. There also is no way to you directly call or message your doctor - you need to leave a message with the front desk. For these two latter reasons (especially the rude staff), I would recommend going elsewhere.

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night.
